My husband's health interfered with his ability to finish school. The payment back was finally forgiven, but Uncle Sam takes MY tax refund every year until it's paid off. It wasn't my loan, but he's disabled and I have to pay it.

As far as borrowing money goes it was extremely easy to get what I needed to lat for school, I do wish that federal student loans didn’t have interest and that there were more options for loan forgiveness for teachers. But, I got the loans knowing the terms and have been happy (as happy as one can be about debt) with the service they provide.
