I dont use them anymore and it's been years. My dad died and even a bill in his name because I was the beneficiary they were attaching me. When all in all they should have reached out to the number that was used. His then girlfriend still resided there and I'm sure her cell phone number was used too. She gave me the equipment of theirs back so I could return. Verizon should reach out to customers they owe or have the equipment soon after they get cut or cancel service, cannot wait to pressure people who lost their loved ones

My, first internet service in New York City was, with Verizon Fios, I started out with a bundle phone, cable, internet, 2019. They made changes to service which now customers had to pay separate for phone service, when I spoke with customer services still had no clear understanding of change. All I can say is my bill increased, they offered no incentive to keep me as a customer, I know of other's people who discontinued services.

Verizon Fios had run pretty smoothly for me and was a great set up but one of the two times I had an issue customer service was not able to help me. I ultimately had to switch internet providers since the issue had not been resolved. Without the incident though, I was incredibly happy.

My internet connection has been hit or miss. There are days it doesn’t work for hours, or disconnects while on meetings. And then days where it works perfectly. Customer service has not been very helpful in trouble shooting due to the inconsistency of the issue.

FIOS used to be my favorite internet provider. Was the first company to lay fiber in the area and had unbeatable speeds. Since then other companies seem to offer more reliable and cost effective offers. That said I hop around between servicers to keep the promo/new customer discounts

Fastest internet I've ever had. The only issue is you need to have a special set up to even access it. I was living in NYC (BK specifically) and moved into a new building that allowed for it. It's expensive but in my opinion worth it.

I have a Verizon phone and happy with it. I tried to get FIOS Internet but it is not available in my area yet, nor is their 5G. Verizon has quality products, their customer service could be better though. I rarely had billing issues and have been with them for many years.

I do feel the rates for services to be rather high though in line with competitors. Customer service is a recorded voice prompt, or someone in a call center outside the United states

I am a verizon fios customer for more than a years at the beginning I had no issues it was good. However, for the past three months I been having issues with the Internet dropping signal. I am paying for a gig bite of Internet speed so it shouldn’t be dropping signal or slowing down. I contact customer service a few times and every time I call is the same they said there’s no issues with my Internet. And I have to stay with them for another year because I have a two year contract

I use Verizon for home internet access. The speeds are good but the customer service is not. It is often hard to get support for questions from a live person - you have to try and find the information yourself which can be very hard. I also do not like how it is very hard to get a good router other than the one they sell. I have had issues with the router dropping service now and again. Still the speed is quite good.

I grew up with Comcast which was good but pricey. FiOS absolutely crushes Xfinity in terms of cost and speed. This would be 5 stars but the tech didn't have the time to add any hardwired connections because he was overbooked for the day. So now we have lovely GB internet in our basement... when all of our rooms are on the second floor.

I am so frustrated with the lack of customer service with Verizon. It has been over a month that I have had connection issues with high speed internet. Each time that I call I am on the phone for over an hour and nothing gets resolved. The staff is not properly trained, they are rude, unprofessional and I had three yelling at me and hung up on me after I requested to talk to the supervisor. I only got a plan with Verizon fios because I was promised $25 discount but it has been a month and not a single Verizon employee has been able to apply the discount. I’ve had “technical errors” and “bad request” messages every time I call to figure out the discounts I was promised. The Wi-Fi also has gone out twice in the one month I’ve had it. One of those times they had to send out a technician to fix it and the other the IT team had to figure it out. I got catfished and I will be switching providers asap because every other provider I’ve had has been better than this.

Absolutely terrible service. WIFI goes down daily. Brand new router. Trash. Last router was trash and was extremely slow. Got a new router and it constantly turns off throughout the day and or I can never connect to it. Been like this for a couple years still not fixed. Verizon has been contacted multiple times and no fix has been provided. Paying money for GARBAGE service. Absolutely not worth. Stay clear from FIOS. Not worth a cent. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Switched to Verizon. 3+ hours to hook up. No TV or internet within 12 hours. Took 2 days to come and fix. After fixed worked for 28 hours then I spent 1 1/2 hours on phone trying to reach customer service, without ever speaking to a person. Finally reached them to disconnect. Worst TV , internet and customer service I have ever experienced. Would never use them again.

I was on the phone with an agent trying to return back , just because I questioned him about the price that guy became so rude , arrogantt . Who cares about how long you daily spend doing your job ? Verizon is horrific. They selectively honor their service appointments. If you’re Caucasian, you’re set. If you’re not, it doesn’t matter if you’re educated and an American citizen, your out of luck. I waited 12 hours for a tech today and when it came to honoring my appointment, the tech went home because he was over worked while another tech didn’t want the overtime and had to go home at 4:43 pm.

It would be nice if Verizon explained during the sales and signup process that they are going to raise my rates every month and at every opportunity, but of course that would require integrity and why ruin a good sales pitch with honesty.

Customer service is shoddy...cannot find records of what was agreed to even tho the material was available on two other occasions to reps. Now being overcharged by 30.00 monthly. Verizon has zero respect for long term customers. Stay far away if at all possible. Cancellation would not cost me 200.00...I suspect I can cover that with a new provider.

Switch and bait tactics, they send you an offer in the mail that looks appealing, After you switch to their services they change the plan on you and put you on a more expensive plan. After several months I still have to keep calling them and spending over 45 minutes on the phone with them and they still don't get it right so if you want to be calling and getting stressed out during every call then go ahead and get Fios. I personally wouldn't ever recommend them unfortunately I am stuck with them for two a two year contract at end I will definitely look for another provider.

If I can give it a zero I would. Can’t trust Verizon. They lied to me and told me I would have high Speed internet in my area. My internet was super slow. I only have them for two days after canceling my service. They told me my bill would be 40 dollars are it turns out my bill was 100 dollars just for having them for two days.then they sent my bill to collections the next month and affected my good credit.

This service is too slow going for neighborhoods that are not in the inner City. Newly opened sub-divisions are deprived of this upgraded service. I understand the process of getting approval for these services in locations take time.
