They make a lot of promises that they can't keep. When I started off doing taxes I started with them. They promise this and that but I never got what I was promised. They are quite pricey too. If you are only getting a small refund I don't recommend using them cause they will take your whole check

Do not go to Jackson Hewitt.! My husband and I were charged $400.00 to get our taxes done. We only had 4 pieces of paper so I guess we were charged $100.00 per paper! We have gone here for like 5 years now and have never been charged so much. We have questioned the charge but told by the tax preparer she did not have anything to do with the amount we were charged and I’m told there is nothing they can do now. Needless to say we will NEVER go back there!

I usually go between H&R Block and another tax company for ease of use and how "free" the free tax service is. H&R Block is really good about getting your taxes done quickly and simply using their online portals. Its very fast and very thorough and you also have the ability to talk to a tax preparer through their online messaging service.

This service is not worth paying for. you do all the work by bringing them everything and they put it in a computer. they offered no help on how to save money or advise for next tax year. you are better off buying turbo tax.
