Our experience has been great. All that they promised has been delivered. I did my research before going with Blue Raven they offered the best type of solar panels my home. The longest part has been waiting on electric company to switch out the meter. Blue Raven has their own employees install all equipment so no third parties to deal with and by far had the best interest rates for financing. Every time I had a question someone would call & text giving name and phone number. I'm glad I picked them. If anything changes I will come back with updates.

The crew installing the panels were very efficient, friendly and willing to take the time to explain what they were doing when asked. Cory, who came out to install the cell kit for internet access was very knowledgeable, saw that only 11 of the 28 panels were being seen by the software and took the time to fix the problem. He did a great job of explaining the apt for monitoring the system and explained every screen leaving us with a wonderful feeling that did the right thing going with solar and Blue Raven. Despite two inches of snowfall the night before, the Blue Raven crew arrived on time, cleared the snow from the roof, and completed the installation before dark. The crew was friendly and courteous. The crew leader found that some roof vents were not as shown on the installation plan. He was able to modify the placement of solar panels to a configuration much nicer in appearance. We could not be more pleased.

I have been quite happy with Blue Raven from the beginning. The salesperson, Adam has tried to be on top of everything and keep me posted along the way. The install started yesterday, but the wrong equipment, not all the stuff or the wrong stuff was sent. They did what they could but were also short staffed, so it couldn't be finished. Now I have to wait to get back on the schedule to get it finished and the inspection done. The installers were awesome - so professional and kept me informed of what was happening. I would have gone 5 star if this were just for the people I've dealt with, but since it includes the company as a whole and their goof up yesterday, I am going with a 4 but would actually do a 4.5 if I could.

Blue Raven was great from start to finish. They were extremely helpful throughout the process regarding initial contact, system design and financing. I was really impressed with the dedication and professionalism of the installation crew--they were quick and competent, and really seemed to like their jobs! In all, I could not believe how fast the process went from start to finish. The only delay has been PGE--we are still waiting for them to come and link up the bidirectional metering. But throughout Blue Rave has been on top of things and very attentive to detail.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you want to really see what they're about, check out the complaints on BBB. They have their customers do reviews right after contract signing & installation so the reviews aren't really representative of the company.

Installation team was courteous and professional. They arrived on time and installed the system with no interruption of electrical service to the house. During the installation we had several questions which the team answered right away. The cleanup around the house was OK but found a number of pieces of wire and metal conduit and clamps outside around the house, about 6 items in all. Not to do with the installation team but the system was installed 5 days ago, and we don't know if the system is working or when it will be working and have had no other contact from Blue Heaven about what if anything needs to happen and when? Overall Good experience!

While it sounds too good to be true, so far so good. The estimate, the planning, the install, etc. everything so far has gone great. We have been making electricity for a couple of weeks so far. Sales Manager, Install Crew were great. Process was VERY easy, Blue Raven Solar took care of everything. They also pay your 1st 18 months of your solar panel loan and the first check arrived without any call center calls. Everything has been as promised, as discussed and as planned. Very happy so far.

They were very respectful and informative about what they were doing and the process. **** Also very pleased with the way it looks **** I was fearful the panels would be an eye sore but they match nicely with our roof and our house being on a slight hill, they do not stick out much at all. The installation crew was absolutely wonderful. They answered all our questions and "bent over backwards" to make sure the installation was perfect. I particularly want to praise Henry. The only drawback to the whole process was seeming lack of communication in the office. No one told the installers that they would have to remove my solar hot water panels as part of the installation process (this was included in the contract). Removal of these panels and repair of the roof resulting from that removal delayed the installation a full day. The morning of the installation of the PV panels I received a phone call saying that the paperwork needed to initiate the inspection process had, inadvertently, been delayed in delivery and the scheduled inspection had to be moved out. Then, while the installers were just putting on the mounting brackets, I received an email saying that the installation was completed had passed inspection! After I replied noting the error I received a phone call apologizing for this error. Later I received an email saying the inspection would take place on the following day - the day that, just that morning, had been rescheduled a few weeks out. I replied noting the error. I received another email apologizing again saying the later inspection date had been entered in the system but that the original date had not been removed. The bottom line here is that the sales people and especially the installation crew are just amazing and can't be given enough praise, but the operations at the office leave something to be desired.

The company took care of all requirements -- recommending an excellent roofing contractor, getting permits, HOA approval, and installation of the system. Sales, Mike F was excellent. He stayed involved through the entire process as we had some issues where the home builder had not pre-wired our home for solar. Instead of waiting for the builder to do it correctly, Blue Raven did it themselves. They had extremely knowledgeable, skilled professionals install our system. In reading the very few bad reviews, Blue Raven reaches out and makes the situation right. Our system is not up and running yet, until electric company and inspection is completed, but I am confident if there are any issues, they will stand by their work. Highly recommended.

So far so good with the installation, they did show up 45 minutes early which I was not expecting but the installation was done in the time frame they had mentioned, the electrical boxes how ever took quite a bit longer, between three three and a half hours longer, I will not know if there are any problems or issues for a while because of the virus I cannot get any kind of inspection done until the City reopens so I may write more of a review after that process and I have a chance to see if everything is working correctly. But the installation was done in the time frame and so far so good?

Three installers arrived on time and started right away and loading in early morning of scheduled day and worked nonstop till finished at expected time mid afternoon. Team lead was exceptionally courteous and kept me informed through out the day of their status including a change in lay out that is expected to produce a higher output and an over view before leaving of all that was done with pictures of the installed panels on the roof. The only major negative part occurred at the end when view in the install finding out that the panel outside curbing to enclose the panels had NOT been included in the shipment. Due to squirrels running on the roof and leaves from neighbors trees falling all over my roof I had specifically mentioned to the Sales representative that I would NOT be able to have panels if they were not enclosed as I did not want squirrels running under them or to have piles of leaves stuck under the panels on my roof. The sales representative had ensured me that enclosing the panels was included in the install. After a few phone calls they were able to send Blue Raven and Idaho power to finish the install of the critter guards and activate the system.

The Blue Raven crew that did our installation was professional, clean and quick, and went out of their way to explain everything they were doing and answering all of our questions. Our lead for the project, Matt P, was very proactive in keeping us informed at each step and helping us keep things on track with Blue Raven and the power company. Overall we are very satisfied!

I'm not one to leave many reviews, but this time I had too...Mitch was my salesman, and he was very honest & professional! In addition, I want to give the installation guys on Boise ID Crew 2 Phenomenal accolades! Taylor, Braden and Dilian hit the ground running, and never stopped until the job was done! They were all professional, knowledgeable and their work ethic was impeccable! If the solar system works as good as these guys, I will be a 110% satisfied! Hands down the best crew, I will definitely request their installation services on my next building! Scott

Everyone at Blue Raven has been so personable from the salesperson to the guys in the field. Super surprised that we really didn’t have to lift a finger - Blue Raven contacted our HOA, the city, and the actual install was very timely. Seeing an eventual end to a power bill by some-day owning your own power is something to look forward to. Going to a renewable source of energy won’t save the world but it’ll help.

Sales and install and communication has been top-notch. The installers knocked it out in one day and you'd never know they were here by judging their clean-up...fantastic! We're excited about going solar. Salesman, Charles E was terrific. He really listened to us and didn't push, which would've turned me off. Just waiting for final inspection before we're hooked up and ready to go.

Great products and price. Excellent service. I just completed 1 year since my solar installation went live and the system has been working fantastic and till now there have been no issues. Their mobile application is very good and gives all the details one would like to keep an eye on. Customer service has been excellent with lovely staff. I am very happy I went with them.
