The Good

  • Services and Features
  • Desk Phone and Softphone Options

Services and Features

Celerity Telecom offers unlimited calling to the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. It provides all the services and features businesses require for VOIP at competitive prices.

PBX Systems

You can establish your own call flow. Calls can be directed to an automated menu, a group of extensions, or other options depending on the needs of your business. Celerity Telecom’s PBX hosting service also provides DID hosting, toll-free services, and unlimited FAX. Other PBX features include:

  • Interactive virtual receptionist
  • Hold music
  • Extension fail safe
  • Voicemail to email
  • Do not disturb settings
  • Operator panel
  • Call recording
  • Company directory
  • And more

Predictive Dialer Platforms

Celerity Telecom provides two cloud-based auto dialer platforms, UNIdial and MyDialer. MyDialer was developed in-house as a powerful, but easy-to-use system.

SIP Trunking

Celerity Telecom has both metered and unmetered SIP trunking options depending on the needs of your business. You can contact its sales team for a free trial of this service.

Desk Phone and Softphone Options

One of the benefits of VOIP is that it does not require a traditional phone to make calls. For businesses with remote workers, you may want to consider Celerity Telecom’s softphone options to limit the need to send physical phones to your employees. However, it does provide desk phones if you prefer. Celerity Telecom also offers converters if your business is transitioning from analog to VOIP.

The Bad

  • Limited Customer Service
  • Unprofessional Website

Limited Customer Service

Celerity Telecom offers unlimited technical support for issues related to its hosted services. Any support related to client usage, software, or hardware will be charged at a rate of $60 per hour. Additionally, Celerity Telecom’s technical support staff is only available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. It does provide an after hours emergency phone number, but the company discourages clients from using it by enforcing a $25 fine for all reports that are deemed non-urgent.

Unprofessional Website

Celerity Telecom’s website does not speak well to the professionalism of the company. In addition to minor (but obvious) grammatical errors and broken links, the website provides limited information on its products and services. Pricing is listed, but it does not specify if the price is per month, year, or user. Potential clients are required to speak to sales to get accurate and detailed information.

The Bottom Line

Celerity Telecom provides all the essential services for a VOIP system. However, its limited customer service does not make it an ideal choice for any business that does not have an experienced, in-house IT team. Without an in-house IT team to troubleshoot basic issues or provide support for user error, you could easily be charged extra for any support provided by Celerity Telecom.
