I remodeled my home 10 years ago, installing new wood clad Milgard windows throughout. I recently noticed moisture in one of my living room window panels. I immediately contacted Milgard service through their website, completed the brief service request and within a few short days received a service date. The technician arrived right on time. He inspected and measured the panel for replacement. Shortly thereafter, I received another email scheduling the installation appointment. The pleasant service technician again arrived right on time and quickly installed a new panel replacement. The area was left clean and the window looks great! I can't imagine how the whole process could have been better. Great Job! Thank you!

Due to a late in the year installation of new windows, we did not try to open our bedroom windows until late April. One of the casement windows started to fall out of the frame as it was opened. We called the contractor who installed them 3 times and he never returned our calls. We then contacted Milgard, who routed our service request to our area and set up an appointment. The Milgard service man showed up early and took care of the problem in less than 5 minutes. He also took care of another installer error in just a few minutes. These are beautiful windows and the problems were in the installation, not in the manufacturing. The Milgard rep was congenial and efficient.

We purchased skylights from Milgard for our home in the 90's and most recently discovered one was leaking and another the seal had broken. I contacted Milgard about the repair, even though they do not manufacture skylights any longer they offered to replace them under their lifetime warranty. This was a painless process, they provided me a date for the replacement and showed up exactly when they said they would. I'm always sceptical of "lifetime warranty" offers but Milgard truly stands behind their commitments. I would highly recommend Milgard to anyone considering purchasing new windows without reservation.

Lots of Milgard inefficiency and time to get my two windows replaced. I am the original owner and I required two windows replaced that had failed. I submitted a claim and Milgard arrived a couple months later to replace the windows. One of the two windows was not correct so the service tech placed an order for another. Couple months later, the tech arrived again but window was still not correctly made. Couple months later, tech arrived with correct window and job was finished. I tech seemed to do a good job. I fault Milgard for making the incorrect windows.

First of all, we LOVE Milgard. They have been supportive in every way since we bought our windows over 25 years ago. The guys who came to replace our windows under warranty assured us that they would clean the windows after the installation. We were left with a dirty window in a location where it is not safe for us to clean it as well as others.

My rating is for the whole process of having two window panes replaced under warranty. I give Norm who came today to replace the windows 5 stars. He was friendly, professional, and provided excellent service. But, it’s get these windows replaced I filled out an impersonal online form, I couldn’t just call my local rep as I had done in the past. Even with the automated form, Norm was sent two extra window panes beyond the two that I requested. On top of that, I was told the windows would be shipped to Bozeman on June 5. I After a month, I tried to find the status on the Milgard website. I had a case number but there seemed to be no way to use it to get any status or review the form. I only just received an automated call a couple of days ago telling me when my appointment was (I had the option of rescheduling). It is a miracle I even picked up the phone since it was an unknown number. Before my rep would call and I would recognize who the call came from. I have had numerous Milgard windows in my house replaced under warranty. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had to get that done. The personal touch is gone and the misordering would not have happened if I had just spoken directly to my rep.

Very courteous installers. Showed up when they said they would, fixed the broken window glass, no muss, no fuss. Very happy with my Milgard windows in my new (five year old) house. I've used them before in remodel situations and will use them again. Repairman commented about how much he liked my house, and even asked if I was thinking of selling it, because he was interested.

A little confusion getting my service scheduled because they said my sales order didn't have any doors on it, just windows. Apparently they was able to find the doors on my sales order and scheduled the service and the tech showed up on time, did a very professional job and only took him 15-20 minutes due to having to remove and replace the fragile trim work on the interior of the door. Overall, an excellent job. Thank you Milgard

Thirty two years ago Milgard installed beautiful lifetime guaranteed windows throughout our newly constructed house on the Oregon Coast. I’m now ninety-eight years old and still living in the same house. I’m very pleased to attest that Milgard has honored their guarantee. Just this past year they’ve professionally, timely, and courteously replaced free of all labor and material cost the windows and door-walls facing the rugged northwest and southwest Pacific Ocean wet and windy climate. Proud to say the eastern facing windows are still in amazingly good shape. Best investment ever!

I cannot say enough good about this company. The windows cut my electric bills substantially from the first month they were installed 20 years ago. They came with a lifetime guarantee. Recently they started showing signs of wear. Milgard honored the warranty and replaced a number of windows free of charge. Good quality windows, which - for the most part - function well for many years. The service visit to replace one of the newer windows was quick, taking maybe 15 minutes from start to finish. The tech was courteous and had a sense of humor. If I were to change anything, it would be to extend the warranty from the installing owner to subsequent owner. We bought our house 15 years ago. All windows have been replaced with Milgard Windows by the previous owners; I only installed two new Milgard windows (one of them failed and was replaced during this visit). But the warranty on the windows installed by the previous owners does not extend to us. I wish Milgard could extend the warranty to us, if not in full, then at least 50% of the cost of repairs, for example. Incidentally, when I had the two new windows installed, I asked the sales person if Milgard would extend the warranty on existing windows to us and he said yes. I suppose this information was not put in any written form, however, because - on my subsequent calls - other salespersons vehemently denied this.

They stand behind their product, which is very good, and service it as promised. Millard just replaced the glass in a sliding door at our house on the Oregon beach, and did so when it was promised. The slider was at least 26 years old. Service people were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient . We have used Milgard in our last two houses and wouldn’t trade for any other company.

Emails with scheduler/representative (Allison) were good. she instructed me where to get the applicable number for the window being replaced. We were given a dte for our appointment, and 2 days before the appointment date we were emailed with a specific time window for the appointment. Our installer (Robert) arrived within the specified timeline, took our old window out, and installed our new window within about 20-256 minutes, Very efficient, and very knowledgeable about what hee was doing!

I have had a great working experience with Milgard over the years. My home was newly built with all Milgard windows, and the lifetime warranty has been a convenient and well-used feature of the brand. In the nine years I have owned my home, I have had three repairs on my windows, and each time Milgard has honored the warranty, and performed the repairs at no cost to me. In these days of higher prices and uncertainty, it's nice to see a corporate manufacturer stand behind their products, the way that Milgard does.

The technician did an absolutely great job of replacing three windows that had the seals break. He was careful, efficient and cleaned up nicely. We have had Milgard windows in three of our four custom homes, and they are great! The one house we did not, we had nothing but problems and leaks into the inside of the house. The Milgard lifetime warranty is the best available on the market.

We purchased 5 double pane windows from Milgard several years ago to replace 5 single-pane original install windows. So glad we did as these have helped in keeping our cooling costs down here in Arid-zona. The are low-e windows that slide side to side and they are as new as the day we installed them. The quality of the vinyl frames has fended off the heat and dryness of our weather here. I highly recommend Milgard Windows any day and the prices can't be beat. You won't regret purchasing Milgard Windows.

I had issues with two windows, nearly ten years old, at my house. I called Milgard and a very nice lady had me measure the windows and set up an appointment to replace them. The installer arrived on the scheduled date and time. He explained what he intended to do and then replaced the glass.He was obviously very efficient and experienced in resolving this type of issue. He was very pleasant, friendly and respectful of my property. I’AM EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITHE ENTIRE PROCESS FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MILGARDS’S CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We replaced our 1950s aluminum frame, single pane, “crank open” windows with Milgard Tuscany windows nearly twelve years ago, and we have been very happy with them. The glides and latching mechanisms are very good, and the glass UV coating and construction has reduced heat loss, noise, and furniture fading. Only two panes have lost their seal, and it was easy to get them replaced at no charge.

Our home is 21 years old and we are the original owners. We had two windows for which the seals had failed. We found the order number codes, measured the two windows and filled out the claim form. Milgard set up the appointment and the repair tech showed up and replaced the two panes within a half hour. He did a terrific job and we are totally satisfied. The 2 men who serviced my window came earlier than expected (had a cancellation) and were experienced, friendly, and efficient. I am so pleased with the work they performed. We had some problems with our windows and patio door that were installed several years ago, and they promptly fixed them. It's nice to know that some company takes pride in the products that they manufacture sell and other people install. we had our windows installed about 15yr ago. noticed this winter that one had a bad seal as there was a fog in between the glass. called, taked to a very nice young lady who set up an appointment for it to be replaced. this morning right on schedule, a technician showed up and replaced the bad pane. he was very nice, very effecent, just an awesome experience. thanks Milgard for standing by your products and making it so easy to take care of the problem. you customer service is AWESOME!!!

Overall, I was highly satisfied with my experience with Milgard. On the positive side, once my appointment date was set I received a phone call two days in advance to confirm my appointment and to tell me the 2-hour time period I could expect the technician. Serge arrived during the early part of the time block, and accomplished the task very quickly and efficiently. He made sure he took care of all of the issues I was having with my windows before he left. He was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the glass unit he brought to replace my scratched window also had a small scratch in it. He offered me two options: take the new unit back and reorder, or replace the glass and told me I could always replace it later if it bothered me after living with it. I opted to keep the new glass unit because it was a huge improvement over the original glass. I appreciate the fact that he gave me options. The only other negative I experienced was getting the appointment scheduled. I completely understand how busy the service department is, but after submitting my service request and receiving a confirmation email with a case number, I waited quite a few weeks for someone to call or email with an appointment date (the email said I would hear from someone in about 10 days or less). I finally had to call the service department myself. The person in the service department got me scheduled and was very helpful. I didn't mind waiting another month or more for the appointment, as long as it was scheduled. I love my Milgard windows and plan to order more in the near future when we remodel our basement!

I have been purchasing Milgard windows and doors through Truax Builders Supply since the mid 1990's and have always been happy with them. When I needed service. Milgard was here to take care of any problem. Today they replaced rollers on a slider door that was installed in 1998 and even repaired an opening in the screen. The guys were just great!

The service person was polite and efficient. We were so happy to work with him. We felt safe and his knowledge and skills were also appreciated. He spoke well of Milgard as a company and represented your product and your company in an excellent fashion. I thought the response time by the company to get service initially was way too slow, that is not a reflection of your service person but rather adminstration. In addition, for the quality expensive product that Milgard is, I would have expected that the two screens that we are missing from the original order would have been delivered to us a month ago. Again, not a reflection of your service person who was excellent. We had one screen arrive damaged and we were short one screen. It would be nice if Milgard would send us those screens. At the very least if someone called us and assured us that we will actually get screens sometime in the future.
