Gridless Sentry
The Sentry is a security system that does not require any infrastructure, making it a perfect solution for industries that are often changing their location (construction, entertainment events, photography, etc.).
The only things the Sentry requires to work are a pole and a solar panel. If you have those things, you have a 24/7 security system that can be used to prevent thefts and remotely monitor project/job progress. Plus, you have access to all your footage from the serverless cloud backend.
Technical Specifications
For those interested in the technical specifications (tech specs) of the Sentry security system, Gridless provides all that information upfront and on the website. You can easily view the camera's resolution specs, the field of view, lens type, range, etc. The specs also tell you what to expect from the battery (runtime, cycle life, etc.).

While this going into this much detail may not be for everyone, it is beneficial to those who may be doing some window shopping and would like to compare the Gridless to alternative power sources and want to ensure they're getting the right product for the job.
Warranty
The Gridless Sentry comes with a 5-year warranty for the camera and battery. The Gridless Sentry warranty is slightly better than most home generators which typically offer coverage for 3 years.
Durability
Gridless designs all its products to stand up to all types of elements; the case it comes in is rain, snow, and weather-resistant, plus shock-resistant.
Consumers should be aware that the Gridless is not waterproof. So do not submerge the product in the water, puncture the case or allow moisture/debris on the vents. However, this is the standard of all gridless power sources, so this isn't a cause for concern.
Government Grants

The Bottom Line
Gridless can only be purchased by government agencies or large corporations, so don't rely on it as a permanent solution (although maybe someday). However, consumers can rent Gridless products from their local Herc Rentals and use the various power sources for DIY projects.
The Gridless Sentry security system may not be the ultimate choice for home security (as individual consumers can only rent). Still, it would be great for those building a home/in the construction phase. The security system is low maintenance and needs no pre-existing infrastructure. All you need is a pole and a solar panel. This would allow you to monitor your site 24/7 and view the progress.
If you work for a large corporation or government program, it would be wise to consider Gridless for your alternative power needs.
