This included moving our reception desks, consultation rooms furniture, filing cabinets, and many office workstations. We needed the furniture to be placed right because other contractors were working on other parts of the new place. The movers used the layout plan that we gave them and they organized the big furniture accordingly. I liked the fact that we were able to give instructions without constantly interrupting them.

I felt mislead by the representative I was told the entire process would be completed by American Van Lines but instead a contractor arrived in a white truck belonging to a small trucking company. The driver also arrived a day late which pushed my arrival time to my new location back. New location was to new state 9 hours away and considering the movers arrived not only a day late but also late on the rescheduled date. They loaded the last items at 4pm and I had a 9 hour drive mostly in the night ahead of me in addition to having to work the next day. I am upset because I could have called a contractor and saved a lot of money but I wanted to go with a big moving company and not a mom and pop shop. When my belongings finally arrived the guy putting together my kitchen table left a piece off which I showed him and he flipped the table over again to add the missing piece , however I didn’t discover until later that he did not secure the tabletop to the pedestal as the table wobbled to the point of almost coming completely off when my family and I sat down for dinner. Not a good experience and moving itself is already stressful. Glad it’s over.
