Optimum Overwatch provides customers with a choice of three different base packages. Service cost starts at a monthly base of $19.99 and has optional add-ons based on a client’s needs.

Add-On Options

Optimum Overwatch provides video plans that offer sharp, uploadable image monitoring with extra cameras. Other add-on options include a connected car app and the Flex IO Sensor which can monitor someone’s movements and can give caretakers peace of mind while watching over a loved one.

This sensor add-on and help simplify and automate daily routines, alert caregivers if there is an anomaly in behavior patterns, and provide monitoring of the property around a residence. For example, if you have a dog that gets loose, you get a notification instantly that your back fence was open. 

Contract Length

Optimum Overwatch offers a 24-month contract term. For the home security industry, this is average.

Limited Service Area

Optimum Overwatch is not available to everyone. The company only services residents and businesses in Southern Colorado.

Lack of Customer Reviews

Unfortunately, Optimum Overwatch has no reviews to be found, even on its social media page. This is likely because it is such a new company, but still, a disadvantage when comparing Optimum Overwatch to other companies.  

It is so important to have insight from previous customers and without any, we would recommend looking for another option. Consumers looking for home security should look for company reviews that report prompt and friendly customer service, trustworthiness, and very few false alarms. 

Young Company

Optimum Overwatch filed paperwork at the end of 2020 to incorporate but looks to have just opened its doors in 2021. It is new and does not have a credible reputation of longstanding reliable service. New companies that provide a service with contract terms are not recommended without five years of work history. Finding a company that has at least five years in business builds confidence for potential buyers. 

Lack of Crucial Information

Optimum Overwatch gives no information on its website about equipment costs, cancellation fees, moving fees, or equipment warranties. Not having this information readily accessible is a detriment because potential customers require these details to compare services.  

Optimum Overwatch has a relatively low monthly fee compared to other companies, but if the equipment is several hundreds of dollars, the low monthly fee is less valuable.
