I would not score them well. It took over 7 months to get the installation done and done right. The finished product is not a pretty sight. Pipes all over the roof. The installers lived almost 6 hours away. They did the best they could with what the company gave them. They showed up in person trucks and rent trucks. I had to ask them to show me who the where. The paperwork with the city took forever. But they where hiring other companies to do the work. From what I see Solar Sesame is just a bunch of salesmen farming out work to many companies. We had workers from 3 companies. Never had one contact! If I had a issue today I would have no idea who to call! Yes the system works and yes! I had to call and call to get it done. To save a little money I would say pay more and get good service with another company.

LIARS, LIARS, LIARS, Avoid this company like the plague! It took 10 months to get my solar working. There's thousands of dollars in damage to my home from their contractors and we are forced to go through our insurance company to get our home repaired. The rain gutters are rippled and bent from the ladder that was leaned against them, The whole electrical panel had to be replaced due to crossing the bus bar and causing an explosion. Our city inspector said this was a fire hazard. I could go on and on with the empty promises and lies. This company is all lip service and no action. I'm not sure how they're still in business!!!!!!

It took a year before they ever got finished installing the solar and getting it connected to SCE. We were never kept up on what was happening and when I’d call them to find out, I either didn’t get called back, or got a text with some kind of excuse and a promise to call me, then never did. Worst thing was we were told we’d get a rebate of almost $8,000, then when everything was done, found out it’s only a tax credit and we don’t have to file taxes, which I made sure they new! I’m still furious over this. They were supposed to have “their guy” call me six months ago with other information for getting rebates! NEVER HEARD A WORD, even after calling them 3 times!

We had major communication issues , I had to constantly follow up on status only to find out there were constant delays. I was never told I’d have to pay for solar even when panels were not installed. Every time I was told they would call me back with an update a call never came in I had to constantly call myself.

No follow up. Have the solar panels installed and still no word on when the tie in will happen. Been paying for the solar panel for 3 months now and receiving no benefits from it. Horrible experience, thinking about removing them.

Communication was horrible, timelines were completely ignored, and had to fight for reimbursement for terrible customer service. The only saving grace was Kristen Z who I believed worked hard to do right by the customer.
