If you're choosing between Fidelity Life and Prudential, you're choosing between two reliable insurers. Both have earned high financial strength ratings and have stood the test of time. The biggest differences between the two companies are their policy offerings. Both offer term life insurance. Prudential also offers several kinds of universal life insurance and survivorship policies that insure two people. Fidelity Life also offers final expense and whole life insurance.

My husband and I both have fidelity life insurance and have had it for nearly a decade. It's affordable and we have not had any issues. We have an ACH come out every month for less than $50 for each policy and when we first got it my husband needed to get a blood test in order to get the coverage and they came right to our house, which was really convenient.

AWFUL customer service and company. They will lie and hide details in order to fraudulently charge you for policies you repeatedly request to cancel. The agent Anthony Andrews was also awful to work with too. Avoid this company at all costs.

When my wife and I were exploring life insurance policies to fit our retirement portfolio with our financial advisor we were between Prudential and Ohio National. Prudential had a very competitive offer for the space which is why our FA had us looking at them but the rider policy we attempted to add in addition to the whole life insurance policy was not granted at the amount we were seeking so we had to go with their competitor.

Worst insurance company to deal with for a life claim , originally paid claim, I deposited The check and received a stop payment on it from my bank. Customer service is awful at times I thought I was speaking to representatives from outside the US The policy was in a trust I sent all required documents and they kept asking for something else. Not very accommodating
Fidelity Life offers term life insurance and final expense insurance. It also offers a few policies designed for seniors, like their whole life insurance policy. If you're a senior looking for life insurance or final expense insurance, Fidelity Life is a nice option.
Fidelity Life also offers good riders that can be added to policies. It offers the common disability waiver of premium, accidental death, and an accelerated death benefit. One unique rider it offers is an inflation rider which will adjust the death benefit for inflation to maintain your policy's purchasing power.
Like Fidelity Life, Prudential offers some common and valuable riders with some of its policies: disability waiver of premium, accidental death, and accelerated death benefit. It also offers term life insurance.
Unlike Fidelity Life, Prudential offers universal, variable universal, and indexed universal policies. It also has survivorship universal policies. These policies insure two people and pay a death benefit after both of the insured have passed away.
If a survivorship policy or universal policy is what you want, Prudential is a good choice. If you're a senior or looking for final expense insurance, Fidelity Life is worth investigating further.
