The SafeZone24 packages do not provide surveillance monitoring, but they do provide the hardware and installation, as well as a warranty package. Because of this, you know what you are getting and how much you are paying for it. There are no added or hidden fees. And if you would prefer someone else monitor your surveillance system, you can add that on at any time with SafeZone24 and their monitoring partners. For customers who choose not to go with a surveillance monitoring partner, the ability to self-monitor the SafeZone24 system is freely available. The surveillance packages come with a DVR (digital video recording) system with either 2 or 4 terabytes of storage, depending on the package. You can then monitor the system yourself via the online web app, smartphone app, or from watching the footage directly from the DVR. Your installation technician will make sure that you get set up to self-monitor during installation.

Because of this, if you are the first customer in your area, you may receive a technician who has never installed your exact system before and may not be fully familiar with product specific intricacies or the self-monitoring system. Outside of video surveillance, SafeZone24 lists that they offer smoke detectors, burglar alarm systems, access control panels, face recognition technology, and community watch opportunities, but all of these services require you to contact them and be set up with a partner, making them brokers for the additional hardware and associated services and not providers. This can drive up the price as well as require additional complications depending on your location. The online presence for SafeZone24 seems to be lacking for a company with more than twenty years of experience in such a technological field. They have limited online reviews, and the ones they do have are brief and seemingly bunched in similar timeframes, which means that they may not be authentic.
