BUYER BEWARE SUNBRIGHT/ EQUITY SOLAR IS THE MOST DISHONEST COMPANY HERE IN ORLANDO/ ST CLOUD. . . Do not let this salesperson CEO MIGUEL Wilches conn you into thinking that going solar is the best option specially when he presents to you a lower price quote just to beat the competition to get his sale and commission. Miguel Wilches claims to help the Latino community into saving you money, but this isn’t true he is not looking out for you only his pocket. In May/June 2023 we presented Miguel Wilches our budget and he knew not to exceed our budget cost. We have a 2500 sq ft home and told him we were in the process of building a pool. He kept reassuring me that the solar panels would be more than enough coverage for the square footage of our home and pool. If he exceeded our budget amount he wouldn’t get his sale. Miguel Wilches missed lead us just to get his commission. Miguel Wilches should have been HONEST from the beginning and explained to us we needed more panels in order to cover our square footage including the pool. This was the whole point of wanting to benefit from going solar because of the pool being built. I’ve been working with Miguel Wilches and his team Esteban Moreno and Phil C (customer service experience) for about a year now. I was cooperative whenever they requested copies of my monthly Duke Energy Bill so that they can review my electrical consumption and compare the solar panels production. They even sent a representative to inspect our solar panels and he confirmed that the solar panels that were installed were not enough to provide us with solar energy to offset the consumption of electricity. I had been warning Miguel, Esteban and Phil right after my third (3months into solar) Duke Energy bill that my solar panels haven’t been producing enough to offset my electric consumption every month. I’ve reported this to the BBB and consumer fraud. I have a case open with Sunnova and hired an attorney to look into this matter. I will continue to report this shady company Sunbright Solar/ Equity Solar and complaint until my case has been resolved. STAY TUNED
