I wrote a review on 4 September while in a rant. My roof was leaking. I had a contractor look at the situation and he advised that it was an attachment point of a solar panel. I will say that Trinity came to the house on September 10 to take a look at the situation and returned on the 13th to make a repair. The gentle,en that came were very professional , knowledgeable, and courteous (especially Greg!). Based on this excellent timely response, I would like to modify my rating to a full 5 stars.

Everything went very smoothly. From the sales Rep. to the installation. The techs that came out and did the installation were very nice and their work was first class. They were there at 8:00am sharp, and stayed till it was done. It was a one day install. Everything was very neat, and no mess anywhere. Before they left they explained and went over everything. They even move up the install a month early.

You will like this guy the moment u meet him , comes off very trusting and takes his time and explains everything. Any questions after solar is up and running, Dave is there. His numbers are right on and he did everything he said he would do

Alright ladies and gentlemen, so far so good. This will be an on going comment. My first contact with Trinity has been stellar. My neighbor Maurice B referred Trinity Solar to me as I was helping him clear the trees out of his yard. Brian K is the salesperson I first contacted. He had very prompt response time. I called him on Good Friday, he was at my house by 0800 the following day as promised. Very professional, very up front. He went through the entire process, (and it is a process) step by step. He answered my questions about the company, where the panels are manufactured, (Canada, China, and one other place (USA is dropping the ball on this one)). I am currently doing an extensive internet verification of the information I have gathered. Four out of Five stars because everything went as promised, Five star ratings are saved for something unexpectedly positive.

Beginning with Diane C who introduced us to the possibilities with solar energy through all the phases of installation, especially since Trinity coordinated with Interlock regarding our aluminum roof, we were alway kept well informed. When we had questions or concerns we would receive answers in an extremely timely manner. I highly recommend Trinity Solar for your solar needs.

I would like to revise my previous review from earlier this month. After emailing corporate office and getting no answer from them I was contacted by Rich from local office last week on getting snow guards installed. He stepped up big time to get it done for me as soon as possible and was in contact with me every step of the way. Today they came out and installed the snow guards today and they look great. We will see when it snows. I also want people to kno that when I get good service I let people know and when I get not good service I do give companies a chance to correct issue before going and posting a bad review. I take this very seriously because I am in service industry and expect to be treated how I treat my customers. I would have gave 5 stars if this was addressed when it was installed. I do give them credit due to they say they do not install them but due to safety concern they came through. I give Rich a lot of credit I was not easiest customer to deal with but he always kept his cool. I give trinity 4 stars because it means a lot in this day and age for a company to step up and do the right thing. Rich thank you for your excellent customer service and you should be recognized for that because it rare now a days. Thank you John Bova

Diane C was excellent to work with. She explained the benefits/savings of solar, the cost (and tax rebates/incentives) of the system and the process from installation to going live thoroughly.
The installation of the panels went smoothly and the crew was respectful and professional. There were a couple of minor consutruction issues which were resolved
quickly without an inconvience to me. The staff at Trinity (specifically Jacob who provided me with excellent customer service) did an excellent job at keeping me updated on the timelines for consttruction through implementation as well as minor corrections that were required.
Our panels have only been in use for about 45 days and I am already seeing savings on my electric bills. Trinity staff was excellent wtih repsonding and following up and I would highly recommend them.

Hi my name is well it don't matter what my name is and it don't matter what the salesperson's name is im not going to put it out there like that ,he may lose his job and I don't want that to happen cuz he may have a family to feed. But anyway I had my solar put up by a different company which is momentum, one day I was outside admiring the panels and the cage on the roof. Someone approached me and we started talking about solar. This person was from Trinity, he was one of the salesperson who made his rounds in Clifton New Jersey where I'm from. So we started talkin . he started asking if I can help him with some leads and he would give me more than what momentum would give me for the leads. So I asked how much more but first I told him they would give me $500 per lead so he said he'll make it additional $250 per lead . I had too Leeds that I was going to give to momentum, but he made a deal and we shook on . I gave them to the Trinity Hustler I mean sales person. I didn't know how the pay worked so I kept asking what's going on what's going on when am I going to get paid, I kept calling Trinity and I said the two leaves that I gave you they already put the solar on the house and this that and the other. one of them was right next door to me And another one was in North Plainfield , everything went through . it took a few months but I kept calling Trinity to find out what's going on . I have no problem with Trinity , they were telling me that they have to wait for permits and they have to wait for PSE and G and have to wait for the new meters , they have to cut down one of the trees ,. but anyway all that went through .a few months down the line Trinity sent me a check for 500 then few months down the line they sent me another check for the other lead 500. So I have no problem with Trinity they kept their word.the salesman who approached me didn't keep his word on his part. So I kept calling ,I ran into him on the street a couple of times and he's telling me this and he's telling me that . and he just didn't keep his word So eventually I knew I was getting the run around yep he hustled me, So we had phone conversations and we talk in person . I was recording the conversations just in case a guy like that said he didn't say this or he didn't say that I would be able to play the conversation back to him.I still have those recordings of him making promises saying that he was going to write me on personal check saying that when he make a sale that he was going to put my name on it as the one who gave him the lead so I will get paid that way and then he changed it and said, he was going to wait until they paid him. But I never got paid eventually I told him nevermind keep it he must need it .I told him he was a hustler and what would his company think of him representing them like this. I told him he's not a man because he don't keep his word,I had a couple of more leads and I never went back to Trinity even though I had no problem with Trinity .I gave the two leads to momentum and I am waiting to get paid and I have one more lead now I was going to call Trinity and give them that lead and tell them not to let the sales person handle it. But I don't want to get the sales person in trouble maybe he needs a job maybe he's not making as much money as I thought could have been a nice thing for him if you would have kept his word with me but he didn't..

Very pleased with Trinity Solar. Chris warned me up front that there was going to be a delay after the panels were installed. The install was on 7/11/18. The panels were turned on 9/11/18. I found the salesman, installers & customer service top notch. I'm waiting for our first electric bill to come in. That will be the real sign as to the savings I was promised.

I worked with Derek V on getting set up for solar. He was very professional and helped us to understand what size system we needed we were able to choose from 2 different size designs, which he did not try to push the larger one, we only discussed it when I brought up the potential to go larger. He has remained extremely helpful with answering questions after installation that I have had. OverAll was a great experience to deal with.

My salesperson from Trinity was Phil G. He was awesome! Friendly, respectful, professional, and knowledgeable are just a few words I can use to describe him. It has been almost a year since I first met him and over six months since my install and he still checks in on me to see how things are going. I think of him more as a good friend than I do as a salesperson. If he couldn't answer a question, he would find the answers for me very quickly. Trinity is very fortunate to have such an asset in their company!

Almost all of our experience with Trinity Solar (99%) was spent with Diane C. (energy consultant). There was no limit to the amount of visits she made with my husband and I in order for us to understand how the solar would work. We had many questions and concerns and she was extremely knowledgeable about the product and was able to set our minds at ease.

The service provided by Trinity was extraordinary. They aided side by side in assisting with the required paper work. They took care of all permits and other necessary administrative requirements. The process is a lengthy one, there's no getting around it, but they kept us advised via telephone calls as to where our project was in the timeline. Great company. Brian M. is kind, knowledgeable & follows up to make sure the customer is satisfied. The installation process was fast, clean & these guys know what they're doing. The inspector came out & there was a tiny wire that had been jostled in a rainstorm. The guys came out immediately & fixed the problem. Very polite. Answered any questions I had. Also, I also was able to bother Brian with my questions that even if they seemed silly, he always treats me with respect & made sure I understood everything that was happening. The first day started out with Luke who was very polite, friendly and patient. He explained why he was at my residence and I welcome him. He thoroughly explained to me about Trinity Solar and gave me details of how it works. Two weeks later Cody came to do assessment, and then two weeks later I believe it was Brian who came next to assess again. Overall everything went by so quickly. My solar panel was done and inspected. Currently waiting for my new meter to be installed by my electric company and then I’m good to go. Can’t wait. Thank you Trinity Solar.

Trinity as a company lived up to everything they told me they would do for me as a customer. My total time to full operation of our solar system was one week short of 4 months. Most of the delay time was from either my township or the power company. From Paul designing the system to Jesus providing constant updates regarding our progress, Trinity remained professional and responsible.

My solar panels are getting switched on today!!! This has been a great and easy process. Everything is as advertised. From the first step meeting sales rep, to the installation, to the customer service reps calling and letting us know each step before and after they were done (they handled all of it). We have been very happy with Trinity. The sales process was very pleasant and informative, and not at all pushy - Steve met with us multiple times and helped us find a solution that fit our needs. Install was a little slow (probably partly due to late spring snow!), but the panels have been up and active for several weeks - they look great, and we’re thrilled to be so far covering all our energy needs with solar!

Installers worked thru a snow storm, walking all over our roof, to complete installation. I'm not sure why it could not have been postponed for a less dangerous day because we were not "up and running" for about 90 days after the installation. Communication between us and Trinity Solar always went well. We have asked for someone (salesman? tech?) to stop by our home and explain how to read the meter and are waiting to hear back yet.

I thought a long time about getting solar panels then when I met Derek from Trinity Solar I knew the time was right. It is very affordable and will probably end up saving me money. Each and every one that I met from this company was a pleasure to deal with. They were all very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Derek was my go-to guy for any questions and always got back to me promptly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering solar panels. Nothing nicer than watching the electric meter run backwards!

This company has been great with me from the initial sale, to the awesome installer guys, my concierge's, to the enabling of my system. I've had 2 of my own personal concierge people from day one, and they have called me and kept me in the loop as well as sending emails every step of the way. If this system works as well as the staff that has taken care of me, this company should be commended on its business model. Absolutely flawless on all counts.

My experience has been wonderful. Everyone on Trinity has been helpful and on time. Diane C., my solar consultant, was extremely helpful in educating me on the process. I was hesitant at first being timid with new technology, but I also want to be good to the planet. I have learned a lot and my solar system is working great. Everyone has been so gracious and I am very happy with my decision. Diane has been to my home several times making sure each part of the process goes smoothly. I feel comfortable contacting Diane whenever I have a question.

Solar had been considered for our new home, but until Diane C. stopped by and explained details, no action was taken. Diane was willing, able, and patient answering all inquiries. The installation was on. The crews that did the work were obviously capable and experienced. Our installation went very well with no inconvenience beyond the necessary. The panels are arranged in a uniform design to maximize the energy they will produce for many years. At first mention of the cost of the system, one might gasp. But after all is calculated, the end result is well worth the process.

Grahams Crew installed our solar panels, workmanship was excellent. The crew did a fantastic job of installing the panels. They were efficient, tremendous work ethics and pleasant to us. My leasing company's name is Sunovo and my bill is $66 / month. I paid the utility, PSE&g $13 / month. I just read that going solar is the equivalent of planting 13-trees / year.
I cut one branch on my tree, and the bill went down to $4.35!!!
We have a full house, and had a very high electric bill. We couldn't be happier. If we could've done one thing differently, we would've bought them. It was only a few more dollars, and still lower than the electric bill.

Trinity Solar installers were professional,informative, and helpful. The office called to ask if I'd like to move up my install date due to a cancellation which I appreciated. The installers arrived,introduced themselves and came ready to work. Very little noise. While they installed the racking system, the electricians worked in the attic and garage. Very easy process over 2 days. No mess. Very friendly and happy crew.

We purchased our system and have had no problems. The salesman, Gordon, explained everything. Trinity customer service quickly handled a few issues with the paperwork with the utility, National Grid. The installers were very professional, arrived when scheduled, and did good work. The electricians had to put in extra effort due to some existing wiring issues and scheduling the electrical inspector. I really do not understand the low rated reviews, certainly not the Trinity operation in Rhode Island

I would totally recommend Trinity to anyone. Tony Roach, the sales agent is so kind and knowledgeable about the whole process. He is very upfront about the process being it takes a few months start to finish. At least in the jackson area it does. My panels went live in January 2016. I havent had an electric bill since March!!! Please ask for Tony!!!! He was amazing to work with and available all the time if you have questions.

I contracted with Trinity, financed (PPA) thru SUNNOVA. Install was clean, customer service was excellent, salesman very knowledgeable, Product was installed on agreed upon date, all paperwork was handled by Trinity & SUNNOVA (including local permits), and the system went live within the 72 day application/approval process dictated by the Utility. System is operating just fine, no complaints.

I think Trinity is a fairly good company. I had my system installed recently. A lot of people complain about solar companies and how long it takes to get to the point where your systems get turned on; it is not always solar company's fault for the amount of time it takes, there are so many step to get solar and so many parties involved. In New Jersey, you start with signing the contract, completing a permit with township, NJ clean energy approval, township inspection, utility approval, change of meter, SREC approval and account set up. One needs to be patient to get Solar system, 3 to 4 months should be expected with any solar company to complete project.

We contracted with Trinity last November and went live this past February. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the installation, customer service or results. We are saving money with our solar system and as retirees, appreciate the fixed cost.
I think the summary above needs to be updated. Trinity offers a terrific online monitoring service.

I have had my system installed since the end of 2020. The scheduling team was able to get the system on my roof before the end of the year per my request. Plus the install crew spent a ton of time hiding all the conduit. I absolutely Love my system thank you Trinity!

To start off this in an edited version of my original review. I was promised a $750 signing bonus that I finally received 5 or 6 months after installation. As it turns out my bonus slipped through the cracks. After discussing with their Director of Client Resources, Rachael G things got ironed out. The bothersome part was how long it took. But in the end with a little push, they fulfilled their promise in about a week after speaking with Rachael.
The installation process was problem free; There were a couple visits from technicians doing site surveys. On installation day there were about 5 guys on the roof and two electricians hooking things up to my breaker box. Since it was beautiful day the guys were able to get everything completed in a single day which exceeded my expectations.
The panels have been on the roof for about 6 months. I immediately noticed a difference in my electric bill. My summer electric bills were always more than $600. I am happy to say they dropped to less than $300. My autumn bills were always around $200 and now with solar they are less than $40. That is 1/5th of last year’s bill!!! It is clear to me the panels are doing their job. I am hopeful replacing my 20 year old AC will drop my summer bill as much as my Fall bills have dropped.
It is important to mention Trinity Solar is not the lease holder, Sunova is. With that said, the lease payment is $100 that goes up ever year; which is the downside of the lease. By the end of the 25 year lease the payments will be $200 a month. The idea is you are betting the price of electricity will go up that much in 25 years.
The thing that took me by surprise is there is not an effective way to get real time production data out of the system. For some reason Sunova reports the production data 48 hours in the rears. I find that odd. Considering there is an app from Solar Edge that other companies use to give consumers real time data. But that is not a Trinity issue, that is with Sunova.
My rating for installation - 5 stars. The entire process was well orchestrated.
My rating for operation of the panels themselves - 5 stars
My rating for the lease and how it is structured - 3 stars – only because of how transfer of payment works when selling the house.
My rating for them giving money for signing up during Covid-19 - 3 stars – Personally I did not like that I fell through the cracks. There should be systems in place to ensure your cliental is happy and got what they were promised.

All in all I have not had any problems with Trinity Solar and its been 10 years since I put the panels on my house. Just a word to the wise, make sure you put into your contract about removing and replacing the panels if you ever have to do your roof. We were told that we could do it once for free, and I just found out, thats not true and i never put it in writing. Shame on me. I know we did have a conversation about installing a new roof, just never followed up on it.
