I just got my first utility bill back and it is everything that was promised to me! Super grateful to Suntria and the Manager, Sunny D who took the time to walk me through this process from start to finish. I have had so many people come knock on my door in regards to solar and majority of them were pushy or aggressive. I did sit down with 2 other companies before Sunny came to knock on my door and I am so glad he did! Compared to the other two companies offerings (one cheaper and one far more expensive with a lesser warranties) Suntria uses USA made equipment which I really liked! As well as a 30 year warranty which covers just about everything besides acts of God scenarios. Sunny helped explain how adding this to my homeowners insurance policy would cover those situations. He was very professional, kept in touch weekly and when the installation team came out they were just as professional and courteous as Sunny. They took safety precautions very seriously and it was all up and completed the same day. It took a couple weeks for inspection to happen but after that, I got permission to turn the system on. Sunny showed up with a box of crumble cookies and a personalized Thank you card to celebrate! All those little things mean a lot to me if I am buying any product or service . I have to say that the transition to solar was something I was definitely nervous about but it was so smooth. I know if I call Sunny or Korina the project manager they would pick up the phone for me everytime if I had a question or concern. My avg bill was around $250 bucks a month and now I’m fixed in at $187! My first utility bill came in and it was $9.95 which Sunny told me could range between 10-30 dollars the first month or two as the system takes a month or two to start building up credits and production. Thank you so much to Suntria, installation crew, Korina and Sunny for helping me through this process! Even after the system was activated they have maintained contact periodically to make sure I am happy with the service. I most definitely am and will be referring to my friends and family!

From the moment I answered my door and saw this young, handsome, charming. And friendly salesman I smiled and wanted to hear what he had to say. I invited Danny in and we sat and I listened about solar. I was sold on ythe idea as I had been thinking solar for years. There was no pressure and he did a great job explaining everything. Every step had a rep explain the procedures and I was installed, at no cost, a Nest thermostat, a camera doorbell that operates on a Nest Hub that plays my Z88.3. Amazing!!!! Thank You Lord for favor. I am so happy to have had Danny knock on my door. He always answers my calls, and that means Suntria cares about it's customers. My cost monthly is much less than my power bill.😀

I almost didn't answer the door, but now I am so glad that I did! There was an angel standing out there from Suntria Solar who is saving me a ton of bill money and putting solar panels on my roof that I don't have to come out of pocket for at all! This is incredible, and sounds too good to be true, but I checked it out and everything he said is true. The feds are throwing money at us to go solar. So if Suntria shows up at your door, OPEN IT! This is a visit that could change your life! I realized that without solar, paying unpredictable utility bills until the day I die, would be financially catastophic for me. I suspect that is the case for most of us, so I say call Suntria and see if you can get approved, today! This is your ticket to energy freedom and you don't have to pay for it!

Everyone with Suntria that I had contact with were professional, polite and proficient at their jobs. I'm not a fan of door-to-door sales, but I'm happy to report that there was no hard sell, no pressure to sign on the dotted by Suntria! The physical installation of the solar system took just one day by two very nice, very expert young men. In fact, from first contact with Suntria (a knock on the door) to turning on the system and producing energy, the whole process took just 6 weeks! (It could have been a lot longer, but paperwork and inspections happened very quickly). All in all, an excellent experience with Suntria. If you are considering going solar, then I have no problem in recommending this company to you.

I don’t normally deal with door to door sales, but Evan N was a true salesperson. He’s honest, friendly and best of all, he’s very knowledgeable about his product. He answered all my questions, explained the process and had me sold before he left my house. He made the explanation of how I’d benefit from utilizing solar energy so understandable and made me feel confident in my decision to invest in solar panels. Just a few days and my panels were installed. The process was smooth and completed just as Evan had explained. Evan has been there even after the sale to make sure any questions or concerns that I had were answered. Justin & Scout came rolling up to our home on Segways, which I have never seen in this town. Most folks here are personally aware of the poverty line, so each dollar counts. Anyway, Justin did his sales pitch and used the name of the lady down the road. (Small town, but we didn’t personally know her.) Multiple times Justin said verbatim the he tells it straight up and after using a fear tactic that our energy cost would “at least” double if we didn’t do something, we agreed to a meeting. Tonight was the meeting and neither Justin nor Scout was in attendance. Instead, the manager for this region came (Kansas City). When informed that after reading the complaints & reviews on the bbb site, we’d decided there would be no meeting. The manager then attempted to guilt me by saying that it would’ve been nice had we emailed or called to let them know there’d be no meeting. They didn’t leave us a business card or brochure and my spouse & I had already discussed that Saturday after reading all the unfavorable bbb reviews. Justin, the sales rep we saw, told the manager that he’d called us. He didn’t. The manager then tried the “it was a long trip down here” approach to which I apologized, but the company should reimburse his mileage so likely that wasn’t an issue. The whole follow-up meeting seemed wrong. I question a company that sends someone completely unknown to close a deal with a potential customer, after that customer had built a small rapport with the sales person who came by initially. Plus, it felt very unprofessional to say there’d been a phone-call, when there wasn’t. To wrap it all up, guilting a potential customer for any reason is unethical and shows immaturity. Run, don’t walk, away from Suntria. If they do all of this even before anything was contracted, imagine how unscrupulous they might be once the you’re a customer!!!

If you considering Solar for your house, don't use Suntria. The a sales rep from them was a guy named Nick T. If guy you're talking to this guy ask for a different person or better yet use a different company. He got me to roll another loan in to the solar loan, but then didn't tell me how the first loan is going to be paid off, until after I'd sign for the solar loan. Also Nick promised me 3 months connected to solar before I would have to make the first payment on the solar loan. This is were the deal goes shady, instead of the banks paying each other, the money is supposed to be dispersed to HIM and HE has to bring me a check. He lied about when Suntria got paid from the loan company saying the solar has to be completely installed and connected before Suntria gets paid. After Suntria got paid and the solar is connected, instead of bringing me a check he gave vague answers as to when he's going to bring the check and when the money was to be dispersed to him. He lied to me about what is causing delays in the project when delays occur as well. This all started back in August 2023 for me, the solar was installed in September 2023. I spoke with Nick asking about the money to pay of the first loan, he stated that Suntria doesn't get funded until Solar is completely connected to the power grid, this was a lie. I spoke with the loan company in October 2023 and was informed Suntra was paid back in September 2023. I asked Nick about this and he changed his story to he doesn't get his disbursement until the solar is completely connected to the power grid. So I ask Nick what was remaining to get the solar connected, he told me Suntria is waiting on OG&E due to a shortage of their smart meters. In November 2023 I called OG&E, and was informed this was also a lie. OG&E was waiting on Suntria to come fix a connection before OG&E would be able to inspect and install said smart meter. I asked Nick about this and he stammered and changed his story again. In December 2023 the solar loan is now wanting paid and the solar is installed but not connected to my power or the grid. Finally in January 2024 Suntria fixes their connection issue. Then OG&E does their inspection and installation on the same day a few days later. I contact Nick letting him know that all the solar has finally been connected asking when I can get the money to pay off the loan that was rolled in to the solar. I'm still trying to get this money from him and his company. I am tired of this sales rep ghosting me to the point I have had to contact people in their headquarters, to deal with their employee and the theft of my money at this point.

Terrible communication, lack of empathy. Thought it would be a cake walk, but the entire process has been a nightmare and a financial burden. Suntria installed our panels 7/5/23, but it took until 12/9/2023 for someone to come out to actually turn on the system, so we didn't receive any solar benefit for a solid 5 months ; I'm still paying full electric bills on top of paying for the solar panels. It is now 2/1/2024(7 months later) and we've failed inspection 4 times, which gives me the impression Suntria does rushed jobs, neglecting adequate safety standards for proper installation. This company does not care for quality installation or care about their customers. We're just continuing to drain finances on an unfinished service. Other Issues: On the date of installation, 7/5/2023, one of their service techs dropped paint and damaged my garage floor and wife's car, something I would have turned a blind eye on, but now it's just left a bad taste in my mouth and my wallet. On the 3rd inspection(that failed),12/8/2023, one of the techs for some reason tried climbing on top of my water heater and caused a short, leaving my family with cold water for 2 days, which Suntria tried to avoid accountability, until I made a big fuss for someone to come out, on 12/9, in which all they did was reconnect the burnt prongs back to the outlet of my water heater and turned the setting to make my water hotter; they didn't replace anything. On this day they finally turned on my solar panels, making it seem like they saved the day, but it was just something that the first time installers forgot to do on day one; complete amateurs. After the 4th inspection(which failed again), 1/5/2024,Suntria said they would have someone the following morning of 1/8/2024, but their techs came late in the evening, and had to shut off my power in the middle of the night, leaving my family in the dark during our dinner time. I tried calling the Dallas Branch Manager, Brandon, to inform that I was upset with how this was coordinated, but never got a call back; just complete lack of empathy. Suntria has been extremely subpar in its way of communicating with customers and providing adequate updates on when work is going to be done and when people are going to show up to your house; I had 2 random people from "Oncor" show up to my door to work on the meter before the panels were even installed at the time, something Suntria never informed me about. On 1/30/2024, Inspector showed up, Suntria never showed, as Suntria didn't properly communicate/coordinate times for the gentleman; another frustration to add to my bucket of disappointment. Their sales rep, Zach B, gave us assurance that we were going to get the best service possible by this company, but it feels very disingenuous that there were no check-ins or follow ups after the panels were installed. I've had a terrible experience with one of the project managers, Caitlyn S, who was unprofessional and unhelpful in times when I really needed some guidance on my reimbursements(for all the months I paid for the panels with no activity and failed inspections), and when Suntria damaged my water heater. I urge Suntria to restructure the way they communicate with their customers and inform them about the process, via SMS or Email, as I had to call repeatedly the Sales rep and the Business, asking for updates, only receiving zero response. These things could easily have been provided to me in an automated fashion. I can't say how many times it's felt like I was duped by a phony business when no one answers their calls or when I get unknown SMS messages from contacts(with no name) stating they're from Suntria asking to click suspicious links to refer people, something I WILL NOT do even if they were legitimate as this company has dragged this on. All in all, extremely dissatisfied. I hope Suntria does better with future customers, but for now that is but a dream.

Very happy with the solar panels. I had 10 panels installed on the car port. Those are great. I also had 8 panels placed on the house. The panels on the house are not producing much because they are on the north west side and under a tree. I wanted them in the south west but it would have required ungrouping them but would have been a lot better. The reason for 3 stars is the price for the system because those 8 that won’t produce as much. Also I was told that the tree would be pruned to help with production but no follow-up was done.

I won't lie most of this interaction was wonderful so far. I'm not done yet. Evan N was excellent to deal with. Unfortunately dealing with Megan made me really ponder wether or not should I just cancel the whole process. I've been waiting over two years for a company that I felt was honorable and trustworthy enough for me to feel comfortable to do business with. If you deal with Megan back out as soon as possible. My only complaint is there is no one to complain to about horrible treatment. Her words "I am the boss, there is no one to talk to other than me." Later I was able to speak with someone higher than her that was an engineer... Either he didn't care to follow through with my complaint or the right person didn't care enough. The reason for the horrible engagement with Megan was just over asking questions about a piece of paper from the utility company. To be very clear it made it seem like I was going to pay huge fees. The worst part is that she didn't even know the answers to. She just expected me to sign regardless of my questions. To be clear, the low rating is because of Megan and the inability to complain to anybody who is willing to listen. Customer service I don't know if it exists. As far as I can tell, the sales rep is the only person you can talk to. That doesn't sound like a good idea. Long term.

Reggie has been excellent to work with. He has excellent work ethic’s and what we like is he responds quickly. We have not seen our 1st bill from electric company yet. That is because the city inspection took a long while to get out. I’m hoping to see a low bill next cycle. So far we are happy with Suntria .
