Wellness Options
Owners can choose between a Routine or Advance Wellness Plan. The Routine Wellness Care Coverage costs $10/month ($120 a year), while the Advanced Wellness Care Coverage costs $25/month ($300 a year). Members can add a wellness care plan to cover annual checkups, vaccines, and tests, microchips, or spaying/neutering. Flea/heartworm preventive medication and an annual dental cleaning are covered on the Advance Wellness option.

Enrollment with PetPremium comes with the reassurance of a 30-day full refund guarantee. As long as customers don't receive any reimbursements for claims in the first 30 days of their policy, they can cancel it for a full refund in that period.
Waiting Period
The waiting period for illness coverage is somewhat average (30 days), but the good news here is that there is only a one-day waiting period for accident and wellness coverage. Any costs associated with the treatment, diagnosis, or surgery for ligament or knee conditions that occur during the first 12-month policy period are not covered.
