I would not score them well. It took over 7 months to get the installation done and done right. The finished product is not a pretty sight. Pipes all over the roof. The installers lived almost 6 hours away. They did the best they could with what the company gave them. They showed up in person trucks and rent trucks. I had to ask them to show me who the where.
The paperwork with the city took forever. But they where hiring other companies to do the work. From what I see Solar Sesame is just a bunch of salesmen farming out work to many companies. We had workers from 3 companies. Never had one contact! If I had a issue today I would have no idea who to call!
Yes the system works and yes! I had to call and call to get it done. To save a little money I would say pay more and get good service with another company.

I've done a lot of research and want to go Solar! I've had friends who used Solar Sesame and they had nothing but kind things to say about the rep that came to their home and made a proposal for them. The sign up process was easy for them and they use quality panels...they also give a referral bonus. So, I'll definitely be helping a friend out and saving money on my PGE bill which I hate paying every month when I get my solar installed! Solar is the way of the future, I'm so excited!

When looking to sell my parents home, we went back and forth about if solar would be beneficial in increasing the property value. However, sitting through solar appointments was becoming overwhelming and made us give up hope on seeing the benefits. we got quotes from a bunch of different places and the prices were all over the map. You've got to watch out, because some of these cheaper options are cutting corners with low-quality stuff from China. We decided to go with SolarSesame in the end because they were offering top-notch gear and service at a fair price. They really did their homework, looking into what we need now and what we might need down the line, and they sized the system just right. After chatting with them, it clicked that a couple of the other, more questionable solar companies had tried to lowball the system size to make their price seem more appealing. When the install day came around, the crew was here bright and early and didn't pack up until everything was done, all in one day!

Andre, my representative is very knowledgeable, patient, helpful and friendly. I asking for measuring the EMF and he bought an special meter and share all information with me.

Really happy with my experience! Everyone I dealt with was nice and professional and we got solar installed on our roof in about a month. The guy we met initially from SolarSesame told us it could take 2 months, and I love it when companies underpromise and overdeliver! I have already recommended them to couple of friends who are thinking about switching to solar.

LIARS, LIARS, LIARS, Avoid this company like the plague! It took 10 months to get my solar working. There's thousands of dollars in damage to my home from their contractors and we are forced to go through our insurance company to get our home repaired. The rain gutters are rippled and bent from the ladder that was leaned against them, The whole electrical panel had to be replaced due to crossing the bus bar and causing an explosion. Our city inspector said this was a fire hazard. I could go on and on with the empty promises and lies. This company is all lip service and no action. I'm not sure how they're still in business!!!!!!

Love our system . Since installation was completed we have had several power outages, which is frequent in our rural area. We would not have even known about the outages if others had not told us. We had power to our necessary systems like our well pump, fans and fridge and freezer. Plus we had lights.

It took a year before they ever got finished installing the solar and getting it connected to SCE. We were never kept up on what was happening and when I’d call them to find out, I either didn’t get called back, or got a text with some kind of excuse and a promise to call me, then never did. Worst thing was we were told we’d get a rebate of almost $8,000, then when everything was done, found out it’s only a tax credit and we don’t have to file taxes, which I made sure they new! I’m still furious over this. They were supposed to have “their guy” call me six months ago with other information for getting rebates! NEVER HEARD A WORD, even after calling them 3 times!

We had major communication issues , I had to constantly follow up on status only to find out there were constant delays. I was never told I’d have to pay for solar even when panels were not installed. Every time I was told they would call me back with an update a call never came in I had to constantly call myself.
