I feel like the residential solar game is like the new world slimy car salesman. Within hours of inputting my information online to perform research on what solar system might work best for my small home, I was inundated with phone calls, emails, and people knocking at my door trying to convince me that every solar installer out there is a crook except for them. It turns out that they were right about the crooks - they are out there. Many of the companies that did solicit me quoted 1.5 to 2.5 times the cost that I finally settled with. That said, my experience with Smart Energy Brokers LLC was quite the opposite. I explained immediately to my consultant at SEB, Kristian, that I was overwhelmed and really wanted to skip the pitch and just wanted honest information about solar and what SEB could provide for me to meet my energy goals. Kristian was transparent, knowledgeable, and worked with me to design the system that best fit my energy requirements. Furthermore, Kristian kept in contact with me throughout the installation process, answered all of my questions (lots of them!), and helped me understand what I should expect moving forward. Kristian and his team at SEB are top notch, 10/10 I highly recommend these folks, they won't steer you wrong. And seriously - thanks for just being transparent and good humans, I wish you all the best of luck!
