Our rep, Tyler, helped make sure everything was great and perfect from day 1. Mark, Cory and Cole installed our system. They were incredible. They were kind, respectful and very professional. They explained things so we could understand. And made sure we were happy with everything. They 100% went above and beyond (even took care of old wires and an old satellite just to help me out).Very impressed.

I feel like they were very honest. They got the job dinne quickly. They offer a lot of supports such as people calling to help us understand the trax credits.. people calling and letting us know of the option to combine our mortgage loan and solar loan together. They weren't pushy. Many of our friends used them and were satisfied also. We also liked this company because you can pay them off as soon as you wish without a penalty. The other company we looked at only let you make a one time lump sum payment.

This company is easy to work with they took care of all the requirements and permits...we did very little... they scheduled 2 days for the install and they were done with the install bu 1:30 on the first day, the guys were soooooo nice and knowledgeable... we are now waiting for the county inspector and the utility company to install the new elect meter. Then we will be producing some of our own electricity..... YAAy

Blue Raven is AWESOME from Salesmen to Installation you are kept up to date throughout the entire process. They pulled the required permits with the city offered me a huge tax break as well as a deal I couldn’t say no to. Everyone I worked with was courteous, knowledgeable and professional.
Great experience, thank you Blue Raven for saving me a ton of money over the time I live in my home!!!!

I have been very impressed with Blue Raven and the entire process of getting solar panels on my house. When Randall H first knocked on our door to financing and installation, the company has been a pleasure to work with. And with our busy schedules, they have been more than accommodating. Our consultant, John, was very helpful and a good voice for us with the company. The company's service was prompt and thorough. They took care of everything for us- we never had to talk with anyone from the city or electric company. Our consultant and the company took care of all of the details very well.
The install crew was very professional and efficient. Survived pouring rain and did the whole install in about 8 hours- including a trip to town for dry clothes at lunch! Cleaned up the job site very well.

I had several last minute questions for the people in the office of Blue Raven prior to installation of my panels regarding how they would appear from the street. The support person was very helpful in locating information that addressed my questions.
My appointment was scheduled for 7 - 7:30 on a Friday and I was ready the materials arrived at that time. One of the installers called me to let me know they would show up closer to 9 because of where they were coming from. They got the job done early and were informative about the steps of the process. Thank you all very much!

Matt the crew at Blue Raven took great care of us from the initial meeting, to the instal of our solar panels. My appointment was scheduled for 7 a.m. on a Sunday and I was ready for it but thought that was kind of early. One of the installers called me to let me know they would show up closer to 9 to get started just to keep the noise down for a little bit which I was grateful for and they still got the job done on time and efficiently. I was skeptical at first because it sounded too good to be true but the entire Blue Raven team, including the finance company and the installers were amazing. They came to my house and explained everything in so much detail and they answered all of my questions. After all of the explanation it was really a no brainer, everybody should switch to solar energy. I am very satisfied and thankful that we made the choice to go solar and Blue Raven was the best!

From sales to installation this was a top notch company. The survey indicated I needed a new roof and Bam! They connected me with a company that was awesome and coupled roof and panels into one finance arrangement. I can’t say enough about the professionalism and thoroughness of both roofing and solar installers. I would definitely recommend this company for any solar need. No problems at all with installation or inspection.

I've couldn't have got solar at a better time perfect situation was there for me and it worked out too, I've actually paid off my panels and the production has been awesome throughout the 18 months and moving forward as well. I also have been encouraging others to go solar and hope that the whole understands this is the greatest thing moving forward in the future.

Great product, great service, bad sales job.
Blue Raven did not sell me the amount of panels I wanted or needed. When I figured out that I was not producing 100% or even 90% of my usage... more like 80% I called Blue Raven and told them I was dissatisfied with this. I was told by a Blue Raven customer service rep that I was producing exactly what the contract said I was supposed to produce. I told them that’s not what I was dissatisfied about. I told him I was dissatisfied with their kWh estimation. The customer service rep then told me they estimated that there would be a 20% saving with the Ecobee thermostat and switching to all LED lights so that’s how they came up with the amount of panels I would need. Guess what? Now I am producing 80% of the power I need. Excel Energy allows me to have enough panels for 106% power usage estimate. If that’s what I am allowed then that is what I wanted! What if I wanted to get an EV in the future. What about adding lighting. That 106% would have allowed for power usage growth. I had another company give an estimate which was 13kWh system vs. Blue Raven’s 10kWh system I had installed. The sales guy said the other company was trying to up sell a system I didn’t need. Wrong, if I had a 13kWh system I would be producing 100% of what I needed! Don’t be cute Blue Raven, give you customer what they want. They didn’t explain clearly enough how they came up with the estimate. Now I’m gonna have to have you guys back out here to complete the system I should have had in the 1st place!

Sorry about any confusion, the energy reduction numbers for using the ecobee thermostat comes directly from Ecobee's own data, but it's energy-reducing power depends heavily on the way the thermostat is used. We can certainly look into adding a few additional panels onto your home, please reach out to support to get that started!

The complete setup was easy -- from figuring out the best position for the panels, connecting with the energy company, and even following up on tax benefits -- Blue Raven Solar was there the entire time with fast and most importantly accurate responses.
This has been the best investment of my home buyer experience --- in the past year, I've yet to pay total what I've paid in just one monthly electric bill.

I made contact with a Blue Raven representative in September 2019. He thoroughly explained the process to me without any pressure to buy. Even though, the person who does the initial inspection didn’t work on the weekend, the company accommodated me and I was able to get the inspection on a Saturday. After I had the initial inspection, I was given three days to think things over. I was kept in the loop every step of the day. There was no out of pocket expense for me. I had my panels installed today. The installer was on time and worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwards.

We had Blue Raven Solar install our solar panels last week. They started on a bright sunny day, a little later in the day then they expected, so they didn't accomplish the entire job. The following day, it rarely even rains in Nevada, but it poured, the team was out there in their rain gear early in the morning to make sure our panel installation was complete by the end of the day. They just had to come back the next morning to clean up a bit and make sure everything looked great. We would said that was dedicated at its best. The team did a fantastic job, thank you to them all.

This was such a smooth process from the first contact through the explanation of how it would work to the installation. I started reaping the benefits almost instantly. Since the system was turned on, my average electric bill has been well under $20.

From the very first time my wife and I sat down with the sales Manager, I was impressed. All the facts and figures he quoted for us were correct. Once the install started, the four man team
doing the install were courteous inside and outside of our home.
Once the city permits were received the install followed within a few days. Solar design panel layout looked very professional when done! GREAT JOB SOLAR TEAM!!!

The initial sales people were not pushy, just gave me the facts. Being a CPA, I understood the simple economics - pay the utility or pay for solar. Utilities go on forever, solar is a short finance. A great option for those planning on retiring as you gain some independence from the utility companies and protect yourself against future rate increases. Invest in your house, not the utility company - GO SOLAR.

My panels were just installed this morning. Though they are not operating yet, so far, the process as been just as stated or quicker. Everyone I have dealt with from my salesman, to schedulers, to installers, have been very helpful and courteous. Next up is the city inspection and installation of the new meter by my electric company. Can't wait to power up the system!

Scott and his crew were great! Very courteous, friendly, professional crew. The installation looks great! The attention to detail is fantastic. The delays in the install are due to the local utility permits and not the fault of the installers. Once permits were approved, they came in and got it done! Scott went over the system and how to energize it once the inspection is done and passed. His company monitors the panels to be sure they are all functioning as they were designed to do. Top notch system. Top notch company and crew. Nothing negative at all to say about them!

The material truck and installers arrived in a timely manner and were very pleasant, the material was unloaded quickly, and the installers staid steady at it. There was a hiccup with the original design based on the breaker panel location, but they got on the phone with the design team and figured out an alternate solution quickly. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure i knew the next steps before my system could be put into service. Overall, a very good experience and i would recommend Blue Raven to others.

The rep that I talked to from Blue Raven Solar was Rhett Honeycutt. Rhett went to great lengths to explain the program to me. He went over how Blue Raven works with Duke Energy to set everything up. He covered how the system pays for itself and walked me through each step of the process to get set up. He explained all of the warranties and answered any question I had about the company. Rhett was very informative and knowledgeable about the company and about solar energy. He was very polite and made the experience very pleasant.

We had been considering solar for several years. Daniel S met with us and reviewed the setup. Danny and his crew installed in one day, quite a feat considering our steep pitched roof. They worked hard to get the net meter installed a few weeks later from excel energy. We bought the system outright. I have not received an energy bill yet, but am anxious to see how it will impact my bill. Everyone has kept me up to date with every aspect of the install. Overall, they did a great job!

The company is clean effective fast and the product is top of the line this is my second house I had blue raven solar installed onto. I produce way over what I expected in power with this Utah sunshine and they are paying the bill for awhile as well. With blue raven you OWN your panels its not a lease system. And the things can take a baseball to the face and not crack.

I have no complaints yet with this new concept of solar energy. All my questions were answered at the initial meetings before I signed up and it all looked positive and uplifting for the future. The only thing that would have stopped me was the big price tag for it but when the sales rep said they would provide the help in the payment process in the beginning , I was in.
The installation of the panels and hook-ups had some schedule problems with the city, vendors and contractors but
it went live without a problem. The check payment in the first year for the loan came every month and I was able to send the payment to the loan company. The past 6-8 month I have been receiving a credit amount from the pge account and haven't paid any bills till today. Now I feel this program is benefiting on my behalf. Hoorah!
Thank you for your input regarding the progress after one year. Very encouraging that I did the right thing.

I had been looking into Solar option in North Carolina for a few months. Moved into a new construction, with south facing rear, so it seemed like a good fit. Blue Raven reached out, come by, sat down with wife and myself, explained the whole process. It was just installed yesterday. They have been in constant communication keeping myself and the wife in the loop and letting us know what time frame to expect (need to get approvals). The crew showed up yesterday (on time) and were done on time. Very courteous and did not interfere with the household flow.

I have had my panels on for over 2 years now. They did the installation quickly and helped us jump through the hoops but when I went on the roof from the front side I noticed they bent in my rain gutter on the front. A picture taken and sent to the salesman. I never did get a response. I also talked to them about the amount of production as I live in an area where I just wanted a push for my overall electric bill with no excess back to the power company. We have not had a push year to date. I spoke with them some time back and they said the # of panels that were put up were sufficient - not really as we still pay to the utility every month. One thing I would like to mention is that I haven't talked to them again for a while on this issue. On other issues such as the Dashboard they put me on seems to be fine. I did have more than one company come and bid the job and they did the best job for us.

From the beginning to the end,
Blue Raven was transparent, helpful, and even fun (yes, I said it!) to work with. The salesman was very passionate and explained the options and process very clearly. It only took 8 weeks from signing to installation and the crews were through in one day. My system is producing more than what they guaranteed and my husband and I have another 12 months of free power as part of their seasonal promotion. Could not recommend Blue Raven enough.

I would definitely recommend Blue Raven Solar to anyone interested in going solar. Customer service was quick to respond to my questions and concerns. Install looks clean and professional. And with $0 upfront I now pay about $40 LESS than what I used to pay every month for electricity. Also got a lot of money back on my taxes for having the panels.

I currently live in South Carolina and I met with a Blue Raven representative. He was very helpful in deciding whether Solar would be beneficial for me and my home. Since I'm planning on selling my house by the end of the year I decided to to move forward. I met with several other companies before Blue Raven and they by far provided the best deal for me to go solar. I strongly recommend this company to anyone looking at solar.

This is a follow-up to a previous review.
Once again I want to say my overall experience with Blue Raven is generally positive except for the two issues I have reviewed.
When discussing solar options with Blue Raven representatives I expressed a desire to have little or no electric bill after solar panel installation. I was told that 14 panels were all my roof would accommodate. I have since spoken to a neighbor with the same model home (Hamilton model by Ivory builders). He has over 30 panels installed and has virtually no electric bill, while my bill is $132.00 per month. I was willing to pay for more panels had I been told I could do so. Perhaps an additional number of panels could be installed without an exorbitant cost?

Our design team will opt to not put panels in unproductive areas seeing as they won't return your investment. With different directions or unique obstructions (trees or neighboring homes), the available panel placement will vary. The customer experience and quality of our solar system with Blue Raven exceeded my expectations. We met with 3 other solar companies before making our decision. We are saving a lot of money every month and we received the federal tax credits to pay down our system! Our neighbor went with a different company and he always tells me he wishes he had gone with Blue Raven. The black on black panels and interior conduit look so good compared to other systems we see on people’s roof! Highly recommend Blue Raven Solar!

Blue Raven Solar! I worked directly with Utah for all my requirements. I have had them installed since April of 2017. I can contact them any time I have questions. The only issue I had was their Summerville Representative, that's why I went directly to the Main Office. The crews were professional and fantastic. To this day 1/5/2018 I am very satisfied with their products and customer services in UTAH!

Blue Raven is a remarkable company. We just completed the installation process and inspections! A positive personality abounds with expertise from all staff dealt with. Throughout a complicated process in our state, Blue Raven took personal care of our applications, installation and permitting, and inspections (many of those) with high professionalism and knowledge. Blue Raven Solar has been the best company to work with during my entire solar process. Their customer service is AMAZING and I know because I've spoken with many other solar companies and they all paled in comparison. Their installation was smooth and pain free and it looks so much better than any others in the neighborhood. All black panels with none of that metal conduit exposed. I strongly recommend Blue Raven.

I have been happy throughout the whole process, from our first sit down to the intstal and then turning on the system!
After our initial sit down I called my consultant up and told him that we will not be going Solar at this time. The way he handled that info and what he had to say, had me calling him back about a week later, telling him we were ready to move forward with Blue Raven.
Blue Raven was not the only Solar company we sat down with but I am very pleased we had chosen them.

I have been very happy with Blue Raven Solar. They did a great job explaining the process and getting everything started. Customer Service was very helpful any time I called. My only issue was once my panels were installed, nothing happened for two months until I called to follow up. I guess the power company had come out and need my breaker box updated. I understand that Rocky Mountain power isn't the best communicator, but I would think that Blue Raven would have some sort of process in place to follow up with me or the power company after a period of time of no contact. Once I called to check on the progress, the problem was quickly identified and resolved and now I am up and running!

Blue Raven solar process from sales rep to notary to install to billing, it have been a completely smooth process. They delivered exactly as promised ... Time lines were good, install crew professional, customer service no problems to date! I highly recommend Blue Raven Solar to anyone new to the solar game because they don't play games just deliver a great product!!!
