Ive never had a company put this much effort into making sure that I was knowlegedable about not just their company but solar itself. My install was effortless and quicker than they said it would be. Our 1st meeting, the rep showed up 1 hr late. They told us 6p, but he was told 7p. The contract was not the same as the estimate and it took a couple hrs of our Rep going back and forth with the contract department to get numbers right. In the end, the estimate had the numbers that were wrong and the actual monthly payment was over 20% higher. Most people would not be OK with that, but I already knew I wanted solar and I really liked our sales rep, Austin. Install was flawless and quick and clean. They cleaned up as though they were never there. The city inspector showed up without us knowing he was coming and Blue Raven showed up 20 mins later with all the paperwork he needed. That was the only full breakdown in communication with us and had we not been home at that moment, it would have set the whole process back another week. From start to finish, it seems like it takes forever, but understanding all the processes helps you understand that it really went fast. At the end of the day, was this the perfect experience from start to finish, no, but I hands down would recommend Blue Raven Solar and I am very happy we chose to stay with them. Thanks, Aaron

Great company for solar installation. This was done in Portland metro area, and installation, support, and service teams were all wonderful. BRS was completely competitive in pricing and product and beat out other companies I was looking at. Installation took 1 day for 17 panels and I was producing electricity within 2 weeks of installing. They were able to draw up and update the solar plan several times to meet my requests and were very understanding when it came to me comparing with other companies. My experience with BRS was without any issues, and a pleasure to have gone through.

It's has been a great experience so far. We just passed our city and county inspections. We even went through a wind storm recently and the solar panels didn't budge or make any noise being on the roof. We love the design and new look of the panels compared to older ones. Currently waiting for the power company to come out and do their part of switching out the meter. Everyone so far has been really fast on getting us set up. Looking forward to our panels being turned on.

After doing a lot of research we decided to contact Blue Raven Solar to discuss getting solar panels. Having financing within the company was a plus because we wouldn’t have to go with a different finance company. We were told that Solar panels were not a good candidate for are home. Are home is a older home and we don’t have direct sun light long enough to get full use for the panels. They saved us a lot of money by being so honest with us. For that reason I would recommend contacting this company if you are thinking going Solar.

We got our panels installed. After 2 months (no fault of the company-inspections, permits etc) we were up and running. My bill is now the monthly fee charged by the electric company. I'm sure it'll be higher in the summer but no where near what it used to be. Even with the monthly cost of the panels it will be A LOT LESS of what we used to pay. The staff has been very helpful with any questions I've had.

From the first sales call, the Blue Raven team has been precise in their communication, from pricing to dates for inspections and delivery / installation. I have had the solar panels for a few years and the sales person lied to us. We still have a high energy bill on top of the dollar loan. It is a hoax! They also mentioned we would get so much back in taxes and that was also a lie!

false advertising. only designed for 75% of my electrical usage and gave me light bulbs to cover the last 25% when I was under the impression that you designed for 100% of my electrical consumption, which of course, would have been the smart thing to do....

Hi Patrick, in the installation agreement you signed, Blue Raven guaranteed your system would produce 4,027 kWh in it's first year. Your system has produced 4,120 kWh in a year which is a 102% offset. You also signed the agreement for a 25% offset from our EE kit. Blue Raven has provided you with a state of the art system that is producing very well. Because your home has increased it's energy usage, the only way to offset this additional energy is to add additional panels. We are not responsible for your increased usage and such costs. - Maddie E., BRS

I hired Blue Raven to install solar panels for me because the salesman promised a lot. They did not deliver on the sales promises. The system took forever to install like over 6 months. We missed the entire summer of solar production. During the delays, I was promised that I would be financially compensated for lost solar production, then when the project was complete, they decided to not do that. I had to personally manage the subcontractors that Blue Raven hired. This took weeks of scheduling, emailing, and phone calling. I had to manage the city inspections myself. And I was sent bills for the subcontracted work that was supposed to be covered in the Blue Raven contract. One of the main reasons we hired Blue Raven was because they promised to handle everything. They did not do that. Once the project was complete, we realized that they did not even install what they promised. I emailed and called them multiple times with these complaints. They mostly ignored my emails and did call me back. I would have to call 4-5 times to get 1 response. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Hi Mike, We cannot guarantee anything outside of the written agreement you signed. To ensure you were aware of this, it is addressed within your contract and was also mentioned in your introduction call, which was recorded on 3/2/23.

Before installing the solar system, your home required a new roof, an upgraded main panel, and structural upgrades to the rafters to support solar panels. Much of this additional work was beyond Blue Raven Solar's control due to the scope of work. Moreover, because of the required work, Blue Raven Solar was unable to present, leading the contractors to contact you directly to schedule the work. It should be noted that while we request all contractors to direct payments to us, we cannot guarantee that they will fulfill that request.

While Blue Raven Solar does not guarantee a timeframe in which a solar project will be installed, our primary goal is to ensure they are completed before customers have to pay for them. In your case, the project was completed over two months before you had to make any payments, which is why no additional compensation was provided. It has been confirmed that Blue Raven Solar did install everything as outlined in your agreement, and although it is not guaranteed that customers can monitor their usage, Blue Raven Solar has reached out to you directly to explore the possibility of installing a consumption meter.
