The Good

  • Prorated Fees
  • Customer Service
  • Installment Loans
  • Paper Copies

Prorated Fees

When consumers borrow an installment loan from ArrowheadAdvance, they only have to pay fees for the number of days they keep the loan. So they are not paying any extra interest, even if they pay off the loan early.

Those who borrow from ArrowheadAdvance can make regular payments or pay off their loan at any time, with no prepayment penalty.

Customer Service

Unlike many online lenders, customer service is available with ArrowheadAdvance via phone and live chat at arrowheadadvance.com. The website even includes the local tribal customer service hotline as a secondary phone contact.

Installment Loans

These consumer installment loans are available to people with bad credit. Hence, they have a high annual percentage rate of interest (APR). On the other hand, interest for these loans is less than traditional payday loans. Because borrowers have longer to repay the loan.

Installment loans are still an expensive form of credit, but they're going to cost consumers less than a payday loan, in general. It all depends on how consumers plan to pay it back and the repayment terms that are set in place.

Paper Copies

Arrowhead loan customers can get a paper copy easily of their loan documents. Customers can print a paper copy from their account or they can request paper copies by email and ArrowheadAdvance will provide them.

The Bad

  • Application and Vetting Process
  • Loan Availability

Application and Vetting Process

All lenders have their own underwriting process and require differing forms of verification.

When consumers apply for a loan with ArrowheadAdvance, they fill out a quick form online, but will also need to talk to a loan representative soon after they finish submitting the loan application.

Loan applicants need to provide a phone number where they can easily be reached.

This may dissuade some consumers from trying to work with this lender, if they don't have easy phone access or reliable, ongoing phone service where they can easily be reached.

Loan Availability

Consumers in some states might not be eligible for a loan.

Arrowhead Advance offers online installment loans to people residing in 29 states. Consumers who live in the following places will need to choose another lender:

The Bottom Line

ArrowheadAdvance is an online lender that offers bad credit installment loans to residents of 29 states. The application process includes a phone chat with customer reps to verify details during the underwriting process.

Applicants who get approved for a loan by ArrowheadAdvance can potentially receive funds in their bank account within about one business day.

Short-term installment loans are a more forgiving form of credit than a standard payday loan because you aren't required to pay back the loan in one lump sum. You have a longer time period with a predetermined number of installments to make until payoff.

As for ArrowheadAdvance, from the information the company makes available, it's easy to draw positive conclusions. However, before we fully recommend this lender, we need to get more feedback from actual customers.

$750 @ over 700% interest rate is NOT worth a repayment plan of $230 bi-weekly. You can compare the numbers I have provided with the numbers you plug into their website application. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS TYPE OF LOAN AS THIS IS EXTREMELY COSTLY. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS TYPE OF LOAN AS THIS IS EXTREMELY COSTLY. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS TYPE OF LOAN AS THIS IS EXTREMELY COSTLY.

Good evening consumers, First let me say the customer service Jose M was very professional and with quick responses. I appreciate that. However, the bigger problem is I was told in an email that I was approved. Not a preapproval letter, but the approved application. And I received it more than once. Only to be told that It was denied. It doesn't make sense to me, but I think it is a blessing in disguise because for $450, I would have to pay back ALMOST $1900!!! Every loan that I have gotten has been paid back and before time, so yea it's counted as another blessing this time. And a family member is going to give me the money needed for my emergency so another blessing!! And I hope that my request for ":Being solicited is taken care of. Warmest regards, Ms. Dodged the bullet!!

The interest rate and repayment terms are predatory, even in an emergency situation for someone with bad credit.

Do NOT get a loan through them! You’re better off going to checksmart and that says A LOT! for a 250 dollar loan I was going to have to pay back 950 dollars. What a joke! Absolutely no way in hell I would even consider doing that even on my brokest day!
