I've been a member for years and honestly do not feel I have gotten much out of it. It feels like something to have just so employers know you're not a serial killer. I also dislike the "who viewed your profile" feature as you don't always want someone to know you've viewed theirs.

This site is a lot more of a social media/networking site than a job search site. It's hard to find jobs on LinkedIn without knowing people, but it's good for employers to look at your background. It's more of a supplement to a job search, rather than a method to find jobs
