They were very professional and extremely quick while being careful not to damage our stuff. They had to take apart and re-assemble a platform bed which they did very well. Nothing was scratched or damaged. They had us out of our old place and into our new one before noon! From now on-wards, I will only use Safeway Moving Company for my moves.

This company is a complete scam. They gave us a binding estimate and then after everything was loaded they increased it by 75%. We not only didn't add anything to our inventory but we sold large items before the move. After you pay, they will not talk to you or answer emails. Don't fall for the reviews on places like Forbes, This Old House, Buddha, MyMove, etc. They are all paid. Look on BBB, Yelp, Reddit, etc from real people.

Terrible movers. They were underprepared and unprofessional, don’t hire them if you care about your belongings. We hired Safeway Moving System to help us load a truck with our belongings from a 2 BR apartment. They showed up without any tools for disassembly or anything to tie-down items on the truck. One of the crew members asked my wife for her snapchat account, which is totally unprofessional. I’ve worked with a lot of moving companies and Safeway Moving System is by far the worst.

My moving experience from Safeway Moving was the worst I have had. I moved from Virginia to Colorado in April 2022. The quote was just above the pod alternatives, so I went with the full service. There were several issues: 1) They raised the fees after loading, charging an additional $3-4000 above alternatives. 2) They did a terrible job packing, not an efficient use of space, which caused them to raise the price. 3) They hired local labor to pack, which told me to pay then cash and they would lie on the final packing space to save them money. 4) They did not create a legible inventory of boxes and stuff. I was told they would. 4) When it arrived, I was missing at least two boxes, including a DVD player and other electronics. Because it was basic insurance by weight, it would only have been a few dollars of insurance. They would not even cover that because the inventory was illegible. I would recommend anyone avoid Safeway Moving and any full service company or broker. Instead rent a pod or space or moving truck of your own, and hire your own labor via Task Rabbit or a moving website. It will be cheaper and you will have more control of the process.
