I am very much satisfied that we chose the solar panels and battery thru Axia by Qcells. The staff members of Axia are dedicated to helping with the customer needs. Aldo made sure that everything will be taken care of from start to finish. Bob and Joshua were also so helpful in terms of customer service. And lastly, the solar panels are very efficient as it is delivering the guaranteed energy production.

I normally don’t like to review businesses but I was comparing notes with my neighbor on our solar systems and I realized how fortunate I am that I bought from axia qcell. I was installed about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Bought the black panels and they are performing so well. The process wasn’t always smooth but they did what they said they would do. And I have the best solar panels out there. So after hearing my neighbors story about his solar company going out of business, I’m glad I went with axia qcell.

Buyer beware!!! This company has no idea how to manage a project. Our "project coordinator" (PC), Jaylin, is clueless regarding how to manage a project. She has consistently been behind on updates, fails to communicate when workers/inspectors will be on site, and even after I forward her information from SCE she still has no clue what is happening with the project and cannot keep me updated. Problems started immediately, with the PC not knowing that the project design was not only finished but had already been presented to me and approved. At that time, I asked that if there was going to be delays in project updates that she please escalate the issue. She did not, instead she continued to let the delays go on and on. Then she tells me that they are pending a meter spot, when the meter spot had been completed 7 days prior to her emailing me. Then we schedule an installation and the day before I asked if I was going to be given a time frame of when the workers would arrive. I did not get a response till the day of installation, one hour after the worker had already arrived. Keep in mind that my PC is 2 hours ahead of me. The blunders continued after installation as inspectors, reps from the electrical team, and even reps from Axia have all shown up to my house with 0 notice. It is pure luck that I was actually home each time someone came to the house. In September, I was told that all we were waiting for is the final inspection and permission to operate. On final inspection day a Axia rep came and pointed out that the installation job was not done properly given that the Tesla batteries were just placed in the dirt next to the wall instead of mounted. They were placed near a vent that should have more clearance and should have been place on a different wall, and the cable connecting the 2 batteries had haphazardly wrapped in a loop and left hanging loose instead of being properly secured. Luckily, the inspector passed us even with all these issues that the Axia rep pointed out. Very quickly there after SCE gave us PTO. You would think that with final inspection passed and PTO granted we would be done with this nightmare, but no it continued. For a week, I was delayed and told that a back up switch needed to be installed. But that switch was installed several weeks prior and the PC either did not notate it or was complete unaware. So, I finally get confirmation that everything is complete and we can turn the solar on. Axia even had the audacity to charge me the final bill, so my solar project is paid in full, but I still have no solar. We follow the exact instructions provided to activate the solar and nothing connects. Our app still says the installation is incomplete and it will not connect. So we request a site visit to get the system turned on and are given today's date as a confirmed scheduled day for said site visit. However, we are 1 hour past the window provided and no one has shown up, no one has contacted us, and no one is responding to my request for an update. Axia is a terrible solar provider and I would recommend that you avoid at all cost.

If I could give them less than 1 start I would. Don't be successful in by the sales rep. They will tell you what you want to hear and then do the exact opposite. I was told my solar would be up and running within 40 days max. There was issues from the beginning, from the plans not utilizing the area with the best production until I said something. I was given wrong information about how the solar was going to be ser up. I was never told about the 1st inspection date. Just had people show up at my house without notice. And failing a 2nd inspection because this company couldn't be bothered to fix the paperwork the inspection failed it for on the 1st inspection. Here we are 70+ days out from me signing on the dotted line and no one has actually answered my questions, they just are that good at giving me the run around. Do NOT get solar from this company!

We had axia install qcells black solar panels on our house and have been very happy with the results. We leased our solar system through qcells too. This was the first summer with solar and it had helped our electric bill quite a bit so far. I would recommend going solar with axia.

Got solar installed by Axia qcells last year. I also financed through them so that was convenient. Overall, I have been very happy with the performance. Qcells has top rated solar panels (this is why I went with them) and I enjoy having a battery to provide power to my home after the sun goes down. I would recommend Axia qcells.

Working with Axia has been great from start to finish!!! they always were quick to response to any questions that I had. Mr. Bob A. was amazing and the whole process with him was very professionally done!!!

I have been a partner with Axia by Qcells since October 2023 and have been in the industry since 2011. I want to give a special shout out to Project Coordinator Albert L, who continually goes above and beyond the call of duty and has excelled in Customer Communication. He is organized, friendly, helpful, and a trusted hardworking friend.

Overall I would highly recommend Axia as the best option for anyone thinking about getting solar panels. First off, the panels are top quality and beat the price of any solar company I consulted with, and I spoke with several. Second, the customer service is outstanding! Ian Holljes was my initial Energy Consultant and an absolute pleasure throughout my solar experience. He went above and beyond and made sure I had the confidence of knowing he was in my corner for anything I needed from start to finish. He always responded promptly, answered my questions with kindness and care, even when I felt like they were silly or I asked the same question more than once. His customer service and genuine care for my customer experience is hard to come by in any industry. Colton, our project coordinator also kept me in loop on plans, install dates, project progress, files needing signed, and offered exceptional customer support any time I needed it and even when I didn't expect it. Lastly, when I got frustrated with how long Edison was taking with their interconnection team to review one final document and give us PTO, Hadley (a project manager) stepped in to support! Hadley listened to my concerns, validated my frustrations, and helped me bull dog interconnection and Edison to get a response after getting the run around from them on my own. She was genuine, kind and understanding. She even went above and beyond with Axia to make the situation right for my customer experience with them even though that was all on Edison. My only gripe with this experience is Edison and interconnection need to get it together! Axia is a newer company with exceptional products and people working behind the scenes and shouldn't be put behind any of these larger, less trustable solar companies when it comes to their projects. My advice is to ensure you have a 3 month gap between your PTO application and first solar payments (to avoid double payments) because Edison makes them look bad and Axia deserves the best reputation of all the solar companies. If your looking for solar, choose Axia! With panels that lead the industry and the amazing team behind the scenes you can't go wrong.

Going Solar is a big decision for many. How large of system you need, panel quality, who is installing, workmanship and service during and after install. These choices are even tougher if you can't find a review of the company you are interested in. So, I'm providing this long review of Axia Solar. For myself I had many companies provide a quote for my system. Pricing ranged for the same system quite a bit, roughly 25% across the board. I wanted a one stop shop when it came to panels and install. I researched the panels I wanted first. I decided on Q Cell Panels. I than came across Axia Solar this was the one stop shop. Axia is backed by Q Cell, but Axia is fairly new to the install from what I could find online. I also could not find any reviews of them. I decided to take the chance with Axia. Price: They were the least expensive of all. This wasn't a concern to me because they own the panels, therefore I expected them to be less overall. Sales: Their sales department "Michael M" was fantastic. He answered all my questions and also provided valuable feedback to all my concerns as well. I'm sure I was a pain because it took me awhile to decide and he was very patient with me. Contract: Once in contract, their Customer Advocate or what I would call their project manager "Lindsay R" went beyond to keep me apprised of the status at all times. The permit process took a while several weeks in my county. Lindsay would give me updates weekly. Install: Their install crews were knowledgeable and profession. They coordinated all inspections and prepared all inter-phasing with PG&E my utility company. Their workmanship was clean. They did run into a couple of hick-ups after install. This delayed completion a few days, but I would not consider this a workmanship issue rather an interconnection issue with Enphase. When turning the system on for the first time, several of the inverters were not reporting to Enphase. They resolved the issue quickly. Scheduling/Timing: My original start date was delayed, a week due to unknown issues however Axia continued to inform me of the status almost daily. Once started, the system install took roughly a week from start to finish. I would think it would have been completed sooner had there not been rain. After all inspections were completed, our utility company "PG&E" took two weeks to give us an approval to operate, this was quicker than expected. Overall: I would recommend Axia Solar for the following reasons: Their sales team was very knowledgeable and professional. Their pricing was great! Their workmanship was professional and courteous. Their communication before and during the process has been great. I feel based on their overall performance so far, they will be there should any issues arise later.

I’m writing this review to warn others about my experience with Axia by Qcells. What began as a promising partnership quickly turned into months of frustration, broken promises, and near-total silence from their customer service team. I signed my contract with Axia in February 2025, and promptly began the process of obtaining HOA approval, which was granted shortly afterward based on Axia being the designated installer. Axia assured me that installation and commissioning would happen well before the end of the year, which was critical because I planned to qualify for the federal solar tax credit, requiring systems to be placed in service by December 31, 2025. However, since signing, I’ve faced chronic delays and a complete lack of proactive communication. Despite repeated follow-ups on my part, I received no clear timeline, no updates, and no scheduling confirmation. On July 7, 2025, I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and to this day—weeks later—I have not received a single response from Axia. Not even a basic acknowledgment. Now I find myself in an impossible position. Because of Axia’s ongoing delays and lack of responsiveness, and because I already went through the process of securing HOA approval tied specifically to Axia, I can no longer switch to another solar company and expect to meet the December 31st deadline for the tax credit. Axia’s inaction has put the entire project—and the associated financial incentives—at serious risk. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, not only from a customer service standpoint but also from a financial perspective. I expected better from a company backed by a major name like Qcells. Instead, I’ve encountered disorganization, lack of accountability, and poor treatment. Solar is a long-term investment. If you're considering Axia by Qcells, think twice. There are many other providers out there who understand that your time, goals, and money deserve to be respected.

I took the offer by Axia a Qcell company to go solar and get free battery. Right from signing up to installation and going live was super smooth. The workmanship and quality of product is awesome. The best part is that my entire house except HVAC and washer/dryer is running out of battery and my electricity bill is on an average $30 per month even with HVAC running since they offered the $ to $ energy by back. This deal has been a win-win scenario for me since it was not only the best deal, my property value has also increased significantly.

They provided more direct and complete information concerning their products and their installation team. Time spent examining our property with explanations of procedures and locations of wiring were reassuring. The labor staff worked quietly and cleaned up the work space. If I had any concerns or Questions I could call Hadley H She was right on top of things. If she needed to seek an answer she would call me back Promptly.

Full and open disclosure. Answered all questions. Manufactuered in USA . Advocates stayed on top of details and coordinated with installation contractor. Let me know what and when throughout the process up to and including final inspection. Insured coordinationswith local a energy provider and city giovernment. Just a little over two months from initial contact through installation and Permission To Operate. Very supportive every step of the way. Very cost effective!

Before purchasing, we interviewed 4 popular solar companies and then we finally called Axia Solar in Irvine, we chose this company because it is local, and it is a spin-off company from Qcells USA Corporation. Alex (the technical engineer) and Annabelle (the project manager) have been informing us every step of the whole process. They answered our phone calls, texts and emails on time and today the solar panels are up and running as we expected. We strongly recommend Axia Solar to everyone and we don’t think you can find any companies that can beat Axia Solar’s price.

We worked with Axia Solar on installing the solar panels on our roof and we're absolutely happy with the service and quality Axia Solar provided. Alex and Cory did an excellent job in the whole process and took care of everything for us in the proposal, contracting, permitting and installation process. They always replied to our messages and addressed our concerns promptly within the same day. Highly recommend!

Stay away! This review is for contract and cancelation only. I signed a contract and payed $1,000 down payment. I realized that is too big a project for me and I cancelled in 2 days. In contract it says you can cancel before the start of project (Project planned to start in 3-4 month). I contacted the sales person Stan S multiple times for refund. He kept saying he submitted to the finance department. After few weeks I got tired and filed a complaint to my credit card company. They are not answering to the Credit Card Company either. I have to wait 45 days. I have already spent more than $1,000 on my time. These are not honest people. I don’t know about the quality of their work, but I don’t trust them. You have other options.

Loved that Axia is all under one roof: Product, service and sales. Though their product is not rated the highest, I believe keeping everything Qcells in the long run will be helpful and supported without issue.

I purchased our solar system from Axia by Qcells after comparing four companies and I certainly made the right choice. The service has been outstanding as Alex explained the process in great detail and Hadley attends to every question and concern I have promptly. I won’t hesitate to refer friends to Axia for Qcells.

The whole team at a Axia Solar have been very professional, very responsive on time everyone from the sales team to my service rep have been very helpful on explaining the whole process and very communicative I highly recommend them

The installation process was efficient, fast, and handled extremely smoothly. Mike and his team were very responsive in answering any questions. Overall, a very pleasant experience and a very happy customer!! Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience with Axia solar. I did my due diligence researching solar & batteries & this company checked all the boxes. They also have amazing customer service. Jasper and Annabelle walked us through the whole process & we couldn't be happier.

My project coordinator Brandi R. was amazing! She communicated every step of the way and checked in with me periodically! She was very knowledgeable and great about getting back to me in a timely manner.
