Thought I would share my experience to date with Fusion Power. For context I live in Arizona, it does not rain often but when it does it often pours. Several months ago after a rain all the power breakers with the solar system popped. I contacted support to let them know this was the second occurrence and something is wrong. Fusion began by telling everything was fine and my internet is down (the first go to “excuse”. I needed to explain multiple times the system was working again because I reset the breakers. I expresses my concerns with service and explained when I purchased the system I was told the system was monitored an issues were quickly addressed. I was told, “we do what we can but have a lot of systems to monitor”. That upset me because I don’t care about there inability to staff properly. Side note, the sales person, financing, installer, and monitoring are all seperate companies. So good luck with resolution. Fast forward to the technician arriving at my home. I explain in detail this is the second occurrence, what happened, and what was done on the first visit. I expressed my frustration professionally that I’m going the be upset if it happens again which the Technion found laughable. After telling me nothing was wrong I talked him into restarting the system. That is when the led system lights went red. He said, I guess I’m going to need to get my ladder. I went in the house to let him do is thing. Next thing I know he is gone, no communication, no not, nothing. Now here I sit 8/16/25, it rained and the breakers popped. Tried calling support, it is Saturday but figured I would try. Voice system says it is after business hours and hangs up. I’m thinking it would be helpful if the system told me what the business hours are. Out of frustration I called the emergency after hours number. Granted this is not an emergency but I’m frustrated at this point. Left a message three hours ago to report a safety concern. Seems like my next call is to the Arizona Solar Energy Industries Association.

Well you know originally there was a lot of excitement, unfortunately this all happened during the pandemic so fusion Powers phone calling became like every other business across the country, we are experiencing pandemic at this time and we are so much busier than normal that we cannot answer any questions for anyone will try to reply to your email within a week maybe, all right that might have been work for work but that's kind of the way it was that at this point if I had any questions I wouldn't even know who to call or where or when, the solar power the people that installed it yeah that all works they were actually fairly decent individuals just kind of weird installation of the AC and those people didn't want to be here either anyways because of the pandemic maybe it was all a bad situation at the time at this point it's like we just don't even know each other we don't.

First issue was with the initial inspection of the roof for the solar panels. The guy was scheduled to come out and call the day of, but never showed up. This put the project about 1 month behind because they inspection was not down, then the plan was not correct because of specific vents on the roof and had to wait a couple months for that to be re-created (little to no updates during this process). Once everything was approved, the installation and rest of the setup was quick. Secondly, they sell you on $0 down and you'll get $12K from a tax return/reimbursement that just needs to go to the loan. The problem is we only get $6K each year for 2 years. They said that they will raise monthly payments if this required payment is not met, which we couldn't meet because we don't have an extra $6K laying around. They were not upfront about how this works and hence the 2 of 5 stars. Power bill did drop from about $400 per month to $25, so that is a positive.

Fusion Solar comes off as a very good and trustworthy company at first. Over the course of 5 months it’s been headaches and delays one after another. The sales rep won’t tell you if there’s delay on your product and will authorize some actions without your consent. I had one such rep, I opted for a battery system and the installers came to my house to install the solar system without the battery. Come to find out that there was a recall on the battery I chose and the rep authorized the install without the battery. I wasn’t given a call or a reason why, which may not sound like a big deal. The catch is, once the panels are installed on your house you have 60 days before they will begin charging your account no matter if it’s working or producing power. Your electric will also not approve the system unless everything is hooked up. Imagine having solar on your house, missing a battery and being billed for it, while paying your normal electricity bill. The installers will also dupe you, they will be the nicest people to you and you will want to trust them. I had installers install everything and as told they will come back the next week to complete the install and never comeback to finish the install. What were they missing you wonder? What was required was for them to drill through my wall and patch in an Ethernet cord, as well as connect the solar to my main panel which should’ve been done the first time. I don’t recommend them. It’s been literally 5 months since I began the solar project with them and my solar still hasn’t been turned on and the installers still haven’t came back to finish what they started.

I was told by their rep, Jacob, that I would never see an APS bill again. In fact, I should receive a check from them each January. The first year I had to pay over $400 to Aps, besides my payment to Sunrun Also, my roof leaks underneath where they put a panel and they refuse to fix it, saying my roof was in bad condition. It never leaked until they installed panels..

Our home seems warmer than it did before with 2 new units, duct sealing, and solar. Our air has to be between 74-76 to be comfortable and there is noticeable difference in varying rooms. The company that did the duct sealing came out and now says we need new insulation....we didn't have an issue with cooling before we started this process. It doesn't make sense. Our bill is lower, but with the payment for the solar, it's about the same.

I have sun, I have solar panels. I am disappointed in the customer service. I had bird issues, which I was not warned about and requested that you folks put up the netting. This was suggested by others who have had the same issue and their company provided this service. 600.00 later I have the issue resolved, no thanks to my provider. I have not referred you folks to anyone because I feel you just took my business and left. Also, I feel I should have had more panels as I am not gaining much freedom from the power company.

Fusion did a quick analysis and design (which seems to be adequate) but then pretty much walked away from the project. There was a three month delay in panel shipments before installation was done, and then there was a three month delay before activation. They did not respond well over those six months and I needed to work pretty much directly with the contracted installer and loan people if I had any questions. Didn't see much value-add.

I wasn’t interested at first but the sales person kept coming back and he made a very good deal and I was really affected by his knowledgeable so we got fusion power. We’ve had some problems with it. It took like six months before we got online. Nobody was talking with each other so it was not a pleasant experience. They didn’t have enough panels at the installation so they couldn’t do it all in the same day.

When the system was sold to me I got a lot of misinformation and nothing has ever been done about that. There was no problem with the installation though it wasn’t working after it was installed. I had to contact the company to convince them it wasn’t working. The sales people need to tell the truth. I was told the system could be taken down if the houses was sold but I have found that it not true.

The first salesman said we would pay 120.00 per month and it would not go up. When it came time to sign the contract we were told it would go up each year a dollar or two per month.. This is called BAIT AND SWITCH. We stupidly went along with it. So we are stuck with it.

Everything is working well but the sales man told me a lot of things that aren’t true. They told me they would clean the panels when I wanted and that is not true and that they monitored my generator twice a day. They don’t monitor anything.

It’s not the best for us. They didn’t survey our house right. They put twelve panels and we have a two thousand square foot house and we rarely get a lower bill. We are still paying sixty eight dollars for electricity and when you add it together it is not much better.

Sales person bullied us and made promises he did not keep. The installers installed the solar box in a location that blocked my pest control box. They said they would fix it but they never did and didn't return my calls.

Before fusion the highest bill I had was 140 during the hot months and $60 from October through April. Now no matter what I have $114 per month plus the aps bill. This was a major mistake.

Emphasis was on selling and then getting a good rating before system was even installed. No returned phone calls or emails. System installed is too small; house orientation and shade trees necessitated more panels.
