After waiting and getting all documents in order the system was finally installed. The team led by Tom was terrific. They worked so well together. Tom listened to our concerns on where we wanted the line to be outside and inside. They did the best job! No visible wires in front of house. Install was seamless. The panels are gorgeous. The are matte and solid blackish with a dark bronze look. They don't stand out or look bulky. They look great and blend into the roofline.we are very pleased! Now we are just waiting for the connection with national grid in box in front of house. We will be able to start letting the sun provide our energy. Devon , our consultant, created the perfect design for us as well.

The whole experience, from the salesperson to the installation team, was outstanding. Usually, in my experience, once the sale is done, there's not much communication. With Palmetto, that was not the case. The communication continued throughout making sure all my needs and questions were addressed. Everyone we encountered was professional, friendly, honest, and went out of their way to keep us informed and provide us with very helpful information that one does not normally get. It was like dealing with a best friend. I would recommend Palmetto to anyone and everyone!!

Everything was done as they stated it would be done. System is up and running and being that it is winter we really don’t know the capacity or potential of electricity that we can generate. We have been monitoring it on the app, but with sun low in the sky we are only averaging about 40-50kw a week. Hopefully is it better in the spring and summer.

The converter unit installed was not verticle and I requested that to be straightened which they did(very vesible) to the eye. This should have been fixed without asking. I received different answers to my questions when speaking with the help desk. Inspections were done and I was aware before this was communnicated to Palmette an numerous occasions. The the installers installed the breakers they had left out 3 blank covers to cover the holes...which this casued the install not to pass. I went down to the hardware store to purchase 3 blank plates and installed myself, took pictures and sent to Palmetto. Also had to send pics of the failed inspection notificataion and passed inspection on multiple occasions. I was doing some of there work for Palmetto which I should be need to.

I'm satisfied so far with my solar panels and the installation. However, I'm disappointed with the Ambassador program because my rep is telling me that a person I referred doesn't qualify me for the award. He told the person (my immediate neighbor) to speak to me. The neighbor spoke to me, and then decided Palmetto was the right company for him. I told my rep about this conversation weeks before the panels were installed, and now my rep is saying this doesn't count.

The process is entirely too long and there is lack of communication between phases of the project. I had my panels installed for 2.5 weeks now. I have not heard anything about getting the final inspection complete and when I follow up am told there is nothing they can do.

Everything goes smooth and as they have laid it out until there is a problem. Then they ghosted me. Nobody will return a phone call. Nobody wants to speak to me. Nobody wants to tell me what is going on and how we are going to fix the problem. I have an incomplete and non-active set of solar panels on my roof and nobody at Palmetto seems to care.

Good experience with installation. Bad experience with customer service. I can't get on the app, and no one can tell me how to successfully set or re-set my password (link is not working). Customer service doesn't seem to be actually reading emails, and they told me my system wasn't approved to be turned on, even though I had multiple confirmations that it was and my intermediary told me so. Not impressed!

Terrible customer service failed to provide solutions to my issue always said they would call me back and never would. Took over a month to get an inspection completed. I'm about a month and a half after install and my solar is not active. The install crew was awesome and so was the rep who I got the solar from.

It was explained to me that I would get a 26 percent rebate off my purchase. Which came to 54 050 dollars roughly 14,300 dollars. At my next tax year return . that was in 2020. But I don't get that amount zero zip. Because I don't make enough money and pay enough taxes to get this money. Not only will my monthly rate go up because it was written that if I don't sign over the 26 percent there's an add on my monthly payment goes from its current 203.10 to about 280 per month for 25 years. I am not sold that it it worth it for a 65 year old to take on that kind of debt to pay until I'm dead. And if I'm selling the house because it is a loan means buyer can't get the agreement transferred because it isn't paid for . look on as if rented ot leased. And they ask for proof of ownership. There is a tax credit good up to 3 years. So if I do come into some money then I can take it off my taxes but there is NO Money Given. no check past on to the owner of the solar panels. .. Don't get caught like me.

In August I signed the contract for solar. It's the end of January and my first payment is due the first week of February and the system still isn't activated. The customer service is a mess, no one ever knows what's going on. Twice there were significant delays with all the red tape that's involved and each time it was Palmetto who dropped the ball with paperwork. I had to constantly follow up with them and if they told me they would have someone get back to me, they never did. Appointments were never kept as scheduled, and most of their communication is via text unless you call them. The only positive experience I've had was with the installation, the crew was great. Supposedly after the installation was complete, Duke Energy has 30 days to switch me over so the system can be activated, but that didn't happen. I called Duke Energy to see what the hold up was and was told Palmetto hadn't completed the activation paperwork. Bottom line is I'm going to start paying for the service before it's even activated and I was told that could happen by March but if not, to give Palmetto a call. So it's been 6 months since the process started and could be 7 months before I can activate the system. I would not recommend this company to anyone considering solar.

my system was installed on 11/18/21. City inspector came out on 11/23/21 and red tagged the system. Finally, on 1/18/22, on the third try, the city inspector green tagged the installation. I was able to turn on my solar system on 1/26/22. If the installers were competent my system would have been on by 11/30/21. So it took an extra 2 months to utilize my system. That cost me an additional $155 in electric bills because of their incompetence.

My panels should have been connected the week of Jan 7th to the local power company. I was told that my panels WILL be operational before my 1st payment is due. And it's due 7 Feb. I spoke with a representative and she said I should do the work to find out why my panels are not connected yet. I explained to her the service I was promised and she RELUCTANTLY put me on hold and said by the end of this week. I did not have ANY confidence in your customer service at this time. I feel as if I will be hung out to dry during this process. I have been more than patient while waiting for my initial installation and if it wasn't for your quality salesman Collin...I would have moved on.

They installed the panels, got paid and forgot. The panels have been on the roof of my house for 2 months and they still don't work. All the inspections have already come, Nobody tells me when they will be in operation. I have asked several agents and still without working.
