They shared inaccurate information regarding the electric company they set up for meter services. Very inaccurate- I still have a monthly bill from the electric company (I was assured the electric bill stops within two months) and they do not store electric for me for winter months what my panels bring in each month I use or I loose. Very disappointing as I was told they would store up to a years-worth of electric for me.

They under estimated the amount of panels I needed. I told them that to be cost effective, I needed the system to cover my usage and for my bill to be as low as possible. As of today, I have both a loan payment and an electric bill. I would be paying less if I just stayed with electric. I have talked to them about getting more panels, but got the run around. I was finally told I should wait a year, so that they can measure my usage and accurately determine what I need.

L over the course of the project, I had multiple project managers and ones who was unresponsive for over a two week period via email, phone, and text. Incorrect installation by electricians that placed unnecessary holes in my home, which has to then be repaired. The total project was lengthy due to the changing of the project managers, over six months from the time I signed the contract until my system was active. Additionally, the panel installers did not follow the array agreed upon by when signing the contract with my salesman.

I took too long to follow up and get the drawings adjusted so building permit to get complete. Communication has been sporadic. The EnergyPro audit was scheduled, but not performed as scheduled and it took over a week to get it rescheduled. I was promised that the SunPro system would generate 100% of my energy needs and it has not performed up to expectations.

I've had a lot of issues while working with SunPro. I have some issues but they did great work but I still have a bunch of issues with what happening right now. The installation went smoothly, but they didn't get back to me about the problems with my battery and I have panels go out here and there. I wish they had a battery backup option.

I worked with SunPro’s engineers to over produce monthly to cover the usage in the 5 summer months in this Texas heat. My real complaint is service issues reported to service technician timelines. Customer service explains that they are short on service personnel and lag time is about 4 weeks for a call back let alone how much time from there to on site and repair. This is the second time I needed on site service and they delayed. The first time I was given the same 4 week service delay notice and I had to call in 3 times after the 4 weeks delay. If this is your business plan moving forward you’ll fail! This is going to affect your other sales of services. I purchased 54 panels to ensure that my system produces 2800 KW monthly on average. A couple of months during the summer it produced up to 3000 KW. In November it experienced an issue where production fell over 1500KW. Obviously it’s costing me money on top of using all of my banked credits. Do you need someone to help you put the correct personnel out to resolve these types of issues? It only takes a week to train certified electricians on solar. It must be your absorption of free service with the purchase. This only works with an understanding that budgeting comes from sales of units broken out by current installation cost and future service calls. Most likely figuring 1 call per 12 months. Happy customers produce future sales and greed produces failure ultimately. Everything has a cost and good practice of 100% customer satisfaction will always keep you selling My advice was free so fix my system! Forest H.

I purchased in May2022 ,after several calls to find out when will start happening. The phone calls are seldom answered leave your name and number , will get back to yo in 23 to 24 hours .I had gone 23 to 24 days and never heard. Communication is one of their problem with employees and customer . I am STILL not operational I will be paying to APS about $2,000 more than I should based on the average install of my friends .I have 2 people that were not typically ADT employees They were most apologetic and were real nice .My HOPE is after this boondoggle it works well I hope if I have an issue I will not wait 6 months .

I signed my contract with Sun Pro now ADT solar, July 2021 told would be a delay due to shortage of Tesla batteries, finally showed up with an Enphase battery. was told the ballon payment could be made by the 26% rebate I would receive that would be due at the two year mark. No rebate turned out was a tax credit now I am stuck with a 20k+ payment at end of 2023, now it is July 2022 still no solar hooked up install failed twice by state inspector, Electric company says still hasn't received the passed inspection paper work, have been moved through three different account managers 2nd one was very professional and kept me updated, third one didn't reach out at all till I called him and was told he'd address issues, that the salesman was let go so he'd have the district sale manager contact me about the rebate issue, has not happened been a month since I called him said he'd have people contact me, no one has called me, including him. I understand ADT hasn't had control of their new company very long but a few months and all I want is contact and updates and would like to know if there is any help they can offer on the rebate issue that was main reason I made this large purchase and now it is making a big life change to try and get that ballon payment made.

After a sales presentation, I decided to convert to a solar panel system. I was told by the salesperson that the system I would be getting would be sufficient to virtually eliminate my current electric bill. While waiting for the process to run its course I continue to do research and came up with some questions. I referred back to my paperwork that I had received and noticed that the information that had been discussed with me was not presents and said paperwork. I contacted by utility company and it turns out that there would only be a 60% reduction in my usage. Meaning that me being told that my solar design would virtually eliminate my bill was a lie. Upon discovering this, I called to cancel the project. In doing so I was connected with a woman by the name of laura. Laura attempted to try to fix the issue and was able to reduce the cost greatly and took a good deal of time explaining to me that which was omitted in the original presentation. I commend her for her efforts and her honesty and transparency. If I had been offered this from the beginning I might have considered continuing the process but because of the dishonesty of the original salesperson I still opted to cancel the project. If I had to rate my experience with each party individually Laura would receive five stars and my original sales person Jared would receive one.

The 2 stars is for their customer service which very poor. Everybody selling me the panels and getting them installed was fine. All the extras I got right away. I have 8 very dark leak spots on my living ceiling. I started trying to get the leaks fixed in Oct/Nov. Sunpro person finally came and said the leaks were under panels. My roofing company came out day after I called them, and looked at the leaks. Sunpro service man had the roofing man's phone number and vice versus because 2 rows of panels had to be taken down. Today is June 10th and finally got this date for the Sunpro. Called roofing company on Friday Afternoon and Tuesday of next they confirmed someone would be here on Thursday morning. It took 4 weeks of calling customer service once a week before a supervisor called me to make an appointment to have a work crew come to take panels. Now I find out that some of the leaks are from the panels. But I am really angry that I was not told by salesman or prior to install that putting panels on my roof of less than a year old would VOID my warranty on my 25 year warranty on my new metal roof. It costing me $2000.00 to have panels taken down for roofing man to fix their part of the leaks and reinstall the panels. I having the put up because I paid for them. If this happens again what to after you spend so much money???? Customer service it what builds a company. This why when my 38 year old house needed its 3rd roof I went with the same company that put my 2nd roof on as their customer service after install is AWESOME.

I invited ADT Solar to quote me on a solar panel system for my home. The representative was experienced and good to work with, however the asking price was way too high. A residential solar panel system in Illinois should cost around $3.20 per Watt. ADT Solar quoted more than double that. I did find other companies that quoted me in the $3.20 per Watt range, so please be very cautious of ADT Solar and the crazy expensive asking prices.

Customer support is the worst I have ever seen from a company. They make promises they don't keep and watch out for the double payments of full electric bills and solar payments months after the solar payments even after the panels get turned on. The field guyes are great on installation though. Still waiting on cash back 6 months after panels were turned on and noone wants to return calls, emails, texts. Would not recommend this company...go to Sunrun.

The ADT Solar salesperson was friendly and had a good understanding of the solar products. ADT had several "discounts" that made it seem like a used car salesperson. In the end and after four quotes I received for a very similar annual KWH, they were over 37% more expensive than the best quote with lower annual production and two fewer panels. I highly recommend getting at least three quotes.

They have a company policy that if there are more than three trees shading the southern exposure of the house they won't install solar. This may be one of the dumbest policies I have every heard of. Solar is great but trees are actually better because they absorb CARBON and offset the heat island effect. Get your act together SunPro.

Installation went fine they were done in a day. They had trouble with one part and told me to call them when it came in.It took till june to come in.The panels were working t ill the enphase would not show me anything, when I talked to Mr. R he was very helpful,but the system would not respond We tried alot but it did not help . Iasked if they could send someone out to install the new circuit board and reset the system. It has been since june 20th till now Oct 12th and they have made no attempt to fix the problem .This says alot about your service.

Matt Mogannam

System stopped working as intended 9 months after installation. They will not send out a technician for 4-6 weeks , meanwhile I am still paying my bill.
