I never expected to be able to say anything good about movers after all that happened on the journey to CT. But seriously, these guys are awesome. Everything discussed, as well as pricing and policies, is available on their website. They showed there promptly, were polite and prepared, and finished the job in half the time we had anticipated. I looked for indications of damage to our furniture after they left, but I didn't discover any, so I'm going to believe they were careful. To avoid confrontation with the people responsible for bringing us here, please turn around. I would cheerfully refer them to anybody who asked, and if we ever had to move again (which we better not do since I'm sick of it), they would be the only movers I would really consider using.

I hired them for overseas relocation, and everything has gone smoothly. The service we got from our movers in the UT was totally up-to-the-mark. Our movers did a lit work, and the operations staff was proficient and attentive. They told me about their plans of packing and wrapping my double bed with a matching dresser and footrest. Due to some urgent work, I had to delay my move a day, and they agreed on it and got in touch with me on short notice because our relocation date came up unexpectedly. That's brilliant work. The movers helped with packing, particularly with covering and moving the furniture.

What a brilliant bunch of people Safeway Moving System contains. Their customer dealing strikes you at first and then talking of their affordable rates and the quality of both the services and their materials makes it a wholesome experience. If you need an all-in-one package for moving Safeway Moving System should be your choice. My belongings contained some very expensive stuff in them taking care of them and making sure that nothing gets a single scratch on them was not child's play. I must say the value they give their customers and the respective bond they share among themselves is the key to their success. Growing on this fast is wholly their teamwork and hard work. Incredible! I can't say enough the best things about the service I received from Safeway Moving System. In addition to offering far cheaper costs than rivals, they also excelled in customer service. The company is reliable, and Jeffrey and his group are well-trained. They have extensive knowledge and experience in their field, making them experts from a professional aspect. We had a lot of stuff, and they filled the Uphaul and maximized storage capacity to store a lot of luggage and ensure the safety of every item. Also, they were quite pleasant to deal with, polite, and diligent. After the movers completed the relocation, the manager called us after the move to get feedback, and I gave them five stars because they deserved it. When we received the final estimate, which was the same as the initial move, I was amazed. The company also offered the facility to pay the bill online, which was also a huge facility for customers. It's not been easy to move, but you managed so well.

Thanks for the excellent service I received from your company's two delivery men. On a Saturday, Brian and Terry from your company delivered a projector to my house in IA. Despite the freezing that left my driveway covered in ice (which I greatly appreciated, the last thing I wanted was a stranded delivery truck in my driveway), The heavy pieces of furniture were delivered to my back door after being dragged up my roughly 350-foot driveway. In the past five years, I've used the Safeway Moving System team at least six times, and no matter how difficult I thought the situation would be, they always made it incredibly simple and quick for me. Both Stephen and the rest of the team are exceptional. They have always been very careful with my belongings and completed everything on time and correctly. Stephen guided arranging furniture to maximize space when I put some things in storage and made sure I left the door to a clothes washer I was holding open to avoid dampness so my belongings would stay clean and secure. The owner is always welcoming and helpful, and the team is also excellent.

Safeway Moving System did brilliant work. During the move, there was no damage; I never expected perfection. This stuff was incredibly bulky and heavy. It was moved quickly, and they even took care of the paint. I am an artist; I paint my heart out on canvas and fill it with love and colors. The paintings have my heart, and I had to deliver them to the clients, but all declined when I described the massive size and weight. Like always Safeway Moving System was there to help me out. At first, I was annoyed by them always asking to call Safeway Moving System for the smallest or even in-house moves but then I saw them completing a move under my inspection, Whoa! Their obsession was so worthwhile. These boys are amazingly talented and passionate about their work. Seeing them lifting furniture loads from curvy surfaces with care and taking care of tiny details made inspired me to the next level. The whole move from MO to NY took me around 5 hours because of them which was another shocking thing to see, and the best part was their charges, I was not expecting such economical rates in times like today. We've already used Safeway Moving System three times, and every time they were great. It was easy the first time he moved, but the second and third times were huge projects. Half of her things had to be shipped to a new apartment in one city, and the other half had to be shipped to a new apartment in another city. We kept some other things to give to charity. The crew was very talkative, and I enjoyed being with them. I admire their helpful, knowledgeable, efficient work and good outcomes at the end. The movers were efficient and careful in completing our move. The service was excellent in every way! The initial abode was an apartment on the third floor of a building without a lift, but the mood was bright and welcoming regardless of the weather (it was +30 degrees outdoors). We found the previous owner's washing machine, which he had left behind in the new home, missing from its current location after the Safeway Moving System boys had moved in. It was my first professional relocation. David reply was prompt and to the point. He was good at calculating the number of laborers and hours needed to complete the task. He always responded to answer all my questions. When purchasing a house, it is a relief that dates may change significantly because the original payment required to retain the date was reasonable. The men arrived on time for the move and were eager to start. Before this, I had to load the truck by myself each time I moved, which was 10 times. David and his crew loaded this 26-foot truck professionally, safely, and to my satisfaction, although I am quite fussy and irritated. My wife was in charge of organizing the duties and answering questions regarding the order of importance and the men fully understood and acknowledged her concerns. I lived down in SC, where barely any mover came, it is away from the city life so fewer people visit this place and so lesser moving firms to help. I called several companies and tried to convince but none of them agreed to help me move or were asking for extra money which I couldn’t afford. I finally tried Safeway Moving System and they agreed to help seeing how desperate I was for help. They even didn’t ask for any extra or hidden charges. The way to SC is steep and it’s hard to reach there but they managed to reach there on time, my move was a whole example of hassle-free and smooth work. I planned to shift from UT, and move to IL, being alone in the state having no one to help, no family or friends. I knew Safeway Moving System from a very long time ago when I shifted into this apartment at that time, they were the ones who helped and were the only affordable option. For that reason, as I had this exceptional move with them, they were the only movers in my mind. I was relaxed being familiar with their work. This time their services got even better than they were but their rates were still economical comparatively. They were right on time, knocked on my door at exactly 5 pm as anticipated, Alexander already knew my place because he came over before for an estimation of the required stuff. The whole process was undergoing smoothly, my possession was carefully handled as if they belong to the movers themselves and all my delicate stuff was beautifully wrapped. They are not Safeway Moving System; they are bomb dot com to me; these dudes know how to cover a move like champs; from start to end, our move went so smoothly that it blew my mind off; we faced a tiny issue regarding their arrival they got a bit late to reach my pickup location, but they covered it and loaded my stuff like pros in no time, they were all over my broken sofa set makin sure nothing more than this happens to it. My parents recently retired and moved to Florida. They set up a moving company to help them get all their items down there so they could start to relax and enjoy their well-earned retirement. Unfortunately, the "company" they decided to use ended up being just a scam. The day of their move my folks were frantically calling as no one showed to do the move. They had given a deposit of $1500 and no one came! Their house was sold and they had to be out within the next several days. My mother called me crying. This is when I stepped in and called Safeway (as recommended to me by a coworker). Not only did were they able to accommodate my parents, but they were also so kind and understanding along the way. Had a move scheduled from WA to NY. Honestly I was very afraid of using a moving company because of the terrible reviews I have read about other companies. The reputation the movers where given was a true horror story. Now with Safeway Moving, I have to say their service, expertise, transparency and customer service was hands down the best I could ever ask for! Their were no hidden fees the price I got was the price I was given at time of pick up and delivery and must I say the packing they did on my items was the best I could ask for! Brandon my relocation specialist was absolutely the best I could ask for. Thank you Safeway for putting up with me lol I truly appreciate the honesty and great work you guys did for me and my family. So my representatives name was Zachary, he was so helpful from start to finish, he pretty much held our hand because this was our first time doing a long distance move. I saw how they were rank #1 for accurate pricing, because I’m sure we’ve all heard those stories of the movers showing up and charging $1,000s of dollars more. Not to get off topic too quick but a good friend of mine did a long distance move a few years back and he didn’t look into the company that he was hiring. He put down a deposit the day he book the move and then come pick up day they demanded an extra $3,500 more dollars or they won’t take the furniture. His lease ended that day and he was stuck on the side of the road with everything he owned because he didn’t have the additional money to pay for it. That’s why it was so important for me to choose Safeway. Zachary and I went over item by item on the phone and made an inventory so I was able to get accurate pricing. Come pick-up day, lo and behold, the price was exactly what they said it would be. And as far as the move itself, they couldn’t have done a better job handling the furniture. I never write reviews lol. So yeah, check them out if you’re looking for a company to hire for a long-distance move!

I reserved my move with Safeway for my move from California to Florida recently and they were super accommodating to all of our family's needs. They are professional, movers wore masked and they took exceptional care of my items. Also my Relocation expert Will R was so knowledgeable and patient, i never moved that distance so i had NO idea what to do but he took his time to provide an accurate quote and answered every question i had no matter how many times i emailed him. Let me start with saying.. I have a lot of furniture (chairs, lamps, side tables, etc.) and small (fragile) objects. As an interior designer, I have a full apartment and studio/office. Not to toot my own horn but.. most is designer and its all very special to me. Choosing a mover can be super intimidating/frustrating. After calling several companies and getting low ball prices to lock me in, with lots of "pricing will be determined once the truck is actually packed", I didn't want to take the risk. Safeway was able to give me straightforward pricing, realistic transport time, and answer all my "worst case scenario" questions.

Safeway was a real helping hand. Our move was planned a month in advanced with some other company. That other company ended up canceling on us last minute. My wife and I were so stressed and upset, not only did they cancel, they did not return the $700 deposit without a fight. Regardless, Safeway was initially our second choice before we elected for a scammer. We reached out to Safeway and Gerard was so gracious and helpful over the phone. He eased our minds right away. I wish we stuck with Gerard and Safeway initially but alas we went for a cheaper price. That said, Safeway came the next day and moved us out of our Baltimore apartment and delivered our items to New York the very same day. I can not thank them enough. I recently moved to New Jersey and used Safeway moving as my coordinator. They were a pleasant team to work with. They helped organize my move in a quick and easy fashion. I moved from Chicago and took on a new role in my company. Lucky for me, my company covered my cost to move. Safeway was the only company I found to work with easily to facilitate the funds to be transferred without any strange requests. I had booked with another mover and my company had strict requirements to work with movers. I had to cancel with the other mover and book for a same week move out. David and his team at Safeway were quick to act and I’m grateful for that. The move was obviously a success otherwise I wouldn’t be writing this. I had hired Safeway to help move my aunt and uncle to their retirement home in Florida. Safeway offered a quick delivery and a fair price. They had boasted a fantastic reputation and I was eager to see how they would handle such a strange move. my aunt and uncle have hundreds of collectibles and I wanted to make sure their valuables were handled with great care. hundreds of unique pieces of china and trinkets that they collected over the years. Safeway offered a very careful operation. Their agent was prompt and reliable from start to finish. I was very happy with the results which is why I am writing this review. Safeway Moving Systems moved me from Kansas to Florida recently - and yes I’m a REAL customer - and I couldn’t be happier with how the move went. I’m constantly moving about every 3 years or so, so I have a lot of experience with long distance professional moving companies. I’ve had good experiences & I’ve had total nightmares. So I know what to look for and what questions to ask when finding a moving company. They were not the cheapest quote but they were definitely the most honest. My final price ended up being a bit higher than the original estimate but I added a lot of boxes the week of the move. It’s common sense- you add more, you pay for that space. However, I was able to finalize my inventory with their quality assurance department before the move so that I wasn’t stuck finding out the final price on the day of the move- other companies have backed me into a corner with this tactic leaving me no other option and forced to pay. Safeway made sure we had all our bases covered before the day of pickup. I was really nervous with my grandmother’s antiques in particular, but the crew showed up on time, they were extremely kind and professional, and really took the extra time and care with these items. I had no damages or missing items in Florida! They didn’t give me false hope with delivery timelines - which has also happened to me in the past - so I was able to prepare accordingly for my arrangements during delivery time. Again, I move every few years due to work, and I can finally say I’ve found the one and only moving company I’ll be using from here forward! Thanks Safeway and team!

I had no idea what to expect when I first began to Shop around. I moved from California a few weeks ago and the whole process was more stressful for my family than expected. I had hired Safeway after speaking with several companies. Safeway was pricier but their reputation made me comfortable. When speaking with them, I felt at ease. I had spent a week shopping around and the more I did the less I wanted to actually move. I selected Safeway because it just felt right. Every time I emailed or called they had the right answers. This was my first big move (for a job) and it was the right decision for my family. We sold off a lot of items between the time we booked the move and the actual move date. Safeway reassessed my move cost a few days before the move which brought my price down. The whole move took 4 hours to load. The price was $200 off but I was ok with it. I did forget a few items that needed to be boxed up. I wouldn’t be writing this review if I felt they were not doing the best job they could. During a global pandemic you want to make sure your family is safe during the whole move. I felt my family and our items were in safe hands with this company. Charlie and his team did a great job. I’m thankful for selecting this company.

I hired Safeway to help move my family from Chicago to New York. I had limited expectations but I needed help. My cousin used Safeway and their local agent in the past and had very little issues working with them. I had to move a two bedroom. My company luckily was covering the cost. I had a pleasant experience with the representative over the phone. I sent them videos of what I needed to move and I received a price within an hour. The movers arrived on time and packed everything. They boxed up my art work. They helped arrange a date that suited my building in New York. The whole move took about a week. I am glad to write this review. My family is happy with the results. What more can I ask for? Moving is rough. Safeway Moving was a pleasure to work with.

I had a last minute move from Florida to Georgia originally booked with another company, at the last minute they cancelled due to likely getting a longer more lucrative move. Obviously, I was furious with this moving company and needed to make other arrangements quickly. The move needed to be done 3 days from when the original mover cancelled on me. I called Safeway and quickly found a great solution. It being so last minute, everything went smoother than I expected. From the professionalism of the movers to the attentive customer service rep and dispatch. Overall, very pleased with my experience and would recommend Safeway to anyone.

I booked my move from Costa Mesa, California to Raleigh, North Carolina with Safeway back in October. Due to the cost of living just becoming outrageous in California and my wife and I living on our retirement. We decided that we need to move our home and 30 years of memories. We were hesitant to use any moving company to move all of our antiques and family heirlooms. However since my wife and I not being able to move everything ourselves, we decided to contact Safeway. Best decision we made. The process was explained thoroughly from the very start. Everyone was very pleasant as eager to assist us. When the movers arrived, they handled our precious valued items with the care we were hoping for and very professional. We were very flexible with the delivery time being that we knew the high demand of people leaving the state like us. We were very impressed with the time it made it to us on the east coast. At delivery, all of our items were reassembled and all the services we paid for were rendered in a satisfactory manner. Although we plan on continuing to enjoy our retirement in our new home, we don't plan on moving anytime soon but would highly recommend Safeway moving.

Used Safeway Moving System from NJ to Cali. Got a quick quote and the whole process was very seamless. We sold our house and wanted to keep most of our furniture so it was a fairly big move, some pieces were fairly vintage and fragile but everything arrived from door to door fairly quickly and unscathed. Final price paid was exactly what I was quoted. The entire process was extremely easy. Reading on reddit some of the other companies people used had me worried but Safeway definitely exceeded my expectations. I'll recommend them to friends and family as people are moving around the country more to accommodate new working environments.

PLEASE DO NOT! This company is the biggest scam ever. Let me get started with clarifying that this is a moving brokerage. This should make you stay away, even if they deny it. The Sales rep, Jay C, is rude and disrespectful and a liar. This should have been a red flag and I should have stopped it right there. I was caught in a stressful moment and did not realize that on the estimate, half of my items were missing. I did send him an email asking if there was any additional cost I should be aware of, which he denied in writing. Next, the moving coordinator Maria L is the worst moving helper. She has no patience or empathy on how stressful an out of state move is. When I was going with her through everything, she confirmed that the extra cost for delivery or pickup will only be charged if the truck cannot park close to the house and will be parked more than 100 feet away. I specifically asked if this also includes the distance within the building, which she denied on tape. Sure enough the company made me pay over $100 because the distance inside the building was too long. When I requested the recording of the audio, I was not send the correct transcript and it was on a word document and clearly altered. Next, the delivery guy told me that he has to rent a truck to deliver the items to my address because he cannot delivery with his semi truck. I told him that he can deliver with his semi truck because there is enough space to which he replied via text that they never do that and that they always rent a truck which was an additional $500. Of course, neither Jay C nor Maria L picked up when I called or returned my calls. Now, needless to say that my moving boxes, which were purposely labeled to indicate if the box was heavy or light, where ripped apart, heavy boxes placed on light boxes, boxes up side down. I could see with my own eyes how the delivery person mishandled the boxes. Several items were broken and are irreplaceable. The claims company used is a scam too. I cannot upload all documents because they all have to be merged into one document, but they don't accept zip files. So how am I supposed to merge all of these documents? Next, I emailed Tashana S from costumer service. She never replied to my email. Now, I spend +3K on a move that was estimated at 3K when I could have used a reputable company and have the aftermath of dealing with the better business bureau. Don't let them fool you if they reply their records don't indicate the move which seems to be their standard reply for all negative reviews here.

I was blown away by how smoothly everything went when I got Safeway Moving System to help me move from CT to IL. Andrew and David; the movers I hired have started moving my furniture, appliances and many other things. They brought all this cool stuff like dollies and furniture cushions to help me move my stuff. These fellas were acers at handling my stuff. They were super careful with my huge couch and my fancy glass collection. They were gentle and careful with my grandma's old oak furniture. When we moved into our much larger house, our belongings, including our furniture and valuables, were moved with us meticulously. The movers finished our relocation two hours ahead of schedule. Although there was a snowstorm on moving day, they were attentive and cautious in loading and unloading my things. There were no hidden fees and no extra charges. I wouldn't think twice about employing their services for my future relocation. You guys are seriously awesome.
