Haven’t found a job on LinkedIn officially, however, it’s great to give you an idea of what you might be looking for: and who to look for.

I love the website. I just didn’t like the layout of the site. Other than that the website is great. I am able to connect with other people that work in my industry.

Is a good platform for communicating and connecting with coworkers. Helpful for finding more info about companies. Tends to have annoying spam messages though.

Great network but bad support for site itself. If you forget password or email address. Or change numbers for back up just know you won’t have any luck getting into the page until you have your memory back.

Wants to be Facebook for businesspeople; Is actually MySpace for businesslesspeople. Too much effort invested into developing profile & contacts, not enough actual job opportunity.

LinkedIn is one of those services that you feel like you need to have in the professional world, but a pain to have. I feel like every time that I unsubscribe from emails, it only takes a month or two before I start getting marketing emails from them again. The concept of their site is great but, their execution is extremely off-putting .

LinkedIn is a good site for networking and finding people, but not necessarily job searching. Lots of people are applying to jobs (like over 300 in some instances) and the chances that my application would be considered is very close to zero. I also wonder if some (most) of the jobs will be filled internally.
