If I could give zero (or even negative stars), I would. Safeway Moving is a terrible company that engages in fraudulent and destructive business practices. They completely ruined my move--they overcharged me (compared to what they quoted), damaged my belongings (thousands of dollars of damage), did not deliver my belongings on the right day, and gave me someone else's belongings. They have done nothing to remedy all of the problems that they caused. Stay far away form this company.

Do not use this company. I am going you a HUGE WARNING!! They took almost two months to deliver my home from NJ to CA and told me it would be 21 days. They charged me double at the l pickup and I had no choice ( I have cancer and undergoing treatment so my son was there). Lied to me for 1 month about delivery, and at the time of delivery demanded $500 more because the truck was so large ( carrying mutual peoples stuff) it could not fit on a residential street and somehow I was forced to pay if I wanted my stuff.

This company I contacted off a google page for movers. When I called Oliver picked up my call claiming to be dispatch. He did a very quick review of my inventory. He bad mouthed another company calling them a broker but this company is a broker it’s located in fl ft. Lauderdale. I hope this review saves others from a nightmare. He also said a portion of the deposits goes to st. Jude cancer research this is a complete scam BEWARE!

Horrible experience. My boxes were full of rat feces. Rats ate several of my items including shoes, clothes, and furniture. They where 2 months late; customer service is although friendly they are completely useless They did not honored the initial quote. They forced me to rent a small truck instead of their 18 wheeler despite me providing evidence they did fit and my homeowners association allowed them. To top it of they scrapped my hardwood floors and damaged my walls. And they dropped my dresser from around 5 feet and completely damaged it.

Terrible, I wish I could give them zero stars - we set up a guaranteed move date a month before the move. That was removed - and a 3 day window was put in place. They missed that too - so we ended up having to set up a second moving company at the very last minute. Totally unprofessional, they blamed everyone and everything else along the way. No ownership / no apology / no attempt to make it right. Take your business elsewhere...

Once they have your money you can forget about basic customer service, no follow-ups, incorrect delivery times. I regret everyday being dooped into using this shady company. BIG WARNING!!! Don't get fooled by SafeWay Moving Systems. Our experience with them has been a nightmare. They repeatedly change their words, they haven't delivered our belongings and it's already been a month even though they promised 14 days. We had to spend thousand of dollars in hotel in the middle of Covid when expecting a child because of how terrible SafeWay Moving System and their service is. I highly recommend people DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE.
