Elite Home Warranty, founded in 2020, specializes in customizable home warranty plans, allowing you to get a plan that will meet your specific needs. The company offers three pre-set plans with minimized exclusions and limitations, providing generous coverage for your home appliances and systems.

Extended Contract Features

Elite Home Warranty coverage is available for undetectable pre-existing conditions, items without maintenance records, insufficient maintenance, code violations and permits, rust, corrosion, sediment, lifting equipment, lodging expenses and food spoilage, refrigerate recapture, reclaim and disposal, and the dismantle and removal of defective equipment and items. Many of these conditions are not commonly covered by home warranty companies.

Elite Home Warranty also offers coverage for professional grade appliances, a service that isn't offered by many home warranty companies — the average service fee for professional grade appliances is $150.

Claims Concierge

Elite Home Warranty focuses on helping each customer through the claims process and ensuring that their needs are met, per their established agreement.

Claims can be filed online 24/7, but Elite Home Warranty also has a Claims Concierge, connecting a customer with a single point of contact throughout the entire claims process. The point of contact will keep you updated, providing information and answering questions, through each step of the way after you've filed a claim.

Licensed and Insured Technicians

Elite Home Warranty has a large network of vetted technicians that can address any need and provide high-quality service. If you work with an Elite technician, you are also provided with a 90-day workmanship warranty.

If you have your own technician that you'd like to work with, you are free to do so, but workmanship isn't guaranteed by Elite Home Warranty — if any appliance or system fails within the term, you will be responsible for covering any additional service call fees.

Money-Back Guarantee

Elite Home Warranty stands out from competitors because it offers a 60-day money-back guarantee. The first 60 days include the 30-day waiting period and the first 30 days of coverage.

If you cancel during this period, you'll receive a full refund of contract fees. If you cancel after this period, you'll receive a prorated refund of the contract fees minus an 8 percent cancellation fee.

If you're moving, you can transfer your home warranty to the new homeowner. You can also cancel your current plan. If you buy a new plan, you can have the cancellation fee waived. This option to cancel and buy a new plan offers helpful flexibility and isn't a common option for the industry.

Can I get coverage for old appliances and systems?

Yes, you can. Elite Home Warranty has no age restrictions. One of the benefits of home warranties is that older appliances can be covered. While there are some restrictions, many older appliances can still be covered by a home warranty.

Is there a waiting period?

Like most home warranty companies, Elite Home Warranty has a 30-day waiting period. If you are switching to Elite from another home warranty provider and have proof of existing coverage, this waiting period may be waived. It can also be waived by providing the company with valid home inspection documents that are not older than 90 days.

I am not a paid actor, just an average home owner. I just got Elite Home Warranty coverage in April, 2024 and have already have had to use it twice since then and it's only July. I was nervous upon signing at first as they are located in Brooklyn, NY and I'm in Yardley, PA, but they had the best deals so I thought I'd give them a try. I want to tell you...THEY ARE NO MISTAKE! They have already paid me $500 cash for my Microwave to be replaced and just today, another $419 reimbursement coming via direct deposit to my checking acct. in just a few days, for an electrical breaker for my pool that my "own" electrical technician, whom I was allowed to choose, charged me. They are quick, easy to work with and extremely fair. I'm paying about $800 a year for over $18K worth of claims coverage allowed and they allow me to pay it monthly. Now how can you beat that?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend them and on top of all that, they're extremely nice and thorough!

My washing machine was leaking water. Elite sent a technician who said he couldn't find a leak. He left without doing anything and I still had to pay a $70 service call fee, which made me upset. Then Brandon from Elite called me and said he would sent someone else for a second opinion. The next technician pointed out that the machine probably couldn't handle the amount of clothes I was putting in it. He showed me the residue from the water that splashes out when the machine is too full. He recommended that I run half-size loads and get washing machine cleaning tablets. He also said there could be a drainage problem behind the machine. I moved in a few months ago and I don't know how the previous owners were abusing the machine. I was happy to get advice on how to maintain my washing machine.

I am rating the initial customer service experience. Nir was helpful, knowledgeable and non-abrasive. He did not use aggressive sales tactics or coercion and allowed me time to consider my decision while assessing multiple quotes. I appreciate the promptness with which he shared information and discussed service options, which surprisingly not all company do well. While this was not my cheapest option I think his display of professionalism, attentiveness and accessibility bode well for future interactions with the company. As I have said, this was review is solely based on my initial sign up experience but I think the add early communications are indicators of the service you can expect.

I was skeptical about signing up with Elite Home Warranty because I had another home warranty company years ago and I was very unhappy with them. I own a multi-family home and it is not always convenient for me to oversee repairs since I have a very demanding full-time job, as well. I have a couple of friends who subscribe to Elite and based upon their satisfaction, I decided to try Elite. It was the best decision ever! Their representative, Tracy, is fantastic. She listened to my problem and understood that I had tenants involved when scheduling the repair. She personally contacted my tenant and set up the date, time, etc. to fit their time schedules. She reported back to me as to the progress of the repair. She went over the company's policy to me so that everything was clear in my mind as to what I was responsible for. She even gave me her direct phone number so that I could reach her at my convenience. The repair was completed in record time. She is definitely someone who understands the true meaning of the customer service concept! Needless to say, I am extremely happy with Elite and the service that Tracy provided. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Elite Home Warranty is probably one of the best decisions that I've ever made. I am a widow, and I was used to my husband taking care of everything in our house. After he died, I realized that I needed help with maintaining my home. I checked a few home warranty companies and decided on Elite. I am thrilled with their service. Her name is Tracy and she should be given the recognition that she deserves. She listened to my problem and immediately began to find solutions. And she followed up with me afterwards to be sure that I was satisfied with what had been done. She even provided me with her direct line so that I could reach her quickly. I have been an American Home Shield customer for over two years. Over the last year and a half, I have experienced a change within the company after experiencing difficulty working with their customer service department and service contractors. After some research and another difficult contract work experience, I decided to go Home Warranty service shopping. There were so many available to sort through, when I happened upon Elite Home Warranty. I went through Elite's website and researched it's business model and logistics. I was extremely leery due to not finding much wrong with this company. I dug even further and found that they've adapted to accommodate even older systems and appliances for their customers. Last thing, I checked the BBB ( Better Business Bureau ). How does and A+ , Five Stars and ZERO complaints since accreditation 12/13/2021. They are Military/Veteran friendly and each associate I spoke to was clear, concise and very informative. This kind of care and outreach is important to me and I look forward to the reporting of future experiences with them. I encourage you to research and do your due diligence in finding another company that can exceed and compare to Elite.

I have only been with Elite for about a month but so far my experience has been great. I filed my first claim yesterday and the process was very smooth. I do wish there was an option to file a claim online but my call was answered quickly and my claim professional was knowledgeable and courteous. She was able to get someone out same day which never happened with my previous home warranty company. She even followed up today to ensure my issue had been resolved. I found Elite Home Warranty and when I contacted them about more information for a warranty plan for my home I was helped right away. There was very little to no wait time for a customer service agent and he wanted to make sure I understood everything and had no questions at all in the end.
