My Enlighten app constantly reports gateway meter measurement errors and I can’t get anyone to fix it. I have called many different times, am always told a date someone will be there and they never show up and never inform me. On the day of “monitoring appointment” the error stops for a couple days. The techs never let me know they are there despite my requests, so I never have a chance to ask any questions. The numbers on my Enlighten app do NOT ADD UP. Example: 28Feb I produced 4.5kW, used 1.5kW, exported 10.0 kW and the app reports 100% grid dependence. And nobody wants to fix it, apparently. Maybe this review will get someone’s attention and overhaul my experience with your company. So far I keep getting lied to about service dates and put off until “scheduled monitoring appointments” that are apparently failing to address the issues. Note: it isn’t David F’s fault (salesman)

Once you sign a contract the reps seem to sever ties with you and don’t follow up to see how your system is working for you. This occurred with the security system and solar panel installations. I can always call the company if I have a problem so this isn’t that big of a deal, it was just something I noticed.

I purchased a security system and solar panels through Amp. Soooooo sorry I let these people in my house. I have called to talk to someone regarding my issues with the contract on my solar panels and I usually wait long periods of time waiting for someone who will not answer because I have asked to talk to a manager or and being told someone will get back to me. I have been lied to about the solar panel tax reform monies I would get back at tax time. They wrote my contact up based on me giving the monies back to reduce my monthly payments. I never got a dime back at tax time due to I am not considered earned income. I have been lied to in the beginning that my panels would be covered in case of fire. I was contacted by one of their representatives to finance, paying off my panels when I told them I was not going to refinance my panels due to the interest rate. They went ahead and tried to finance it thereselves. I found out by being informed on my credit report. Buyers BEWARE! Stay away from this company, so tired of companies like this doing customers wrong.

We had solar panels put in on the back of our house thinking this is going to be so great which it still may be we don't know we had it put in a while back and we still have yet to have anyone inspected so we can get it going so actually we've just got it sitting on the roof doing nothing because no one's come out to inspect it so the company keeps telling me it's out of their hands and lg&e is just way behind that is fine but I can't give a recommendation to my friends that want to go solar because I don't know if it's any good or not it's not working so until then I can't give a reference all I can say is right now it's terrible because it's just sitting on my roof and has been since I put it in so if you use this company just be prepared to have solar sitting there doing nothing for longer than you ever expected maybe one day I'll get to save some money I don't know. I spoke with someone down the road that had solar put all across the front of their house and he said within a week someone inspected his and he's been saving money since I wished I had went with someone else but it's too late so all I can do is wait

I just finish a five years contract with amp and it was the worst service ever . And payments started 60.00 month by the time I was over 70.00 a month.and everything I need service work on my doorbell camera it was the worse experience ever. It works for awhile had it changed out twice but to get someone was not good.so I just gave up on them. Never again from me

The equipment barely made it a year before having to call tech support every month, every time the internet disconnected due to down lines, maintenance, or even heavy weather the system would need to be reset from AMP smarts side. I rode out the contract and had called them in April of 2023 to cancel service. Paid off the amount needed in order to cancel and was told a removal team would call me back. When calling them back to schedule a removal i was informed that is not something they do, so I removed the equipment myself. I then get an invoice 3 months later. My contract had been renewed since I never sent in an email or letter, which I was never informed about by the customer service team when paying off my balance to cancel. So I immediately contact them, get told by customer service and got a reply. I was told by the representative that was all that was needed and have now been sent another invoice, told my contract has auto renewed for 5 years, and that if I want to cancel its going to be $1500. When speaking to both customer service and loyalty team no one will assist in figuring this out or even what to do since I no longer have the equipment.

BEWARE this company and their sleezy sales tactics, false promises, and overall disregard for customer satisfaction. The salesman (I believe Jack) who sold us the system several years ago made all kinds of promises of what their system could do, then pressured me into signing the contract ASAP because his tech guy was leaving town tomorrow morning but could be on his way over if I signed immediately, leaving me no opportunity to read the contract. Major mistake. READ EVERY SINGLE DETAIL OF THE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN. He also failed to mention the 3 day cancellation period. Nothing we were promised about the systems capabilities came to fruition. For example, the alarm is “so sensitive” that if it hears any glass breaking, it would notify the police in case it was someone breaking a window. When my son accidentally shattered a bowl, right by the alarm system, nothing happened. Also, we ended up moving to a town where AMP does not even service and they still refuse to let us out of our contract. Then most recently, they raised our monthly rate without any kind of notice. After reviewing our contract, this should not have happened. But I guess only their customers have to abide by their contract, and they are free to do whatever they please. These people are wolves only looking to make a profit and with no regard for anyone’s actual safety.

Tori, we are sorry to hear about this! As far as the glass break sensor in the panel, the sound of glass breaking is usually within a specific frequency range that other materials might not fall in. So, if the bowl was made of ceramic and not glass, it shouldn't cause the sensor to go off. To address the issue of the move, we have several options available for your new home. Do not ever use, will force you into 5 year contract while covering up with “Free installation”. Panel and camera for $600 max on your own, I have paid for 3.5 years ($69 per month, $2800+), and still 1.5 years left. Panel broke, and only option to replace is $585 new panel & install fee, or New 5 year contract with $6 more per month

I signed a contract with AmpSmart while in brain fog from Chemo, menopause, and on narcotic pain medication- while home alone. The services rarely records events - last was January 4,2023! and I’ve swiped them all previously, had a technician come out who didn’t install the backyard outdoor camera. I’ve had many episodes of keypad and cameras not working. Especially not recording events. They’ve not sent a tech back out. I’ve had to sell my home due to Cancer and mounting debt; they’re refusing to let me out of my contract! They’re telling me I owe them ~$1500!!! Explain that I don’t have that type of money as I am selling my home and they/you don’t care. I’m selling to a corporation so they are not willing to purchase the alarm and I don’t need it as I am moving in with family- because I can’t afford to live alone. I’m sickened by this as they have no compassion and don’t care that there systems don’t work. I would think being heavily medicated and not in correct frame of mind would allow service cancellation- but they’re refusing. Well if I have to file bankruptcy or die they won’t get any money! I’m closing July 5th- AmpSmart can still make this right! I’ve contacted BBB & Channel 9 News would probably eat this up! I wonder how much business would be impacted? Knowing you DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS, but just the green they send in!

I've had ADT, Brinks, and AMP Smart and by far, AMP Smart is the worst. Their equipment is janky. I've had issues with my doorbell since day one. It's been replaced and still doesn't function properly. The garage door opener hasn't worked for months and I honestly don't have the time to sit on the phone with them while they have me climb on a latter to troubleshoot it. Every time they come out for their janky equipment, it's $35. Also, the salesperson asked me to be a show home for the product and I would get $5 off each month after the first year until I was back down to the $55 I was paying with ADT. She lied. And instead, they have raised it $5 each year. I took the sign out of my yard (which was a requirement for the deal) and have told everyone to NOT use this company. I've had to troubleshoot every device they installed. It's to the point where I don't even care anymore. I'm paying $78.99 a month because I have to. I wish I could get out of this ridiculous contract and go back to ADT. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN!

I have never seen worst service in my life. They locked me in a 5 year contract by year 3 the system stopped working and when I called they said they could not service it unless I renewed my contract for another 5 years. I did not want to renew so I paid for 2 years for a system that did not work. In May 2023 my contract ended and I called June 3 to cancel my account and they are charging me for June again for a system that does not work. I was unable to pay until today June 20 and when I called they are now trying to charge me for July again for a system that has not worked for two years. Customer Service was not able to explain to me why I have to pay for July they said a manager would call me, but at this point I am unsure if I will be getting a call back. If you are considering a security system DO NOT use AMP Smart/Titanium

I’m mad I have to give them 1 star. Worst service ever. Cheap equipment and they have poor customer service. I tried to cancel my contract ahead of time. They told me I had to wait. I called often to complain about service and equipment. They always were too busy or said someone would get back to me within 1-3 days. The kicker is they knew I wanted to cancel and never said a word about my contract would automatically renew for another 5 years if they didn’t receive an email a month ahead of time. Ripoff! Zero protection and zero support. Use your money with someone else. I’m looking into an attorney. I’d rather pay attorney fees than give this scam of a security system one more penny. You deserve quality equipment. Don’t get scammed by these people.

Horrible company. They have shady business practices. I've been trying to cancel for over two weeks. Then magically I get ahold of the department to cancel when it's less than 30 days by a day so I get charged an extra month. DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE.

This is the worst security system I have ever had. He will always be troubleshooting problems from the camera to the doorbell camera. I have had them out here several times to fix my security system and as soon as they leave a day or two same problem if I could take it down and throw it in the garbage can I would but I am locked into this contract that they would not let you out of unless pay them large amount of money so if you thinking about getting out but you better run

I called on 5/25/23 to cancel my service. The person that answer first transfers me to customer service and after I explained to her i needed to cancel my service because I was told we only had to keep it one year, but now they are telling me 5years and that was in the contract witch we never receive and if we cancel we would have to pay $1,800.00 to get out of the contract, we never saw a contract but they had use to sign saying that we would try it for a year to see if this was something we want to keep and now they are saying they had a contract and they need to send it to use.
