I think they are greedy and just want my money. I wanted help to take care of the last little bit of student loan that I owe before taxes came up so I reached out for help. They did not deliver on what they said they were going to do. I wish they were honest with me and told me they couldn't do it in time. They assured me that I could file my taxes and they would intervene with the people I owe money to. I didn't happen and I am not happy.

The people were really friendly and likeable but I didn't get the results that they said they could do. They really didn't reduce the penalties and interest. I was paying everything on time and they led me to believe that they could reduce the charges and they did not at all.

I signed up with them because they said they guaranteed and I found that wasn't true, it was the worst decision ever. They don't tell you the truth. From the get go, in their advertisement, they say they can lower how much you owe the government but it is only going to take five or seven years. They don't tell you that you get hurt and you're paying much to them. If you go online or speak to the government, you can get the same set up. This is a scam.

They used three people as my representative over several months. Two of those people left the company. They offered nothing to give me any relief and charged a lot. They informed me the IRS by law can't lower the amount you owe. What a sham they proved to be. I will say, when we determined thy could no longer help me, they did not continue to charge me a fee.

Ineptitude. Kept passing my case around to different agents. Sent my social security over email in the clear unencrypted. I was incapacitated with a medical condition, as so I was told they would come to me. They only sent someone to sign me up, no other visits were made. It was impossible to tell the difference between their ads and official business related emails.

Tax Defense Network doesn't communicate with their customers. They should definitely disclose everything when it comes to what kind of services and how they will actually be able to help instead of misleading you in waiting until you paid a significant amount of money to tell you that there's nothing they can do.

Communication is sometimes pretty tough. I thought my case was resolved and I contacted the IRS and found that it wasn't and so I'm a little unhappy about that because I paid a lot and it is still technically hasn't been resolved. I can't always get a hold of someone, it is difficult getting a response once the resolution is in place.

All they did was get the government to put me on noncollectible. They didn't give me the option at the end to do anything other than what they wanted to get done. It was hard to get back with them and to get them to respond.

I had to pay the full amount, they didn't relieve any of my taxes. It seemed like I got bounced between representatives constantly. It felt like a game of tag. I payed $500 a month for them to not get anything lowered, I could have just done it on my own.

I rate them that way because I was ultimately scammed out of $1200. Absolutely nothing was done on my behalf after signing and returning dozens of papers. This is a wrong I will seek to have made right.i do not know if this company is real or not to this day. Their name apparently changed after my first payment of 275 to them. Money Solver started emailing me on their behalf.

I used the number provided by the IRS to get assistance. I was told I had to PAY over $800 to examine my situation with the IRS. I owe the IRS. Why am I paying more to a government contracted agency even more to assist me? I expected advocacy but didn''t get it.

I did a lot of the work. I called them a lot and never got return phone calls. Once you're done, you're done. Even if you feel that you still need help, they don't help you and they want you to re-sign up again and start your case all over again.

Doesn''t practice what they preach, have dealt with them for going on 3 months now and I have lost my car, my childcare, my spouse, and the verge of losing my home. they did nothing for me. charged me a lot for a little. didn't save any money on taxes and ended up poorer after starting to pay them. they were supposed to include the current year taxes but didn't after I sent everything in and was told they would take care of everything. they wanted over 700 dollars to file a short form for a single retired taxpayer. would never use their service again. go to a local tax attorney. you'll be better off.

I contracted with tax defense 1 1/2 years ago. No resolution eas achieved and now i have a tax lien garnishing my paycheck. The IRS is taking my entire check and leaving less than $100 a week for me to live on. All of my bills are delinquent and my insurance was cancelled because of failure to pay. I will lose my job soon if I cant get to work and perform my job duties. I am still in contract with Tax Defense but at this time I can not pay that bill each month either.

Totally disappointed

Slow response times, poor communication with their clients. I have to initiate follow-up. Incorrect information on tax returns. I have an expensive contract and totally disppointed with their services. I would not recomment to anyone.

They were horrible. My case was so badly handled by the first "expert"that it was given to someone else who equally screwed it up. Even after signing papers and being assured that the irs wouldn't come after me they did. Then it was scramble scramble scramble to get something put in place. I contacted the bbb about the horrible knowledge that the professionals had.

They can make a resolution with the IRS and be the go between. The first time I used them their customer service was much better than the second time.
