We refinanced almost immediately after building our house so we could switch to Navy Fed. My husband has been a member since he was a kid (courtesy of his dad) and felt strongly that we would be better off with them. And he was right. We got a great rate, and it is easily managed thru the Navy Fed app. There is no crazy charge if you make bi monthly payments, which our original lender imposed. We are able to put a little extra money towards our balance each month, and can easily change the amount - or stop the extra money altogether during challenging months - thru the app. Don't often get a chance to say great things about your mortgage holder, but we've been very happy

NFCU accepted my loan when other banks denied me. I am and have been great3dul that NFCU took a chance with me and granted the loan. As much as the information i had to support to get the loan was worth the process. I was elated i was approved because my credit score wasn't as high which justified the high interest rate i had at 6.25%. But regardless, God blessed me with the associates working with me to get in the house with my son. I would have stayed with them until the end of the term but when i attempted to refinance, the appraisal was more than i could pay and therefore had to go elsewhere. I couldn't endure the current payments and live comfortable especially during the pandemic. So, i sought other banks to get a better rate. However, i am forever grateful for NFCU helping with the loan and i will always have a positive review to share about their service.

Navy Federal was my go to lender due to my dad being in the Military. I was able to get assistance because he was a veteran. Navy Federal takes pride in professionalism. The customers service is always quick and easy and the agents are very knowledgeable in assisting me with all my needs. I have never been disappointed nor dissatisfied with the services of Navy Federal. I highly recommend this company!!!

If you have an account with Navy Federal, you are with the best Credit Union. I always compare deals and prices and specifics, and NFCU always wins. Both home and auto loans are super simple and the rates are always the best. They discount for auto pay. Customer service is beyond helpful. I have never had a problem with them and have been a member since 1982. Highly recommend and I don't have a walkin near me anymore but phone and internet help is hands down the best.

I refinanced my mortgage with Navy Federal Credit Union six years ago. My interest rate at that time was 7.78 percent thirty year fixed with a predatory lender company called ASC. Navy Federal refinanced me at a 3.0 percent 15 year fixed. My loan officer at that time was Melani and she was excellent with maneuvering through the loan process.

Although the process was a lot different than now, what I remember most was how (at a young age), without a lengthy credit history, Navy Federal Credit Union help me to secure my mortgage loan with favorable rates, reliable representation, and respect as a valued member of the US Navy.

I could never have anything bad to say about Navy Federal. Even tho my interest rate was high, the way things worked out from the beginning until I decided to go with someone was all good. Customer service was impeccable!
