So happy about the lifetime warranty. Took some time to get scheduled, but the rep showed up on time and it only took 10 minutes to pop the window out and put in a new one. Like Safelite. Tee Hee.

In the process of the technician trying to take out my window, he scratched up the paint on the inside casing of the wall. I was not happy about the situation but did not notice it until he left.

They were called to order a window handle and ascertain color of the original windows/doors. The handle is being shipped free and the the color type was given.

Had new window installed in December started leaking this spring called couldn’t get an apt to fix it for about 7 weeks then you called on THE day that you were supposed to come fix it to cancel because you didn’t realize it would be a 2 person job but lucky for me you had and opening spot the next Friday between 1:30 and 3:30 so made arrangements to be home then the doorbell rings at 11:30 and it’s milguard and only my daughter is home she was over 18 and let them in. So they calk the window on the outside in less then 5 minutes and leave! Turns out that didn’t need 2 people at all!!! Nice person on the phone but Terrible customer service!!! This window has been a problem for 15 years!! Tired of the run around

My house was built in 1997 and with just one phone call I was sent the part I needed to get my locking mechanism working again. The Lifetime warranty is awesome.

The staff scheduled an appointment for me for May 2nd to have a window replaced, after it exploded. They didn't show up and when I called a staff person told me I never had an appointment scheduled on May 2nd but now I am scheduled for May 11th. On May 11th, after they were suppose to already be at my home, they again cacelled. When I called to complain, I was told by a supervisor they were only replacing my window for goodwill and I should be happy they are coming at all. Finally, today, May 22nd, they arrived and were efficient and put the window in. However, they parked their trucks in front of my garage cans so the truck could not empty them. I am happy to be through dealing with your office and company. I can only hope, in my new house, I don't have your windows and don't have to worry about them exploding.

The sliding panel of my window was broken when it was received in October of 2017. It took Milgard until MARCH 2018 to replace the panel. This 5 month wait was unreasonable. A new panel should have been shipped out immediately. A “repair” date was set for December, then changed to January, which was then reassigned to March. I did not feel cared for with regard to this warranty issue. Milgard makes great products, but their customer service is abominable.

Huge fiberglass windows ordered for new construction. One came with a bad seal, another is questionable. A few without bark color on mulled windows center. They came without film to protect them. Not what I expected for Millard and the money spent.

The sliding glass was installed two months ago, the quality of the Milgard door is not of high quality the lock gear teeth broke off, part suppose to be on order, have not heard from the installer. the door doesn't glide easily. if feels as if there are humps in the lower rail, and catches intermittently.

Life time warranty on the purchase, but now I’m 8 years into the purchase and I have 13 single hung windows that won’t remain up. One that has lost the seal. Just started the warranty process for the second time. They came once already and fixed the larger dozen windows.

We built a new custom home 20 plus years ago. We wanted the top quality everything. A local company was a Milgard company and they installed our windows. Within in a few years, we had whilising noises when the wind blew. A factory rep was out and made a temporary fix. The problem was never satisfactorily solved. I will say the window had life time guarantee and twice windows that had lost the seal have been replaced at not charge.

They did a great job replacing a couple windows/sliding glass door when we moved in. The new slider actually had streaks between the 2 pains of glass and they came out and replaced it free of charge.

Had our windows replaced over 10 years ago and they are still going strong. Have had no problems or issues with functionality or longevity. The kids did break one several years ago and a quick call to the company and our information was located and a repair team was dispatched two days later to fix the window. Hassle free and friendly service

Extremely disappointed with Milgard’s warranty support. I purchased their windows and one has been inoperable since installation. Despite multiple attempts, their service team keeps making me repeat the same information without ever confirming a service visit. The process has been frustrating and unhelpful. It’s unacceptable that Milgard won’t stand behind their own product.

Total lack of accountability for shipping 3 out of 4 defective windows from Portland factory that had to be completely taken apart & rebuilt by a technician. Technician declined to provide a service report - told me Milgard would forward it if I made a request - Lauren said Milgard doesn’t share service reports publicly. Requested acknowledgment that issued were factory related as technician indicated. Sent an email with no acceptance of Milgard’s responsibility for the problem.

Where do i start? your tech showed up un prepared, made a mess and didnt clean. door will lock now just not unlock. tech used putty knife to pry up unit in door causing it to fail. so my customer has an expensive door on the lake that has now failed glass and a non working lock. to say my customer is not happy would be a gross understatement. his opinion of milgard quality and service is that they are terrible. i sell milgard and sell them as an upper end window, my confidence in your product is pretty low also.
