Of all the places I have used to help me with my taxes Stopirs is the best! I hired another company out of Texas and they did nothing. I am not sure why I even tried to do this whole darn thing again but I did. I was very nervous but they were good. They gave me papers when I asked. We hired this company for our taxes. Their fees were better than the bigger companies we spoke to and they let us break it up. We filled out the paperwork, and let them do their thing. I did not really want to be bothered with it and BAM. 4 months later I got my settlement!! Couldnt have been happier. Saved us over $18,000. Good stuff.

They did a good job. I cant complain. I had an ugly audit and the IRS said I owed like $60,000. THey would not allow my truck expenses or my office stuff I claimed. There was other things too. I hired Stop IRS and they fought my audit. I had some records but not all. The Case Manager Jade was good and helping me find things and coming up with ideas for the stuff I needed. It took a while but I sure did not have to pay $60,000! so that was good.

Right now We are working on a compromise and I'm already in a hardship. If I end up with the hardship I'm standing real good, but hey, I will take that compromise too.

Horrible company! We paid good amount of money for our taxes to be resolved and nothing was done. We still owe and are still paying the same amount that we owed the IRS before we hired this company to help us lower or have some type of settlement. So basically we are back to square one with continuing to pay what we owe the IRS from the beginning. This is just not right for companies like this to take your hard earned money and not keep there part of the deal. So please do not invest your money in this company because you will not receive the service you paid for. They would start the paperwork and send you emails that everything has been done but at the end…the IRS was still sending us letters that we need to send payments.

Wasted $12,000 that I did not have in the first place believing they would do what they advertised. The only thing that was done was stopped receiving letters for a few months from IRS then continued again. Said they would work to help reduce the debt and get a payment agreement within appx 6 months and they would not ask me for additional funds. Claimed they would stop any lien on property. I wasted first $6,000 minimum payment initially and then told me because of the amount, about a year later, I had to pay 9 or $10,000 more and I said I already paid the $6,000, so the amount ended up being 4 -$6000 more the Last of any savings I had that could have went to the IRS debt in first place. Bottom line; no reduced anything, lien on property, letters continued. After numerous communications and asking them for proof of communication to IRS on my behalf; got nothing but a payment agreement I could have done myself after two plus years of nothing. Payment agreement is way more than I can afford. Amount owed only went up because the interest and penalty continued for a time. Never spoke to any attorney with Stopirsdebt.com. Had to send all of my paperwork over at least 3 -4 times; bank statements, etc... Very disappointed that I was taken advantage of. The IRS agreement is not even reasonable in consideration of income etc... Inexperienced individuals; passed back and forth to different contacts.

These people are scammers, stay away! They charged more than $3000 up front, promised to do my taxes for the next year, tried to renig, then filed them incorrectly. My case manager changed no less than four times. When it came down to signing a payment plan with the IRS, they refused to update my financials, saying it would cost an additional $1000 to do that—which is a LIE! The IRS. allows you to update your financials for free using a particular form. StopIRSDebt.com then just walked away, witout telling me they “closed my case.” The payment plan they worked out for me was for the FULL amount due plus penalties AND they REFUSED to update my financials which would have cost them 10 minutes since I was providing all the information and would have filled out the form for them. They wasted a year and a half, were incompetent at completing the tax filing they promised leaving off income that caused my tax audit in the first place, refused to amend their tax filing mistake, refused to amend my debt information in the tax payment negotiation with the IRS, refused to openly communicate with me during the process, and proved themselves to be amateurs and charlatans throughout the entire dreadful experience. I now owe almost double the original tax bill, am behind in filings, and have NO representation due to financial hardships and chronic illness. And now the IRS won't even talk to me because of the missed filings. These people basically STOLE my money by not delivering what they promised. They are evil, liars, unreliable, and unprofessional. Walk away and save yourself the money, time, and pain! Get a REAL CPA that’s rated 5 stars and can provide references and results.
