I have to write about how grateful I am for this company. They truly went above and beyond for me. I felt like the representative really cared and paid attention to my needs and what I wanted completed. He was very upfront with me when something just didn’t make sense. The honesty made my move so much less stressful. If I had to do this all over again, I would pick United Express Moving and Storage again for my move!

Worst experience I have had with a moving company. I was quoted $1200.00 by United Express Moving and Storage (UMS) who contracted Front line to “pack and ship” my storage unit of construction tool and some personal effects. After they packed it up and put it on their truck, they called me and said it would be $2400.00. I said no put it back, they said they would not put it back until I paid them $400.00 for their trouble. Realizing I’ld been “had”, I acquiesced to the $2400.00. Then they delayed shipping my belonging. Picked up on 16Jan24 and delivered 08Mar24. When delivered, the first thing I noticed was that EVERY SINGLE box was CRUSHED. (see picture of example). Then as the unloading progress I noticed significant items missing, commercial airless paint sprayer, relatively new power washer, new Bosch router with plunger in hard case, all my shovels, rakes, sledgehammers, picks and assort trowels, brooms, antique Arabian type swords worth over $3000.00 I got in Afghanistan. No one spoke English communicated through iPhone translator. He would not give me a copy the itemized list of what they said they pickup and after repeated attempts by email, text and phone calls to this day have not received said manifest. At this point they will not respond to any of my attempts to reach them. They told me to contact their insurance. Insurance has been stalling and will not commit to value of items. They want to pay pennies on the weight of items. In English they may pay $75.00 for over $6000.00+ for lost or damaged. UMS to date has taken NO RESPONSIBILITY. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I filled out a form on google and was immediately contacted by moving companies. United Express was the only compassionate company. They were patient with my situation and worked with me through everything I needed. Utah to Pennsylvania and it only took 3 days. My price did not change a penny and the gentlemen were great. They even accepted Mastercard for the whole move. 743 cf 5,201 lbs $5,974.92 Phenomenal service - affordable price Thanks Jim!

I was very impressed by the service I received from Carl and Jim, who were my moving coordinators. They were very thorough and attentive to my needs. Carl asked me for precise measurements of some items and inquired about the details of the furniture. He also checked if I had any special requests for packing or handling any antiques or sentimental items. He was outstanding throughout the process. He also made sure to verify the accessibility of both addresses on google earth and google street view, and informed me that I would need 2 26 foot box trucks instead of an 18 wheeler, which other companies had falsely assured me would fit. Jim was very flexible and accommodating when I had to change my move date 3 times in advance. He always found a way to make it work for me. On the day of the move, the crew arrived on time, wearing uniforms and bringing all the packing supplies as promised. They were quick and courteous, and they protected my floors and walls with boxes and blankets. They delivered my belongings in 5 days, which is very fast for 1800 miles! The only minor issue I had was a small scratch on one of my dresser, but I understand that accidents happen. I contacted Brittney, who helped me with the claims process. I highly recommend this company for their excellent work. They deserve 5 stars or more.

Every single person was so kind and helpful, (It was my first time moving), and made the move so much easier. Their quote was binding and did not change at all. The guys who packed up my stuff were a delight! My delivery took 5 days and everything arrived just as it was on the pickup end. I couldn’t get the elevator reserved so I did have to pay $75 for the 2nd flight of stairs but it was understandable and they honestly deserved it! There was no way I was getting it up myself, HA! These guys are 5 stars across the board! Thanks United Express!

I was contacted by Phil for a quote for my move from Spokane, Washington to Stuart, Florida. Phil was a pleasure throughout the entire process. I had 3 quotes all over the place but Phil was by far the most professional and accurate. My price didn’t change a dollar. I had 2,148 Cubic feet, the cost was 11,762.91. My delivery took 7 days which was expected and everything arrived just the way it was picked up. I can’t thank the guys enough for how great they were. United Express is a MUST if you’re moving.

DONT TRUST!!! They stole 1.5k from me and my family. We had signed a contract on Friday, over the weekend it came up that we no longer had to move. Called Monday and they refused a refund!!! The stole this money from hardworking people and hind behind a cancelation policy to do it. They stole my rent my daycare and out monthly food, if you work for this trash company look for somewhere more honest. If you are thinking about this company just take a look at the BBB site they have more complaints then I have ever seen from a company

I was called the afternoon before the move and told that I would need to pay another $1200. I refused. I was then called by someone who seemed to be working from home who told me that the movers would arrive on Wednesday between 1-5pm. A day late. But then on Tuesday 2 sketchy looking guys in track suits showed up and demanded I pay another $3K or there would be no move. They also told me they would not be packing anything or disassembling anything which was part of the original agreement. When I refused to pay the extra $3K they told me it would now cost more because I was being disagreeable. I refused to pay and they left. On Wed no movers showed up. I am now out my almost $700 deposit. These people are nothing more than gangsters.

UNITED EXPRESS LAIRS AND COWARDS! Run away from this company as fast as you can! I contacted this company to move our belongings from Rhode Island to Florida. They gave me a good price and sent me an “estimate”. I learned that they are not the actual movers but contract the work to moving companies. I contacted them again and told them about my concern that since they are not the actual movers, if there arose any issues that I might be left in the cold, stuck between a company that had our money and the company that had our belongings. I received a call from Jim who assured me that this would not happen and that they would be with us every step of the way to guarantee that things went smoothly. I then spoke with Bill “the ex-Marine” (what a joke) to determine what size truck they would need. I made very clear that we had a storage unit 10 x 25, and another at 10 x 10 so they would need a truck that could take a total of 10 x 35 to fit all our belongings. Bill said they could fit everything into a 10x 25 because the storage units were not filled to the very top and that extra space would not be needed. I informed him that we had 4 large leather chairs and a leather couch that were BRAND NEW and we didn’t want any items stacked on top of them because it would result in depressions on the leather that would ruin them and I was happy to pay the extra space for a 10 x 35 to ensure our expensive new furniture arrived undamaged. Bill kept insisting they could do that and repeatedly said he was a professional and knew how to do his job – that my concerns were unfounded, and he personally guaranteed NO ITEMS would be placed on top of our leather furniture. Also, I said we needed our stuff picked up on a Monday and delivered on Friday. He agreed to everything, sent the “estimate” once again and we paid over $3000 to them. The movers arrived on Monday with a 25’ truck. I was shocked and when I told the movers that the truck was too small to fit our belongings without stacking items on our leather furnishings, they said they’d do their best and when the loaded most of our bins and boxes first, it became apparent they would not be able to fit everything without stacking and said they could bring a second truck but that I would have to pay for a second truck to move our items and that was going to cost a few thousand more dollars. So, I called United Express and spoke with Brittany. I told her the issue and requested to speak with Jim, but the coward would not even come to the phone! I asked to speak with Bill W (“Mr Marine” what a shameful joke he is) but he too is a COWARD and would not take my call. Instead, they let poor Britney repeat to me over and over there was nothing they would do, and our agreement was only an “estimate”. Since we had already paid and they had our money there was nothing we could do. The movers loaded our fine new furniture and packed a lot of items on top of it. THEN they tell us they would not be able to deliver on Friday as Bill promised and they would let us know what day they could deliver. I asked why they would not just drive our belongings straight to Florida because the truck was packed to the very ceiling so it wasn’t like they could get more items from elsewhere to add to their trip. I spoke with the boss at the moving company (the men who loaded the truck were great guys who worked hard) and he told me they would “do their best”. So my wife and I left on Monday and drove to Florida to wait for the movers. On Friday I hadn’t received a call saying what time would arrive, so I called, and they still had no answer and said they’d get back to me. Well, they arrived NINE DAYS late. We sat and slept on the floor for over a week wearing only the 4 days of clothes we left with because we had nothing. Finally, they arrived and unpacked our furnishings. As I feared, the chairs and couch have impressions on the arms, back, and cushions from the items stacked on them. Thousands of dollars of furniture were ruined. These people at UNITED EXPRESS are LIARS AND COWARDS. Run as fast as you can to another company. Tom Sotis, West Palm Beach, Florida
