The Medicare SmartStart Program is completely free to clients. Instead of clients paying out-of-pocket for Hibbard’s Medicare assistance and services, the business accepts a fixed fee-for-service that is set and fulfilled each year by the CMS.
The Medicare enrollment process can be time-consuming and confusing. The Medicare SmartStart Program seeks to alleviate stress by doing all the work for you — from doing insurance company research to transitioning health insurance coverage from your employer.
You will need to first schedule a strategy session with Hibbard where you will discuss your current circumstances and determine best steps moving forward. If you choose to move forward with the Medicare SmartStart Program after your initial strategy session, Hibbard will take care of all Medicare research and paperwork. He will even check-in weekly via phone call — although the Medicare process can be confusing, you will never be left out of the loop.
The Medicare SmartStart Program begins with a free Medicare strategy session with Hibbard. You will need to schedule a time for this session, which can be done online or over the phone.
During your strategy session, you will discuss your circumstances with Hibbard, and based on your conversation he will provide you with notes and specific solutions which will be provided to you in a customized "myMedicare Smart Path" planner.
The Medicare SmartStart Program is only available to residents of western New York, allowing the business to provide more specific and localized services. But unfortunately, if you don’t live in Western New York, Medicare Management of WNY’s services will not be available to you.
Medicare SmartStart Program is an operation run by a small team that has limited availability due to the fact that they are working on other client cases. Strategy sessions are typically booked four to six weeks in advance and spots in the Medicare SmartStart Program are limited. If you’re interested in the Medicare SmartStart Program, it’s best not to wait to schedule your strategy session.
