Residential and Commercial Storage Solutions

Cal’s Moving & Storage offers both residential and commercial storage solutions.

Cal’s Moving & Storage residential storage rates start at $20 per month, which is significantly lower than industry average storage costs of $100 per month. The company’s residential storage services allow you to drive to your storage facility and the Cal’s Moving & Storage team will help you unload your items and move them to a secure unit. You can create your own item inventory, or the company can do so on your behalf, which will be turned into an online file that you can easily view at any time.

Cal’s Moving & Storage commercial storage services include assistance with office, warehouse, and restaurant moves, and the company is equipped to store all items for as long as you may need. It’s also worth noting that the company offers premium commercial moving services including document destruction, recycling services, and PC kits.

Trained and Experienced Moving Team

Cal’s Moving & Storage performs a background check on all employees, and all employees are trained by the company’s local leads before their first moving job. This training ensures that no matter which movers are on the job, your items will be packed, loaded, and transported with care.

Cal’s Moving & Storage Transparent Pricing

Cal’s Moving & Storage has a good reputation for providing clear and upfront quotes. The company offers an easy-to-use quote tool, which will require you to provide some personal contact information. Upon receiving this information, a Cal’s Moving & Storage representative will contact you to discuss your move and estimated costs.

In addition to transparent quotes, Cal’s Moving & Storage never has any hidden fees or expenses. Thus, whatever your moving quote is, you can rest assured that you’ll never have any additional fee/expense surprises.

Doug Thoreson West Linn, Oregon

We were moving cross town in West Linn, no more than 2 miles away. I had someone come out and look at our house 4 weeks ahead of time to review all the furniture we needed to move. They said this was between a 3-4 hour job which should cost $1300-1400. Sounded great to me. We also talked about start time – I said we needed to be out first thing in the morning because we had to be out of the house by 3pm on that day, and he said we were the first job on the docket and that I’d get a message from the team that morning, but that estimated arrival time was between 8:30am-9am that day. On the day of the move, I called at around 8:45am to say that I hadn’t received a message confirming start time, and Evan in customer support told me I should get a call soon. That call came at 9:05am, at which point I was told that they’d be over around 10:30am, maybe as late as 11am. They eventually showed up at 11:20am. I asked Evan and others from the team if there’s anything they could do to help me given that I had been promised an earlier team. The only response I got from the two people I talked to and from the team was that it was a busy day, and they had no one available, and despite the deadline I’d previously told them about, I’d have to wait. Once the team arrived, they took over four hours to move the furniture OUT of my first home. I’d originally been told they should probably do the entire thing in 3-4 hours, but over four hours before they’d be able to even get everything on the truck. I suspect this is because of the three movers sent, only two did anything. A third mover, Miguel, moved some chairs, and not much else. While moving my dining room table, he dropped it and damaged the corner, and after that, didn’t spend much time doing anything other than moving cushions and then standing around and folding furniture pads. The other two guys moved pretty much everything, but I was charged for three movers the full day through. While moving out of the house, I had a bookshelf damaged, the dining room table corner was dropped (an extremely expensive table gifted by my parents), and significant damage was caused bringing a sleeper sofa downstairs. I have pictures of all of these that I can share, and will need to know your policy for dealing with damage caused to the home as we were moving out, as the new owners of the home are seeking to charge me in order to repair the damage. The movers showed up at my house at 4:15pm to begin unloading the truck. In doing so, they ran over a mailbox station, destroying three mailboxes in the process, and meaning that my first introduction to those three neighbors was apologizing for my movers running over their mailboxes, which was lovely. Once they were here, I spent the entire time helping them move because I knew I was being charged by the hour. While Miguel sat and folded furniture pads, I helped move couches, tables, and fridges. Significant damage was once again made to a door jamb when moving the couch into the room, despite the fact that I had shown them how to bring the couch in and ensure that it didn’t scratch the doorway. There was minor damage done to the stairwell too, though with it being minor, I understand that some things like this happen. The damage to the door jamb was significant, and to a brand new, freshly built house. In the end, I was charged for 7 hours and 30 minutes of work from this team. The email that was sent to me at the end of this has a timestamp of 6:38pm, which was 7 hours and 18 minutes after the team arrived. This means I was charged for extra time, and charged for the 45 minute lunch that the team took as well. I went through Cal’s to try to get this remedied. They sent a handyman to fix the damage to my home and the mailboxes. Mailboxes look good, the damage to the home is still noticeable but better. Never heard anything on damaged furniture, including radio silence after leaving a voicemail and another email, and never got any response about the mover who I was charged for who didn’t help much.
