Although primarily known as an interstate moving service, Moving APT services nationwide moving with great care, professional training, and quality service with the hope of providing a stress free experience for each customer. The Good

  • Packing Services
  • Residential Moving
  • Corporate Relocation

Packing Services

One of the most stressful parts of moving is the packing process. If you are anxious about packing and would appreciate making your move a bit more stress free, you can hire professional movers to come and pack your things for you. Not only will these hard working individuals pack your belongings for you, but they will bring all of the packing materials that you will need.

For those that want to save money, you can forgo the professional packing service and still rely on Moving APT to provide you with packing materials. This will most likely take more time, but it will save you money in the long run.

Residential Moving

Moving APT can put you into contact with a local mover who will provide you with packing materials such as boxes, bubble wrap, etc. as well as helpful and friendly movers who will come and load your personal belongings, furniture, and other items into a moving truck. Moving services will vary due to the use of a number of third party movers, but quality and customer satisfaction are the most important concerns of Moving APT.

Corporate Relocation

If you have ever moved your entire company before, you know that it can be a difficult and time-consuming process. The electronics and furniture used by your staff every day needed to be moved with great care to ensure optimum functionality and Moving APT is one of the few carriers in the United States that can offer nationwide moving services for you and your company. Moving APT guarantees a competitive rate as added incentive to use its services when taking part in a corporate move.

The Bad

  • Not a Moving Company
  • Third-Party Movers
  • Pricing Discrepancies

Not a Moving Company

Though Moving APT started out as a moving company, it has since transitioned into a brokerage company that hires out a local mover to come and help you move. Some Moving APT reviews found online included complaints of theft, damage to furniture or personal belongings, and poor customer service. Moving APT does what it can to help in these circumstances, but resorts to the contract that has been made by the local mover to move the customer and their things. Moving APT does not take responsibility since it is simply a brokerage company that sets up each move between the customer and the local mover.

Third-Party Movers

One of the greatest weaknesses of Moving APT is the exclusive use of third-party movers. Every contracted job is done through one of these third parties putting all of the pressure of legal responsibilities, etc. on the local mover. If furniture or other items are lost or damaged during the moving process, Moving APT will refer the customer to the local mover to address the concern. Many customers are unaware that a third party will be hired and struggle to contact them once given the information by Moving APT.

Pricing Discrepancies

There are a number of circumstances in which the price for the move that was given by the Moving APT representative has been significantly lower than the final price of the job. This price also differs from the online quote that can be attained on the company website.

gavel

The Bottom Line

Moving APT is not a moving company. That is something that you should know. Though it does not have hired teams to help customers with the moving process, it does hire local movers to get the job done. If you are looking for help finding a local mover, Moving APT can be of service to you. If you are looking for an actual moving company that will be with you through every step of the moving process, this may not be the company for you. We would recommend doing extensive research before entering a contract and paying a deposit with Moving APT. This could include asking what local companies it would consider hiring to do the job, a written contract with a final payment price, and/or other research on the local moving companies near you to ensure that you are receiving high-quality and professional moving services.

I imagine that the positive reviews are from Moving APT customers that were solicited by the company. I was not solicited. I am trying to warn off anyone who is thinking of using this broker. Beware: Moving APT IS Moving Services despite what they tell you. It's in the emails you receive. Regardless, they have finely tuned their craft and regardless of what they tell you or write in an email, they will fall back on the boilerplate contract they created. You could have something, in writing, time-stamped at the same time, and they will refer back to the contract which has language that could be interpreted in different ways, sometimes the language contradicts itself. It's just not worth it. You need to avoid them and their aliases because there are good reliable movers out there who will be straight up with you. I have good and bad experiences and these folks are the "never again" experience.

highly suggest you do not use this moving broker. They hire deplorable company's to move your products. They lie about their services and when you need assistance on a major issue, I had a manager literally say to me "take what we tell with a grain of salt". They take no responsibility on your move and leave the liability between you and the moving company they hire. They also attempt to take additional money just like a car dealers finance department in upselling services you don't need and when the company they hired comes to move your furniture they claim not to be aware of them. The claims process is a joke so be prepared to get no restitution for the damages incurred from the mover APT hires. I can literally fill up a full page of the issues we had with APT but my best advice is to never use them.

Moving is very stressful and if you value your sanity, don’t use MovingAPT. They will be so accommodating until you give them money. After that, you are at their mercy. I moved from NYC to Louisiana. A week after my property was picked up, they tried adding more money to to the estimate, about one third of the estimate more. After a confrontation, they agreed to honor the contract. They made numerous promises of when I would receive my property and the third time I actually did receive my delivery. They won’t answer your calls or emails and will leave you stranded and dependent on them. Complaining will only make them defend themselves and you will be the bad person in the situation. They delivered past the 21 days promised in the contract. The driver showed up with no help and I had to help unload the truck with the driver. No furniture was put into my house as promised. Beware this company.

I understand that moving APT is a broker for companies, but even then, Moving APT misrepresented the costs, caused multiple delays, did not honor the agreed upon time frame, and sent a carrier that damaged my furniture and apartment. I was scheduled for pick up on 9/26-9/28. On 9/26 I was told that a carrier would pick up on 9/27 1pm-3pm. I was only told that they were not coming after the window was over, and I called to ask. They rescheduled for 10am-12pm the next day but did not arrive until 1pm. The driver did not speak English or Spanish and couldn't communicate with me or the rep from moving apt. The guy helping the driver load items was hired from Craigslist. They loaded about half my stuff until they were told to unload because of a disagreement between moving apt and the carrier over the charge. They left around 4:45pm. The movers from this carrier scratched the floor in multiple places by dragging items across the hardwood floor and with the dolly. I asked them to stop multiple times. The next day I was told that a different carrier would come on 9/30 10am-1pm. That morning I was told they would come at 3pm. Later in the afternoon their dispatcher told me they would come at 4:30pm, but the movers did not arrive until around 6pm. This driver had also hired people to help load the truck from Craigslist They finished around 10:45pm. The movers did not wrap the items before taking them into the truck. I asked them to do this to avoid damage to the walls or furniture, but they continued without doing it and said that the items would be wrapped once they were in the truck. The floor was scratched with the dolly in a few places. The driver arrived at the new place without calling ahead of time and without anyone to help move the items. My friend and I had to help carry large items. A wall in the apartment was dented and scuffed in multiple places. The desk, bookshelf, two nightstands, arm chair and dresser were all scratched. I saw that the nightstands and bed frame were not wrapped in the truck and the dresser and bookshelf were only partially covered. The top of the bookshelf was broken off completely. They charged $1300 extra because the total volume was 50% greater than moving apt's estimate, even though I had given an accurate inventory list. I can only assume that moving apt intentionally gives low estimates of total volume in order to give a lower quote and inflate the cost later. I'm currently in the process of filing a claim for the damages and delays. They use a 3rd party company to process claims making it even more confusing.

I booked my cross-country move with MovingAPT and the sales guy was great "You are covered with us on insuring your things, we use the best movers"....And then QA and scheduling and pickup started. QA was rude and difficult, managers were unwilling to help. They used Big Shoulders Moving and Storage to move my things which was the worst thing to ever happen. Not only did they take 15 hours to move a 4 bedroom house into a truck. But they took 16 days to get me my things across 1200 miles. My things were delivered with the industrial treadmill broken and unable to be fixed, L shaped executive desk destroyed, 2 book cases broken. When I filed to be made whole... I was offered $75 because they felt that was fair for almost $5000 of product. Please find and use anyone but this company when you search for a reputable mover.

I hired Moving APT IN June 2021. I worked with a lady by the name of Rachel J. I had just received a job offer in San Diego and needed to move urgently. I didn’t realize later that I was hiring a company who constantly lies and doesn’t guarantee anything. They contracted with a 3rd part moving company. Moving APT guaranteed that I was in good hands and all my items were safe and secure. I paid $1000 deposit and waiting for the moving company to call me. They picked my items up first week in July. What they didn’t tell me was that my items were going into a truck with 3 other peoples good. I was apparently the first pick up. The crew that arrived did a shitty job of packing the large items. My mattress and bed frame arrived damaged with a piece of the wood on the bottom broken. The mattress was left exposed because they didn’t cover it properly. I finally received my items on august 19th. And the company moving APT hired was horrible. I had 3 large pieces of art in a frame that never arrived. The boxes were trampled and open. It was so heartbreaking to see all my hard earned money to purchase nice things for myself and my home were damaged and mistreated. Moving APT takes zero responsibility. I don’t even want to give them 1 star! They should be put out of business. Do yourself a favor; hire a direct mover. NOT A LOUSY MONEY HUNGRY BROKER COMPANY LIKE MOVING APT. And check out their reviews on better business bureau. Before they comment and say they have no record of my move - here’s my quote number:1240610.

I hired Moving APT to do a complicated move that involved packing up houses in two cities and delivering all our belongings to a third city. The first leg of the move, from DC to Miami was relatively fine. Although there was damage to some of my antiques, at least all my possessions did arrive in Miami, and it was only a few days delayed. The second half was a nightmare. Moving APT connected us to a horrible company called East Freight Logistics to move our things from California to Miami. These people arrived late with many pieces of our furniture broken and about one-third of our things were missing. We had to pay the company in full before they began unloading the truck, but they mentioned nothing about our missing furniture. About 10 days later, most of our remaining things arrived. The rest never came. Moving APT says they are not responsible for the behavior of the moving companies they connect their customers with. That is insane. What is the purpose of having a moving broker if they can't stand behind the quality of the movers they refer you to?

Moving APT has participated in a nation-wide fraud. They hire non-licensed, non-insured freight companies who either destroy, hide, or hold hostage belongings of customers, dumping them in various storage spaces around the country. They are currently being reviewed for license revocation by the FMCSA and under investigation by multiple police jurisdictions nation-wide. My daughter paid Moving APT a sizable deposit, only to have her belongings dumped by their hired freight company in an unnamed storage space for 5 months. When we finally found her belongings months after her scheduled move-in date, 85% of them were destroyed. We had to hire a reputable mover to move the remaining load from a storage space in NJ to her new apt in NY. The moving company they hired, East Freight Logistics, was a fraudulent shell company that had only been licensed for 3 months and already had 24 complaints filed against them. Needless to say, the cost of getting all new furniture, dishes, TVs and household goods more than made up for what she thought she was "saving" by going to Moving APT. Moving APT was uncommunicative and denied having any responsibility. Needless to say, they didn't even offer to cover the cost of the new mover for whom they created the need. Bottom line: If you're planning a move, hire a licensed insured mover directly. It will cost a bit more, but you won't have to deal with shameless unprofessional thieves like this.

They lie (in that they deliberately withhold relevant information), and manipulate. They have this game they play where no person you can talk to can ever answer the question, but they will leave a message for the person who can answer it to call you back. They never call you back. My belongings were taken 5 weeks ago, still no word on when it will be delivered, and they don't care. They literally say that they aren't the moving company, they just represent you to the moving company. But they don't represent you! They take a fee from you, and DO NOTHING. Last I heard from them they said that the moving company said my stuff is on a truck and headed my way. Days later I hear from the actual moving company that it is sitting in the same warehouse it has been in for a month. They just lie to you, and say whatever they need to say to get you to go away. DO. NOT. USE. It is literally pointless. Just find your own moving company. This place is a joke.

One of the worst companies I have EVER worked with!! Once you book with them and give them your deposit, it is almost impossible to get hold of them after that. They hired out another moving company to do out move, which turned out to be a scam company. We paid moving apt to have the movers repack a number of boxes and for a number of packing materials. This money apparently never went to the movers and then the movers that they hired out charged us another $650 for that. The movers did a terrible job at repacking- everything was literally thrown in boxes and so took up extra space (which we were charged extra for). When the movers brought us our items they gave us 20 minutes notice. ALL of our furniture was damaged as well as other bits. Worst of all was that about $6000 worth of our items had been lost/ stolen. This happened 2 months ago. It is almost impossible to get hold of Moving APT and they are taking no responsibility for hiring a scam moving company. The moving company they hired out was Coast to Coast Moving in NJ, who I have rung 30-40 times over the last two months and the only time they answered the phone was when I used someone else's phone to make the call. I rang the police on this company and the police said they were a scam company and that Moving APT should take responsibly- which they will not. The move cost over $10,000, then a lot of extra fees that they kept adding on, and then they lost $6000 worth of items. Do not use this company!

If this company isn't a complete scam, it sure feels that way, and they haven't exactly done anything to fix it. I kept getting told I would "only be charged for what gets moved." They moved roughly half the estimated weight. and I got charged MORE than the estimate. We moved a fraction of the items, and sold some of the larger items (like the kayaks/bicycles) we were told would be more expensive. Several pieces of furniture were damaged, a hole was put in my wall, and we watched the movers topple 2 stacks of boxes down the stairs. 1 of those had all of our plates. When asked to pay the final amount at delivery, and it being $1500 more than expected, we spent over 3 hours trying to get ahold of anyone from Moving APT or the contracted moving company. It was a Sunday. We figured it was all a misunderstanding. Surely this would get cleared up on Monday and we would get a refund, right? Nope! Got sent to a claims office. I've asked several times for an updated quote based on the bill of lading and still haven't gotten it. We were asked to send all of our documentation and pictures in a single unzipped file <10 mb - I had 160 mb in pictures. We sent it by mail, but because of COVID, THEIR CLAIMS OFFICE ONLY CHECKS THEIR MAILBOX ONCE A MONTH. There's nothing harder to do while maintaining social distancing than checking a mailbox, right? It's Florida, like they even care about COVID anyway. Then each step of the process (and there seem to be a ton) they have 1-3 months to respond. We moved going on 4 months ago, and near as I can tell we're owed in the neighborhood of $4,000. At this rate it appears the only way I'm getting it back it to take it to small claims court - and only in Miami Dade County according to the terms and conditions. The huge insurance that is standard wit every move . . .pays out $0.60 per pound of item. So, if they destroy your $7 lb. $2K lap top, congrats, you get about $4 back! I remember being told the whole thing was insured for up to a large sum, but if this was conveyed to me before the morning of pick up, I didn't notice it. I don't check Facebook very often, but if anyone would like to message me directly, I'll happily provide the email chains, the pictures, and the documentation to prove my case - all 160 mb of it. The quote was for $5100, but we got charged over $7,000. Quote number U1224018

I wouldn't even give them one star if I could help it. We have been waiting 3 months for our stuff and still not here. 21 days was the contractual agreement. No one can tell me when our stuff will arrive. Each week we call and each week we are told a truck will be in with in a week. We have been told this 4 times already. No one can tell us what the delay is. Honestly I am worried I will never see my stuff again. In the meantime we are having to rent a hospital bed for my dad while we are waiting for his. The customer service reps are not helpful and we feel like we are at a dead end. Plus to accept payment they required us to venmo money which did not feel right. Hoping to eventually get our belongings.

In the middle of a move and it went well until pick up of belongings. I addressed poor reviews several times with Rachel and she assured me that she would be with me every step of the way. But after signing a contract, our move went to Collena in dispatch who set it up with movers. Company they chose is US Safe Movers, not exactly local since they are in Las Vegas and we were in Northern California. We paid $6,000 extra to have our belongings in its own truck and come directly to us in Texas. The movers are now saying that is not in contract and they have three weeks. So, as of now, I do not know when our stuff will arrive as I am being passed to a third person, Alyssa. MovingAPT failed to write the contract correctly (Rachel) and communicate to moving company correctly (Collena). We have ended up paying the same as the reputable mover, United, quote we received although Rachel told me that MovingAPT would be less. If our stuff arrives soon (which is doubtful), I may update this review. As of now, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I just completed a move with Moving APT and it was so horrible I ended up with a case of eczema. They were deceptive in their pricing, and seemed to have is orchestrated. My initial quotation, some 6 weeks before the move was 1/3 of the final price that was changed two more times once two days before the move and finally. on the final day of the move. Unfortunately, my home was under contract and I had to vacate it, I was over a barrel. This company should not be in business. They were deceptive in their sales approach promising to be 55% lest than the major movers when in reality they were 50% higher.

If I could give these guys zero stars, I would. Save your bank account, and do not sign any contracts with these scam artists. Moving APT is a moving brokerage that is completely out of touch with all of their carriers. Their sales representatives will rush you into an estimate, where they ask for 1/3 of your payment up front. They share some great perks with you, like a free flight of stairs at pickup and delivery, furniture staging at the destination, and a moving agent dedicated to you throughout the entire moving process. Don't be fooled. As soon as you pay that first deposit, MovingAPT will completely ghost you, and your final price will magically increase to over 150% of the estimate (in my case). I would understand an increase in price if I had requested more items in the move, had a last minute change of plans, etc.; however, I decreased the amount of items in my move. Apparently that translated into a $300+ increase in price... No explanation was ever provided. Upon arrival at my destination, the semi driver extorted me out of nearly $400 to retrieve my goods. Keep in mind, this is a carrier that was supposedly "fully vetted" by Moving APT. Remember that dedicated moving agent I mentioned earlier? I tried to contact them, but they were unavailable during both pickup and delivery. In other words, I was never able to even meet my agent, and I was left completely alone to deal with the semi driver. After I retrieved my goods, I reached out to Moving APT customer service to see if they could help make things right. I've been exchanging emails with their customer service rep for upwards of two weeks now, and it's becoming very clear that they are completely unwilling to assist. When I try to contact them via phone, I am forwarded to an answering service that isn't even part of the company. I will be disputing my charges through Visa in an attempt to retrieve at least some of my money. Moral of the story: don't let Moving APT's cheap estimate fool you. These guys will milk your bank account for everything it's worth, and they will lie repeatedly to your face. If I could do it all over again, I would certainly book directly with a highly reputable moving company -- no brokers!

This is, without question, the worst moving company I have ever deal with. I wish I could give it 0 stars. 1) I spent so much time on the phone with Robert P who went through the pictures of the house on Zillow, which gave me a lot of confidence in the quote – which was thousands of dollars lower than the other quotes I received. Then, a week before the move, they did a quality check with someone else, who DOUBLED the cost. It was too late to get my deposit back or book another company. 2) The movers were not done until 1:30 AM, at which time they told us -for the first time - there would be a 3% fee for using a credit card. The actual cost was thousands of dollars more than the second quote we received. 3) When I finally talked to someone, they offered me $500 “for my troubles” – when I called back to accept the offer, he “didn’t remember” speaking to me and didn’t honor it. They had our possessions hostage, so there was very little I could do. I am a lawyer and could sue them, but it isn’t worth the time and energy it would take to recover the thousands of dollars I could have saved by doing more research. But please don’t make the same mistake I made. You should never, ever use this company. There is no upside. Period.

Moving APT would have to be the WORST, UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST and DISRESPECTFUL brokers I have had the pleasure of working with on my most recent long distance move. From lying about verbiage on contracts and checklist sheets to not properly recording calls for quality assurance. Why make a note at the beginning of calls saying that they are beginning recorded? When actually they aren’t and you are not able to properly watch and or train your sales specialist when things go bad... especially when there are large amounts of money involved and customers personal belongings. Rachel J is supposed to be their top specialist but yet she lied from the very beginning about payment options. I gave her my card number in confidence that I would be able to use this same card at delivery to receive my items and she agreed on numerous accounts that this would be more than fine. Fast forward, when it comes time to pay— turns out this is not fine!! Why lie about something so small? Then she became unresponsive when I needed support in speaking to dispatchers. How convenient for her? Moving APT must be very low budget in the people they hire and their training programs must be non existent. Moving is an important and stressful time in a customers life and to know that they could be shafted and lied to by the broker company does not make it any more less difficult. Future customers please save yourself the headache in dealing with such a ratchet company and find a more reliable broker! Listen to these poor reviews, these customers are not lying!! I wish I would’ve taken heed and took my money elsewhere!

DO NOT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was incorrectly quoted on the first estimate. They use a 3rd party to pick up and deliver your belongings so you never know who to deal with. My 'point of contact' at the company switched 3 times during the entire process. No matter how many messages I left with real people I could not get a callback to answer simple questions. They claimed that they are busy, but they sure were quick to take my money despite not being able to provide quality service. My second quote (the "quality assurance call") just a few days before my pick up was $700 higher just for adding small household items (i.e. a broom). However, despite having much less than anticipated upon pick up (half as many boxes and fewer items) my quote did not go down. In fact, I was charged an extra flight of stairs which no one tells you there is a finite amount. It does not matter what floor you live on it only matters how many steps there are between you and the ground. This company is not on the same page as the company they outsource for pick up and delivery (MSN Logistics Inc.) because they have different definitions for how many steps constitutes a flight of stairs and one charges you on cubic feet, whereas the other charges you based on the number of items you have. It took a week to receive my items when it was suppose to take about 3-4 days. The delivery was set for midday, but did not show up until 8pm. At delivery only 1 man was present to move my belongings so I had to help. Many items were damaged and broke. Almost every single box was smashed and torn. The claims process is also a 3rd party and they make it near impossible to submit your damaged items (receipts for things you bought years and years ago plus a limit to the file size attachment showing your paperwork). The company did not care how poorly I thought of them and will not fairly compensate me for the work I had to put in, the miscommunication, the lack of coordination, and my damaged items. They need to understand I hired them not MSN Logistics Inc. The only reason this is 1 star is because I could not give a 0.

The subcontractor (Pioneer Moving) APT hired to do my job was an absolute scam and APT knew that. When my things were finally delivered (much later than promised) they had lost my table ($550), one wardrobe box full of personal things, and 2 medium size boxes. $3000+ value and a lot of personal memorabilia. No one has reached out to me. Before they take your deposit, they are going to be extremely nice to you. After they take your NONREFUNDABLE deposit, you become less than human to them. I had called with one request - that my furniture be delivered to my new city on or before September 27th as I was starting a new job the following Monday, September 30th. The rep I spoke with, Rachel J, made multiple assurances that I was going to receive my things between Wednesday and Friday of that week, but "worst case scenario" was September 30th. Based on her promises, I booked a flight to get there Wednesday morning. Turns out, Rachel (and later her colleague Ron) were heartless salespeople not caring in the least about my new job and most of what they said was untrue. In fact, Rachel's OWN MANAGER, Jia, said that most of what Rachel had promised me was illegal. When I told Jia that she is welcome to listen to my recorded conversations with Rachel, in which Rachel told me the exact opposite of what turned out to be the case, Jia laughed in my face and said, "you really think we record all of those?!" Same issues with the movers working for Pioneer, including Rocky, whom I tipped generously and whose colleague I donated $350+ worth of clothes and children's toys to (for his kids). Fast forward to that "worst case scenario" Friday -- I had not heard a word and no one would pick up their phones. Finally I got through to someone and it turned out that my things were STILL IN TEXAS! Imagine my horror as I was in an empty apartment with no work clothes on FRIDAY NIGHT TO START WORK MONDAY MORNING only to be laughed at when I asked if they are getting close and told that my stuff was in Texas and they don't know when it'll make it to New York. I had to spend hundreds of dollars on new stuff. I spent my first week of my new job sleeping on an air mattress. To add salt to the wound, apparently there were at least 10 things that I had to be charged for that were not mentioned upfront. Then, there I was, day after day, waiting. Leaving MY NEW JOB early or in the middle of the day to go wait for movers who never showed up. Finally (I think it was the 5th day they had said that "Today is the day!!!") they said they would be there at 9 AM. They finally showed up at 3 PM and were rude and awfully messy. The situation in the truck was simply inhumane. There were people sleeping on the floor. One of the guys told me that his friend John "picks him up" "every time he's in town." Imagine what happens if that guy hurts himself in your apartment. He doesn't work for either the broker or the subcontractor, so you are on the hook. This is the most disgusting, illegal operation I have ever seen in the United States.Of the boxes that did arrive, most were in pitiful condition. At least three of were bottomed out with half of the contents spilled and gone; others were obviously opened, rampaged through, and re-sealed; everything smelled terrible and was dusty. I spent the weekend washing and had to pay hundreds for professional cleaning of most of my clothes and linens, as well as my now ruined $6k couch. The day my things came, was so exhausted that I just wanted to sleep on a normal bed; only to start sneezing as soon as I touched the bed. I had explained to the agents that I had a TempurPedic mattress and Rachel promised a "free mattress cover" in addition to "all the general packing!" Guess how my mattress arrived. One sad plastic piece over it, entirely torn apart. So my mattress needed to be professionally cleaned. It took me a week to gather some energy because I fell physically sick from all the dirt and stress associated with the move.

This Company is the absolute worst. When they finally arrived to pick up my boxes, they ended up charging me double the price that I was quoted. Then, it took an entire month for my things to arrive. When I saw my things on the truck, each and every one of my boxes was damaged significantly, almost as if they’d been dropped from a three-story building. The movers wouldn’t move my things more than 75ft without me giving them an extra $150 cash. The movers themselves were rude and unprofessional. Throughout this process the customer service was horrible as they would leave me on hold for absurd amounts of time and promise to call me back, which never happened. I chose them because I was trying to save money on my move but, with the extra charges and the way they nickel and dime you, you end up paying much more than expected. If I could do it all again, I would rather carry my things on my back and walk from Massachusetts to Texas before I used Moving APT again. I truly believe it is the worst company of all time. I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone.

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called everyday last week to get an update on where my stuff was, which was a solid 7 business days after movers came. I couldn't even get ahold of someone to tell me whether there WAS an update. And when I finally did, he blamed me for not calling him directly. Not to mention that it can take up to 21 business days to receive your belongings and that the cost has gone up $3,000 since my "binding" quote. Don't use this company.

I would give them less than one star if I could. Horrible experience, from overselling first agent to non-responsive and incompetent 'handlers'. You end up paying way more and still having to pay both - the actual moving company and Moving APT, who charges high fees for 'hassle free' moving, but they are the worst hassle. I would not recommend them to anyone!

I booked and confirmed my moving date 6 months prior and a week before the move they could not find a carrier. They suggested I extend the date but I had a flight and made all other arrangements and that was not a possibility. I was forced to sell all my furniture in 48 hours. I would never again book Moving APT and after carefully reading other reviews I see I was not the only one this has happened to. The worst kind of experience to have when moving! I do not recommend doing business with them!!!!!!!

Moving APT is a completely unethical company. They will underquote you at the time of booking and raise the price of your move by hundreds of dollars come time for actual pickup. Their representatives are unresponsive and do not answer the phone once they get their deposit from you. They have BY FAR the most incompetent customer service department who will tell you blatant lies to appease you and get you off the phone, and screen your calls afterwards. DO NOT pay this company for their services-- you will regret it!

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!! This is the worst company. It took them over 2 months to deliver my items. I could not get anyone from the home office to respond to my calls and messages. When the items DID finally arrive some of them were damaged. I have called the company several times about the damaged items and either get their voice mailbox or no answer at all. These people are quick to take your money but not quick in resolving moving issues. If I could give them negative stars I would.

Promise made that were not fulfilled 1. Completed on time 2. Crating of items 3. # of packers that were suppose to arrive and work 4. Just getting a call back when trying to resolve issues. All I ever got was lip service from everyone. Oh that not right let me get on that and then nothing happen. 5. My wife (62) and myself (66) had to help pack and load to get this complete because the foreman quit working

Broker was very good to start with then when there was a problem he disappeared and would not handle any concerns I had . The price when up almost $5000. a day or 2 before the movers came. His supervisor was a very slick and untruthful person Moving company they contracted with was horrible and the brokers were of no help. In fact the broker I dealt with hung up on us. It was just a horrible situation in the midst of this horrific virus. Poor communication and untruthful Would never recommend them to anyone.

Worst experience ever! Late for pick up. Lots of damage to the furniture, broken lamps, scratched things, wet clothes, damaged some purses and shoes...I could keep counting plus, a missing rug. Worst of all, nobody answers. NO RECOMMENDED.

It is a scam. They hold onto your stuff and continue to increase the costs. I even had to pay to transfer my stuff to a new truck even though it was not needed. Don't use them. It is a huge scam
