I don’t believe I have ever written a review for a company or a product, but I wanted to give this review for Action Solar because they have done a wonderful job installing our solar panels and addressing any questions that we have. I was skeptical about the company because they are not located in my hometown of Grand Junction, Colorado, and I had not heard of them. My husband and I decided to take the step to hire Action Solar, and we are very happy that we did. They did what they said they would do, and the loan company that they connected us with is also working out well. It is wonderful to receive our utility bill and not have to pay for electricity. We feel good about our purchase because we are helping the environment and also benefiting ourselves since we truly expect our utility company’s electric rates to rise. The loan company that we work with has such a low interest rate that we are paying it down quickly. One of our neighbors also had Action Solar install solar panels on her home. She is also thrilled with the results.

Great company to work with. There are a lot of steps involved with getting solar installed and they walked me through everything perfectly. I had a lot of questions and they were able to provide me with everything I needed. Our system has now been installed for over a year and we haven’t had any issues.

Action Solar team did a phenomenal job installing my Solar panels from beginning to end they were Courteous, and there to answer all my questions It’s obvious they care about their customers because I had my solar panels installed August 2023 and there’s still calling me in the new year to make sure all is good. I appreciate that and all the perks that come with it I could go on and on, but I’ll let it be a surprise to you, you will not be disappointed :-)

The communication during the entire project was excellent. All the steps including design and permitting were completed as outlined on their timeline. The final installation was delayed by the problems encountered by the roofing company that installed the new roof. The crews doing the installation were great to work with and did an excellent job. We haven't received our first bill yet but the generation numbers we are able to track on the BP inverter monitor indicate that we will be able to bank enough kwh to enable us to power electric heaters and save on our natural gas bill.

So far so good. Their communication was great with me. Installed everything quickly and I was up and running. Still very open to help if any questions arise.

Pros: Project Solar & Action Solar provided a great price on a PV+battery backup system. I would rate design as sub-optimal, installation as 'ok', and 'degrading' with after installation support. Cons: It took more 'back and forth' to get the details of the installation close to what was required, and I wasn't kept up to date with what they were designing/submitting for building approval. Overall the job took longer than I expected (close to 9 months and I am still finding design issues). I purchased through 'Project Solar' and I don't feel they added much (anything) to the project. Details: 0) signed on in Dec. 2022 1) Original design submitted and approved by the county did not include system controller or battery BU. 2) Follow up design had the controller and batteries 250' from the required location 3) Schedule delay (Feb -> April) becuase they didn't account for trenching and frozen ground in Colorado. Panels installed in April. 4) The rest of the syetm was installed in early May but delays in getting 'as-built drawings' approved took until mid July for inspection. [Failed] 5) Final inspection was complete in late Aug. with Permission to operate from XCEL mid Sept. 6) Oct. I realized metering was not working correctly (the CT was installed incorrectly). Service got on it and it was corrected. 7) Realized they neglected to consider the v-drop/v-rise between the panels and the combiner box. Instead of <2% it was 4.3%.. Filed a report through the portal on 12/9/23 and a follow up email on 12/11/23. Called Action on 12/13/23 and Talon indicated he didn't know how issues were handled through the portal but he would forward to his manager. Overall: Sales (if you work through Project Solar) : Weak and will not really review your design with you and the 'installer'. Design: 'Action Solar' did not understand the requirements from the outset, and once they did they made mistakes (not minor). They even signed off a heat pump installation permit the county sent them by mistake and didn't notice. Installation: Apprentice drilled through the existing wiring in my garage and did not reconnect it correctly. Some wires (ground wires on 250' runs) are smaller gauge than the drawings required. The drawings were undersized to satrt with because of the wire length.

It was so easy to work with action Solar from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout the process. And I have seen my bill cut in half right away! Definitely would recommend Action Solar to anyone 👍

Sysrem install was profrssionally done and sastifactory. I like the centrol center box for tracking my energy prodection. Oberall. Servive was very good

Been with Action Solar for 5 months now so far everything works well, from planning to installation everyone is so helpful, and very professional. Highly recommended💖

It was a good experience. Having one person I could contact at any time for questions. Other people involved were all helpful and courteous. The panels are up and my electric bill went down to seven dollars.

They were great from beginning to end. And worked to meet what I requested.

They communicate well. Always let me know what and when things were going on.

Very efficient, thorough, competent and friendly, as well as reasonably priced.
