Cust service and system administration is poor at best.My system was Iinstalled 6 mos ago and I am still not getting any energh credit through my utility because nrg cant seen to get the paperwork to them. Unreal !!!! Would not recommend.... several calls and ongoing with no resolutions..??????

I am reiterating Ronald Hicks. The same is happening to me. Signed up in 08/09/14 On the roof since March 2014 Still not hooked up. Now we need an M-5 singed by there company. No clue what it is. I will cll them again on Friday.

The system was installed over a week ago and had to call customer service because the meter was displaying an issue with the system. So i dont think the system is working and no one has shown up from nrg to check it out. So now ive got a new system that i dont know if its working or not. They are supposed to be monitoring it.

The worst possible service. Started process is 2013. It is Feb 2015. Greenmountain, my energy provide which is a subsidiary of NRG cannot for 6 months now switch me to this special plan that has the ability to do net metering. Do not use them by any means.

Why can't I give lower than 1 star? This company is disrespectful, awful, uncaring and the absolutely the worst. If they come to your door, be polite "Say no" and thank me for saving you months of trouble.

TERRIBLE System is down w/ a bad microconverter. They will not even call back till after 10 business days. then 2 more days to schedule any repair. WORST service ever!!! >>>and they know the problem

Used deceptive practice to sell solar farm contract making it a nightmare to desolve the contract. Check the BBB in your area to see where they really stand. Can't imagine where the rating on this page came from.

AVOID NRG AT ALL COSTS FOR RESIDENTIAL SOLAR! THEY CLAIM TO OFFER MAINTENANCE BUT DON'T. CALL IN A TICKET FOR SERVICE AND THE MINIMUM WAIT TIME IS 3 WEEKS! AND THAT IS AFTER MULTIPLE CALLS!

NRG has the wish customer service, they never contact us, they promised us that their solar panels were going to produce 75% energy and they don't even produce 10%. Our bill is the same as before we got solar panels.

Installation not completed after 11 months. Panels up, just waiting for the National Grid. Customer service is horrible. No answers at all... They keep saying 4-6 weeks to be connected..

Monitoring went down 5 months ago and after numerous emails, phone calls etc., no action. Looks like they don't even sell in CO anymore. Sold me a system and they have no one to service it in the area!

Terrible customer service. Panels installed in April, 2015. As of now, July 2015, not turned on. No one returns calls. Salesperson was great, but it ended there. I predict this company will be out of business.

What a sham! Was part of the solar farm in Farmington, MN. Sold my house so am moving out of state. CS Rep. told me that "I" had to find someone to transfer my account to. What? In the meantime, I have to keep paying a bill for something I no longer use. Later I discovered that they will put me on a transfer list. You see, they scam you into "purchasing" a small part of the farm. When you move you will have to keep paying their freaking bill even if you are not even in the state. My advice is DO NOT get involved with this BS. It is a scam. Am sending my complaint to the BBB and social media.

Signed up with NRG -now have solar panels sitting on my roof that are completely useless as I have not heard back for months from anyone to complete the process. I cannot get in contact with anyone who was involved in the initial set up. Numbers have been disconnected and the only valid # reached is in Texas. We were also told that we would receive a $1500 gift card once we signed with them and we never did. Also told that we would receive a referral fee and no one ever contacted the people we referred. Now they are restructuring and I think they have taken homeowner's rebates without a care.
