I inquired about having solar quote and Steven A contacted me on 9/15/2023. The conversation started fine. He asked me for my latest electric bill. He then asked for 12 months' worth of utility bill. Everything was going fine until I said that I wanted batteries and I prefer Tesla since the company provided house that I stay in when I'm on the road has solar and Tesla power wall. Then he became more interested on the company house and tried to discourage me putting batteries. He said first that the Enphase batteries are better than Tesla's, then he said that their battery was expensive, and it would cost $13,398 to ship batteries and $5,000 more for additional batteries. I guess that this person assumed that I'm broke and can't afford to purchase a system. He even said that Many people ask about batteries, but we only recommend them if you actually need them. (Ex. someone at home on life support) since they are only good out here for power outages. (The conversation was text messages so I'm quoting this kid) He fails to realize that I want to get off grid. Pretentious. Little does this guy know, we are installing solar panels and batteries in South Africa and we're using Enphase from Germany. Then he quit talking to me. All the five-star rating doesn't matter when you have employees like this guy.

I’ve had my panels for just over a year now and as pleased as I am at their production, I am very disappointed to find out that I have to do all the monitoring. I was happy just paying the basic surcharge the power company charges( due to my credits accumulated in the first 8 months), when I noticed in July that my inverter had stopped working for the previous 5 months. I was not getting any credits for these high input solar hours! Bringing this complaint went unresolved and ignored. There is a performance guarantee in the contract I will be taking to the contractors board to file a complaint for lost power credits. So, if you don’t have time to monitor your solar production, I would definitely find a company that does.

Robco did not take care of what they were supposed to. It is crap. It does not work at all. It would be nice if they followed through with their customer service.
