Attention: Ditech Home Loans is no longer in business

In September 2019, New Residential Investment Corp. acquired substantially all forward assets of Ditech Financial LLC.

Founded in 1995 by John Paul Reddam, Ditech Home Loans provides loans and refinance products. Many recognize the name Ditech from the TV commercial in the 2000s that would repeat “Lost another loan to Ditech!” Today, Ditech Home Loans has evolved into a completely new and improved business, while keeping the well-remembered name.

I had problems with my account not being credited and any time I spoke to some one they did not tell it was because of the restructuring but one representative Viola explained to me about the restructuring and let me know there would not be any late payment. I even got a call stating that I owed payments -but in less than 24 hrs every thing was up to date -I do not know if it had to do with the timing -THANK U VIOLA

Our home mortgage is with Ditech. The customer service we have received is top notch. Their fees were low and our interest rate was very low. The process to receive our loan was very efficient. I would finance through their company again if need be.

I would leave a zero star if it where possible. During my loan process, my escrow account was miss calculated. Heres the kicker. In order to pay extra escrow, i ether have to call these idiots and wait on hold for 20 to 30 mins and pay a 19 dollar fee, or mail a check. This is 2019 and i dont even know anyone who keeps freaking checks! Instead if i pay extra online it insists that they will allot my extra money where they see fit. Thats bs and they know it. But hey if my mortage had been sold to any reputable company, i wouldnt have to go threw all this trouble. These folks need to get there crap together. I will be refinancing here in the very near future. There poor customer service im sure wouldnt be matched by anyone.

Bank of America turned my mortgage servicing over to Green Tree/Ditech after embezzling about $24,000 from my mortgage payment account. The aforementioned knew this and has been trying to foreclosure to profit from BoA fraud and now their own fraudulent actions.
