We are two companies under one roof. We have two properties that we had Peak install their systems in. From day one, we have had nothing but problems with the system. We have received little to no resolve, with problems remaining. We receive numerous calls in the late evening of alarms, all due to system failure. We addressed these issues repeatedly with the Peak office and explained that we are now being told by the local Police that if they respond to another false alarm, we will be billed. We have requested, several times to have the system shut down and our contract canceled. After explaining this to Peak, they assured us that if we had one more problem, they would cancel the contract. We have since received another false alarm and have now received our first bill from the Police, as promised. We notified Peak and they said they would cancel the contract if and when we pay for the full three-year contract. This is by far the worst alarm/service company we have had the misfortune to deal with.

In addition to the security system and 24/7 services, they installed a security camera system and aided in the design and installation of a Z-wave based home automation system. The service team in Boise, ID is very responsive and helpful. We have been Peak customers for over 23 years, and have never had a single problem.

This is a terrible company. I just recieved notice that I'm being charged $300 cancelation fee. I would not have changed carriers if their equipment worked. 15 years as clients. The house would not arm from the key fob. The new fob armed the house every few minutes on its own. Calls for service has to go to Ogden. NO followup. I had to call several times to get someone here. Repairs failed. Now they want to change for disconnect. I should be reimbursed by peak from having to buy equipment from someone else that works. $500+. DO NOT BUY FROM PEAK.

Terrible company... We originally took over the equipment for monitoring from the previous owner... The cameras were what we really wanted. Signed a 3-year contract - will never do that with anyone again. They stopped supporting the camera monitoring and since we changed our ISP they wont come out to reconfigure... Still paying and today I asked that they come get ALL their equipment... they said they couldn't touch the AV equipment because they don't work with it now... And NO they wouldn't let us out of our contract despite the fact that we are paying for something that they no longer suppert.....arrrrrggghhhhh!!!!!

Be careful when dealing with this company. They will get you to sign for services that you do not need. The installation of their equipment is extremely expensive, but what is worse is that they will pull out that equipment if you don't pay their exorbitant monthly fees. We have an office building that they are making us pay over $500 per month in monitoring fees and they are also charging our tenants for the same services and fees. We have paid over $40,000 in equipment costs. We have equipment failures that they won't come and fix. Be careful.
