I'm stuck in their scammers contract!! Please just seek out better options! I purchased a Protect America plan unknowingly, the company was taken over by Brinks. Since then, my monthly fee increased and now I don't have service. I purchased the package that included a monthly fee for a doorbell camera system and indoor cameras for monitoring. Since the company was taken over by Brinks, my security system has been malfunctioning and now has not worked for almost a full month. Brinks does not sell or monitor the old Protect America equipment. Instead of refunding me my money for the month that I have not had service, the company would like for me to pay them nearly $1,500 for a system that no longer works!

I have had Protect America for 4 years now. The first 3 were great, but since the acquisition by Brinks, my experience could not have been worse. I haven't been able to use my app or get online on my account for months, and after approximately 12 times of trying to get in contact with customer service (via sitting for a hour on hold, using the chat function, leaving messages...) I was finally able to talk to a human person today, only to find out that my system hasn't even been active for months. I have done nothing to the system to change my status, and they definitely never hesitated to charge me during this time. Basically, I have a false sense of security this past half of a year. Terrible.

Worst company ever. Lost ability to get service after 1 week when I tested the security system remotely after a long distance move. Almost at the end of the 3 year contract and still paying for service of an inactive account even though I told them I lived remotely and that I needed dependable service. Can't even get a letter saying that account is inactive for the local police dept that wants me to pay for a security license. Do not deal with these people or you will be sorry.

Worst company I ever did business with. Sent a complaint To BBB . Service is terrible and There equipment is garbage . Beware, stay away from these Clowns.
