I enjoyed the packages that DISH offers. They have more flexible packages in comparison to Directv. My biggest problem is the price. DISH is priced way too high to compete with Direct. If the price point would drop they would be a much better choice.

The service guys who came out were always very friendly. Phone customer service was mediocre. Living towards the country the service could be spotty sometimes and the internet was very slow. High priced for what you get for sure, most good things were extra.

I have been with dish networks for about 12 years and they do not have any specials for me. They told me I ran out of specials and that I have the best deals at $70.00 a month for my current services. I believe since I've been a good customer for all these years my bill should be lower then what it is. This is just my opinion.

Anytime you will need to get in contact with customer service, be expected to wait a long time. Their customer service department is poor. The quality of TV is poor in bad weather conditions and at times poor with light rain.

I had Dish for about 3 years. I'd try to cut programming to reduce my bill. But certain items had to be paid for in order to receive others. It was not an a la carte style choice. So I had to pay for things I didn't want in order to have an HD DVR.

Dish Network is great. Great quality of shows and entertainment, and dependable equipment. LOVE the hopper feature. The only issue I have is the loss of picture during heavy storms, but that's few and far between.

We had DISH for many years, and it was our favorite cable provider. In the end, we had to cancel because of cost and eliminated cable all together. I liked the simplicity of the guide and it was easy to navigate around on.

Finally cut the cord on satellite tv! After the first 3 months, the price kept going up, and we weren’t watching half of the channels anyways. The few channels we did watch were not gonna be offered on dish any longer. Easy decision, really. Streaming is the way to go!

Dish has served me mostly well. It doesn't work in the rain and the quality of the HD video is not as good as that of cable but it is significantly cheaper. Channel offerings are more than satisfactory.

I would not recommend dish network to my friends or family because I wasn’t very pleased with my experience. Whenever there was a storm/rain, our connection would go out and we wouldn’t be able to fix it and the customer service wasn’t very helpful. We also didn’t have access to certain shows that we enjoyed so we switched. I will not be purchasing a service from this company again.

I was a customer of dish, terrible service in the winter time.. when the dish got cover by snow it dies out, they installed the dish on the roof, which i told them we get alot of snow, but the tech said it wont be any problems with how he was installing it... well sure enough, winter comes around and i had to get up there during every snow storm and clean it off for it to work... JUNK!!

A door-to-door Dish guy came by and sold me on their service. He claimed I had a 1 year price lock and could cancel at any time without any charges (all I had to do was simply return their equipment). 3 months and my bill jumped in price by A LOT. I called customer service and they wouldn't do anything to help me. I'm looking at switching to another provider and when I called to cancel I was informed it would be several hundred dollars to cancel. Also they're in a squabble with HBO and without warning those channels disappeared. I guess this falls under "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".

Didn't love Dish when they were our Satellite TV provider. It seemed like we had many outages where we missed watching things live or the programs recorded on DVR were messed up. Their price seemed a bit high as well for the services provided.

My experience with Dish was negative from the beginning. I didn't feel that I got the service that they had advertised/promised. Everything felt like an up-sale to get what I originally thought was part of the advertised package. I ended the service immediately once my contract was up. Returning equipment only made my experience worse. I would not recommend Dish to prospective customers.

i use to really like dish but since they changed there packages i recommend to go with a different cable company they took away some of my channels and gave me a few that i don't even watch an raised my bill without even giving me a choice of what i wanted and now if i wanted the channels i use to pay less for i need to get like there premium package no thanks im good you guys really had me going there...

The website explains poorly what is included with each level package, especially with what is included with sports channels. Customer service help is poor, but when we are able to speak to a supervisor we have received better help from customer service.

Dish Network was a satellite service for several years until the price went up to high and we had to switch to get a lower price. The service is good but as with all satellite service they raise the prices after a time and you have to call in to find specials and thats a pain.
