MOBI Technologies offers smart home and home health technologies to serve the various needs of its customers. The company offers products from video doorbells and baby monitors to Smart LED bulbs and medical alert systems. These medical alert systems are geared towards protecting seniors, keeping them connected to their loved ones and emergency dispatchers in case of an accident.
MOBI Technologies’ start package monitoring system includes a wireless HUB, MOBI help button, and lanyard. The initial monitoring system is a one-time purchase, connecting seniors to their emergency contacts. MOBI has also partnered with Noonlight, a medical alert subscription program, to offer affordable 24/7 emergency dispatch services. Together, with the MOBI start package and MOBI Noonlight, emergency personnel and caregivers will be notified of any major incident.
Mobi offers a wide range of health and home technologies that can be easily connected to each other. Smart support systems, MobiCam baby monitors, Smart lighting, and other MOBI products can all be monitored and controlled through one central system. All family members, no matter the age, can receive health benefits and safety through a MOBI smart home system.
MOBI offers a one-time purchase monitoring start package for $129.99–169.99, depending on the sale price. This product allows up to three caregivers to receive an alert when the help button is activated. The start package only includes the caregiver alert system (not emergency dispatch).
However, unlike dispatch alert systems, the MOBI alert system is not a monthly subscription. Compared to other medical alert systems, the family and friends alert is much less expensive. Of course, if clients want a more complete medical alert system with emergency personnel, MOBI Noonlight subscriptions seem to be available.
According to MOBI Technologies’ website, the company offers a 90-day warranty on medical alert monitoring systems. Several other top medical technology companies offer lifetime warranties on all products. MOBI Technology falls behind the industry standard for warranties.
MOBI’s medical monitoring package only includes caregiver alerts (up to three people). Emergency dispatch requires a monthly Noonlight subscription. However, the MOBI Technologies’ website doesn’t provide direct information about Noonlight purchasing or pricing. If a client wants a complete monitoring system, they should either contact a MOBI representative or look elsewhere.
The MOBI product details leave a lot of unanswered questions such as, “Is GPS tracking available,” “Is there a fall detection function,” “Can the device be used in the shower,” etc. Also, information about Noonlight services is lacking. On the product page, there is no clear information or links to learn more about Noonlight. If clients want both the caregiver and Noonlight emergency dispatch function, clients will have to go directly to a customer service representative to get clear information. Consumers need to be sure of the functions and services the monitoring device offers.
