Monnit's products have a range of up to 300 feet, meaning you can use them in large rooms in just about any environment. Most of Monnit's devices run off a 3G of 2G cellular network. This means increased reliability for you. The devices easily communicate with your computer or other device. As much as anything, you need your devices to last, and Monnit will come through for you. You won't have to worry about your sensors or gateways dying anytime soon, as battery life extends to as much as 10 years.

The company markets a plethora of business solutions, some of which may work for your home, but its focus is definitely not on residential clients. When working with products as intricate as monitoring devices, it's essential to understand what warranties are available. However, Monnit makes no information known regarding warranties. This is disappointing and frustrating to the customer who may experience problems with their product. If you do have an issue, you are advised to contact customer support. At that point, an agent will advise you on what to do next and whether you are entitled to a refund. Of course, refunds are only available within the first 30 days of purchase.
