Cat and Dog Insurance

There are four available plans for cats and dogs. Members can choose from the following plans:

Extra:

• Veterinary Fees
• Illness and Accidents
• $3,000 per policy term
• Deductible Options: $100 or $250

Classic:

• Veterinary Fees
• Illness and Accidents
• $5,000 per policy term
• Deductible Options: $100, $250, or $500

Super:

• Veterinary Fees
• Illness and Accidents
• $10,000 per policy term
• Deductible Options: $100, $250, $500, or $1,000

Champion:

• Veterinary Fees
• Illness and Accidents
• $20,000 per policy term
• Deductible Options: $100, $250, $500, or $1,000

20% Co-Insurance and 80% Coverage

Dog owners can enroll puppies as young as 8 weeks until their 10th birthday. Cat owners can enroll their kittens at 8 weeks old until their 12th birthday. 

Members can also select from the additional benefits*: No deductible and no co-insurance

• Boarding Kennel Fees: $500 per incident
• Lost Pet Recovery Costs: $500 per incident
• Euthanasia and Cremation: $200
• Trip Cancellation: $500 per incident
• Additional Living Expenses: $500 per incident
• Accidental Death: $1,000

There is only a 1-day waiting period for accidents but the illness coverage waiting period depends on the coverage level:

Pet Protection Services

24PetWatch offers members the choice between two lost pet protection plans to support their customer's needs.

Lifetime Protection Membership: Members have access to recovery specialists who are available 24/7, 24PetMedAlert, 1 year of free access to a Vet Helpline, a $40 gift card to Rover.com, 5-star pet sitters and dog walking network, and unlimited access to update an account information by phone or online. 

Annual Membership: The Annual Membership gives members access to recovery specialists who are available 24/7 and members can update their account information by phone or online as many times as they need. 

If a pet goes missing, 24PetWatch will have its recovery specialists, check more than 1,000 Animals Welfare Organization databases to identify a pet via their unique microchip number. 

Wellness Coverage

24PetWatch offers a wellness coverage package that can be added to any dog or cat pet insurance plans, starting out at just $10 a month. Wellness coverage takes care of all the daily or annual routine care checkups and treatments. There is also an Advanced Wellness packages, that starts out at $25, and offers comprehensive benefits for cats and dogs, including dental cleanings and flea medication.

Age Limit

Many other pet insurance companies don’t restrict the enrollment age as much as 24PetWatch. Some companies boast no age limits, while others allow pets up to 20 years old. 

Dogs can be enrolled anywhere from 8 weeks to 10 years of age. 

Cats can be enrolled as young as 8 weeks of age to 12 years of age.

While the Lost Pet Recovery service is open 24/7 all year round, policyholders will have to call with any insurance policy questions within the available times. 24 PetWatch is open from:
